You’ve got a very stable emotional well-being, are in good health and show gratitude towards your partner. You have a comforting presence and enjoy indulging in the luxuries of life. You have issues with clinging to your past experiences. You need to let go of the past.

Your Relationship

I detect greediness in terms of your relationship. You fight about material things. Maybe he says you purchase too many luxury items. Maybe you find that he is greedy in that he always acts on impulse and just expects you to understand. There is a possessive energy as well. A lot of control issues. He wants to be in charge of most of your relationship and even you in general.

Him

He is impulsive overbearing and has unachievable expectations. His dreams and desires are the most important to him. He doesn’t know how to give yours as much attention. He does not appreciate what you do but he instead expects it, and to an unrealistic degree.

Overall take away

This relationship is appearing to be very toxic. I get the feeling that you think you can fix him or heal his wounds. It is impossible to heal someone who doesn’t think they are damaged. If you’re going to continue this relationship, please be cautious and set new standards.

The Dilemma

You view this friend as someone very valuable to attain. For a long time you’ve admired them and fantasized about them, and yet the beaver says that you have a shaky foundation. If you aren’t currently your best self, if there is much work to be done for you to be happy just being you, then it doesn’t seem wise to pursue a love interest. We cannot rely on family friends or our lovers to be the source of our happiness.

Your Current Plan

The groundhog and badger within the reversed page of shields provides insight on where your mind is at. You plan to confess your feelings for this man. Your head is in the clouds as you daydream about an impractical future. There is much work to be done in your own life before you achieve self reliant confidence and joy. You are not thinking this through in terms of how it would effect him.

The Outcome

The third card, reversed six of shields, hints at the theme of greed and theft. Perhaps you’re desiring a relationship or love with this friend while he is already taken. Or maybe, alternatively, there is a lack of consideration for how he would feel. The vulture tells me that your friendship will not go to waste if you confess your feelings, but at the same time, it does not look like a very good decision to make.

I pulled two more cards for additional insight into the outcome of the matter. The Reversed Queen of Shields and the Three of Swords. I believe that if you confess, he will be suspicious of your intentions. This will result in impulsive hurtful words charged by his paranoia.

Overall, I do not think it’s a good idea. :(

You have an automatic self defeated opinion of your social life. Because of this, you give into temptation and tend to take destructive shortcuts towards friendships. You try to force them and you don’t feel like they will happen naturally.

Challenges Ahead

You will need to be patient because true friends come forward organically. You have to allow your guides to move them towards you. You will meet potential friends soon. Give it time. Time is a blessing in disguise. Quick friends are not lasting friends. Do not be tempted to lie about yourself to make yourself sound more appealing to potential friends. This is counter productive and only pushes more people away.

Patience is key. Be patient and they will come.

Advice

It’s time to let go of your habit of attempting to force friendships. You really like selling this dishonest version of yourself to people. You must be brave and be your own best friend before others can genuinely see your light shine and be attracted towards you. Take this time while you wait for others to come to you to learn more about yourself. Being alone will only make someone lonely if they do not see themselves as a close friend.

Be your own best friend and many will follow.

Hi, Rachel! Absolutely. I’m just going to do a general three card draw with some oracles to get a read on how he feels.

How He Feels About You

Okay well he is thinking about you a lot. I think the universe and both of your guides are definitely pushing you both together. It seems to me that he has a lot of paranoias/insecurities from either past relationships or experiences with other girls.

When he is around you, he feels like he is in the outdoors and getting fresh air. He believes that you give him luck and that your wise advice is extremely valuable. He also thinks you’re very beautiful, but he fears your beauty. He is paranoid that you would be unfaithful to him and that he might become very possessive over you out of that fear, probably from past habits in old relationships. Maybe he already has shown signs of possessiveness and insecurity.

He is afraid that his paranoias are making you anxious, basically convinced that he’s going to sabotage his relationship with you. Right now he is very nervous and self conscious towards you. He doesn’t want to cause a fight so he won’t bring his concerns up.

I believe that the reason he is so paranoid is because he thinks so highly of you :)

Weekly Tarot Reading For Sunday, June 16th, 2019 - Saturday, June 22nd, 2019!

To anyone who reads this, this is your advice for the upcoming week starting tomorrow! 

You

The thing that you need to focus on the most is your personal strength and your compassion when interacting with others. For those in retail, yeah, it’s really hard to put up with customers, especially when they’re nasty towards you. You may even be dealing with toxic coworkers or a selfish loved one. 

Know that deep down, you desire to sympathize with them. You can achieve this compassion by accepting that their anger or toxicity has nothing to do with you. It is just their own redirected aggression. Be brave like the eagle spirit! Reach into YOUR inner spirit, and allow your guides to give you the gift of balanced, calm emotions. Do this, and others will find it easy to lean on you without weighing you down. 

Challenges

This week, it will be hard for you to make a necessary sacrifice. You may feel fear which in turn will cause you to hesitate even though you know sometimes one must take two steps back before they can move forward. I know you worked hard to attain what you’ll have to let go of, but know that this is your guides doing and that it is necessary in order to grow as a person. You must accept this in order to further yourself along in a fruitful way. 

The dove advises you to find peace with this hard sacrifice and the parrot informs you that other people’s thoughts and opinions on this matter hold no importance. 

Embrace and accept who YOU are when facing this difficult sacrifice and allow yourself to make it. 

It won’t feel like a good thing to do but know that it is the best decision. 

Advice

Practice self-awareness this week. Sometimes our inner-child hinders us and we forget to think maturely when we do not get our way or when we have to do something we do not want to. Before you speak, check in with your emotional state. Are you about to throw a tantrum and whine because of anxiety, anger, and frustration? Take a few breaths and calm your heart rate. Reconsider your words and then speak. 

The crow encourages you to be realistic about your responsibilities now that truths are being revealed to you. The Starfish reminds you not to think in black and white. There are many different options, strategies, and possible outcomes to your situation. Think them all through before assuming the worst or before making a split-second choice.
