i know its been ages since i last posted here. most of you follow me for my kkir fic (i assume) and while this isn't fandom related, it is my writing. before i was a fic writer, i was first and foremost a poet. i still am. i don't really expect anyone to be interested, but i'm posting it here just in case--

i completed my first little zine! a small collection of queer poems on love... specifically about falling in love with someone online, after having met in a fandom space, and the ache (and anger) of not being able to act on it because of something as trivial (and stupid!!) as distance. i'm super proud of it; it's my best poetry yet.

its been a year since i wrote this post and its STILL TRUE. I still wake up to notifs every day 😭😭😭

no, but.. getting that ask about the nata playlists.. sigh. lemme tell u all something. I know I said there was going to be a third portion to nata, and i meant it. I am still actively writing it. however--this is sort of vulnerable for me to admit--but i get super intimidated when it comes to writing my iruka... because as most of you know (and for those who have read my ending nata note) I no longer live in PR. It's been three years since I left. Three years since I spoke Spanish. Since I've been immersed in puerto rican/boricua culture... thats no longer my reality, and i have this giant looming fear that I won't be able to flesh him out well enough anymore. That I won't be able to do him justice.. and so it stops me from writing. And makes me wonder if I should just leave the series as it is... even though I have more to say.

the doc for the third portion has a 4k word count so far and thats barely scratching the surface lmao SO. idk. i dont know what to do. i'm afraid of ruining my own work i guess skdgjksl and i dont wanna disappoint anyone. does that make sense? what do you think? i'm also probably just standing in my own way but.... its just such an important series to me, and is important to so many people, that i just dont wanna fuck it up!! 🫠

honestly, every time I receive a piece of fan art it absolutely blows my mind. knowing that my words have not only inspired someone else to create something, but that the thing they chose to create involves bringing my world to life... it's truly the greatest gift. I love it more than I can say.
