You screamed through you radio as you crossed the checkered flag, “Let’s fucking go, baby!”

“Great job, Y/N! From P9 to taking the trophy home,” Your race engineer spoke through the radio, “Proud of you.”

“It feels like I’m on a high,” You exhaled as you drove up to park the car near the podium, “What position did Kimi finish?”

“He finished P2,” He replied, “Great day for the team. Well done, brilliant race.”

You sighed happily as you pulled yourself out of the car, standing on top of it and basked in the glory of your victory. Taking off your helmet, you smiled and waved to the fans.

As Kimi pulled his car up next to you, he couldn’t help but notice the way your hair perfectly framed your face, how the wind seemed to be a paid actor from how you looked like you were in a film.

Turning around to see Kimi taking off his helmet, you stepped down the car and ran up to him, hugging him tightly, “Great race today, Iceman.”

Kimi chuckled softly as he patted your back, surprised from your actions, “You too. You keep surprising us with your skill.”

“Aw, shucks. Kimi being a softie?” You grinned as you nudged him, “C’mon, let’s get up to the podium!”

Before Kimi could say anything, you grabbed his hand and walked to the podium. Kimi couldn’t fight back the blush when his friend, Sebastian, winked at him from the scene unfolding in front of him.

The top three finishers were called one by one, your country’s national anthem playing as you stood proudly on the top spot of the podium. Kimi couldn’t help but take a few glances at you every now and then – he knew the media was going to have a field day from this, but did that matter?

As soon as the celebration started, champagne being sprayed all over – you couldn’t stop laughing as you sprayed Kimi and Lewis, running away from the two of them.

Kimi thought that you looked nothing short of beautiful, you had the biggest smile and he sure hoped that he could be the reason behind that.

“Kimi!” You laughed as you backed up, directly spraying him with the champagne, “Payback’s a bitch!”

“No fair,” Kimi droned as he put his bottle down, “Mine’s all gone.”

“Looks like I’m the winner,” You poked your tongue out, “Well, technically I actually am.”

Taking a deep breath, Kimi stood by you and intertwined his fingers with yours, facing the crowd and waving to the fans.

“Kimi…” You mumbled as you couldn’t help but blush from Kimi’s actions, “What are you doing?”

Kimi gave you a small smile as he turned to look at you, “Just making my move.”

Turning to look back at him, you raised an eyebrow, “You know the media’s going to have a field day, right?”

“So?” Kimi shrugged as he held your hand, walking down and heading off to the Ferrari garage, “I win anyways. I got the girl, what about it?”

“How sure are you?” You teased, not letting go of his hand just yet, “That you got the girl?”

Kimi squeezed your hand as he trailed behind you, “You’re not letting go of my hand obviously.”

You laughed as you rolled your eyes, letting go of his hand and fighting back a smile while you held onto your trophy, “Pick me up at 9.”

Kimi shrugged as he tied his fireproof suit around his waist, “I’ll pick you up at 9.”

You tiptoed as you kissed his cheek quickly and ran off to do your interviews at the media pen. Kimi scoffed as he brought up a hand to his cheek, his face warming up from the way you made his heart flutter. Yeah, he sure did get the girl this time.
