Hi I have another question (and sorry if I'm bothering you) but do you have advice to help get inspired to continue or restart with photography? I do b&w film and I love it but I just haven't been shooting since August/September. I don't want to quit photography but I'm kinda in a artist block I guess haha... Anyway thanks for your time!
So since I don’t think I’ve ever answered a question like this before, I’m going to give it a shot.  I think that the most important thing about photography is that you as the “artist” are not meant to inspire yourself, at least in my experience and opinion.  Examine the difference between a painter and a photographer.  A painter takes a blank canvas and creates something from in, while a photographer is given the entire world and most pluck a piece from it as honestly and gently as they possibly can.  As someone who takes photos, such a thing as an “artistic block” should not exist, because you are not the one creating what the see.  You as the photographer are meant to see the world and capture it in the way you want it to be seen.  While this may take some degree of inspired eye and heightened sense of spatial awareness, it is still an artistic medium delegated to us by the world in which we live.  It sounds to me like you are trying to get ideas for photos, which is not the purest form of the medium, because again this goes back to the artistic question of creation vs isolation.  I think to truly be “inspired”  enough to take photos, you have to continually see the world in such a way that it is photograph-able by you.  You have to see the way light flows and how people stand and how buildings crowd together and then the camera just becomes an extension of what you see and how you feel, and then you can imbue your photographs with the emotion that you feel when looking at the world because the photograph becomes an honest representation of how you feel about it.  The short answer here is to not look for inspiration, but to become inspired by what is around you and capture those things that you find important, because that is what is going to give your photographs meaning and in turn drive you to want to photograph more. To me there is no restart, there is no renewed inspiration, and there is no technical basis of motivation for taking photographs, it’s all about capturing those moments you don’t want to forget.  Camera or no camera, you have to change how you see the world, and only then can you foster a passion for the art form, which is truly just a passion for the world around you and a want to preserve it how it was.  Thanks for asking, it wasn’t a bother in the slightest, hope this helps.  (P.S. I’d suggest starting using color film too, unless you have a specific reason you like B&W, and maybe take a look at some work by the greats such as Stephen Shore, Joel Sternfeld, and the ever-popular William Eggleston, all of their work is extremely important in my opinion.  Thanks again.)
