This line from P&P 1980 made me think of the absurd bad reviews of national parks that are portrayed on the hilarious IG subparparks (There’s also a book, which I bought.)
Rolling hills, heathlands, moors, rapid streams, limestone and sandstone, dales that harbor orchids and numerous other flowers, the “Mermaid’s Pool” (if you look into the pool at dawn on Easter Sunday, you will see her), the “Shivering Mountain” so called because its landslips give it an uneven appearance… really, you’d think Nature would have better taste.
