It takes place in the summer of the GoM's 2nd years so Kagami was 17 not 18.

It's right after the interhigh (which takes place in August) but still in summer so maybe toward the end of August or in early September.

Each school have their summer camps at different time. But if Seirin and Shutoku chose to have it at the same time as the year before, extra game takes place after their training camps too.

Momoi's data gathering can sound very close to stalking, like, we knows she doesn't mean it that way but the kind of infos she has on the other players is really alarming. But also i think she is too smart to ever get caught.

Kuroko, Kagami, Midorima, Akashi and Aomine all attacked someone at some point, but again Kuroko, Midorima and Akashi wouldn't get caught. Aomine and Kagami might but Kagami is chiller now and the Kagami at the end fo the manga would never punch someone again. And Aomine is supposed to become a cop in an alternative future (as horrifying as it sound) so he probably wouldn't get arrested either ?

Kise and Murasakibara might commit a crime by accident and they would 100% get caught.

Yeah exactly, that what makes Kuroko a good character, no one wants to read the story of Mr. Perfect who never did anything wrong in their life. It's a good things that Kuroko has flaws, he would be an unbearable protagoniste otherwise.

Maybe it's because he is written to be particulary relatable, so people have a harder time accepting his flaws ? As if it was a personal attack somehow?

Going back to headcanons of Akashi being lame, I have a headcanon that he doesn't know how to swing. He never got the chance since the many activities his father enrolled him in as a child meant he was nowhere near a park most of the time unless he was in the basketball courts practicing.

Yes, he probably had a playground in his elementary school that likely had a swingset, but if he never learned how to swing, I would bet he wouldn't wanna ask his peers either because he didn't wanna single himself out. So he just went his entire childhood not being able to swing on a swingset.

The next time he would find himself near a swingset is if maybe post-Winter Cup, the Teiko gang grabs food from Maji after a hangout sesh and goes to eat it in the park. After eating, Aomine and Kise make up a stupid competition to see who can swing the highest, and when Aomine keeps winning, Kise tries to enlist Akashi to help just to finally see Aomine get humbled. But to Kise and everyone else's surprise, Akashi reluctantly (and bashfully) admits that he doesn't actually know how to swing.

(They spend the rest of their time in the park teaching him. And when he gets the hang of it, they all cheer him on, and a little part of Akashi's inner child is healed.)

The gom ALL failed each other, Kuroko failed them too. Like, they are just kids and they had no idea how to deal with all of this. Kuroko isn't some angel who saved them, he was just as lost as they were and more egocentric than half of them 😭

The fact that they all got to play together again was a perfect ending, they shouldn't have to atone all their lives for being a mean when they were 15-16.

The funniest part is that he spent most of his first year with long bangs. He only cut his hair at the very end of december, three months before the end of the school year.

But i'm gonna be honest with you, the short bangs grew on me, i think it's cute. I would still like some official merch with the long bangs though

KNB merch artists give Akashi his bangs back he's been punished enough

No but i'm almost certain that height requirement is a real thing to get modelling jobs 😭 i believe below 1m80 you have zero chance (apart from young kids for clothes magazines etc). Thatts what i've always heard
