🎃 Spooktober - Additional pictures part 1

Like last year I would like to show a few additional pictures of the spooktober characters. Because I created a lot of Sims specifically for this purpose this time, I decided to take a few gameplay photos to show them a little more. These Sims live together in a total of three lots for the time being, hence pictures from different locations.

I think I'll also do a post with underwater pictures at some point, because I took a bunch of pictures as part of the two underwater topics; however, they are all green screen images, which means I have to edit them first and I don't know when I'll have time for that. So it will probably take some time.

Jack-o-Lantern

When I saw this Blender scene a few weeks ago, I just couldn't resist. I took several pictures of my Sally, but in the end these two are my favorites.

Freestyle

For the freestyle theme I decided this year on a version of a headless rider. I thought to myself, they could also be female. Who knows who harmed her so much that she completely lost her head 🫣 In any case, you shouldn't meet her outside today, because if she sets out on a campaign of revenge, she's not to be trifled with 🎃 ...

Zodiac signs

FINALLY 🥹! I already made the image together with 'Black water' and I don't like keeping things to myself 😆🤭. Especially if I like them.

At first I thought about making one of my characters as his star sign, but then decided against it and made my own instead 😌 That's why there's a reunion with the Aquarius from 'Black water'. I wouldn't rely on being saved by him 👀 ...

Creature feature

At first glance, this picture doesn't seem particularly scary. But Celeste is not to be messed with: one wrong move and Celeste, with the power of her thoughts alone, will cause entire worlds to be destroyed ...

Inspiration for today: Do you remember the end of Men in Black 1? The alien that plays marbles with the galaxies? My inspiration ...

Celeste is not mine but @love.whims on Instagram. I'm not playing aliens in any of my saves, but Celeste came with a Simdump and I really like her appearance. She lives in one of my saves, but since I don't actively play her I decided to use her for one of my Spooktober days instead.

Twisted Disney

Sorry, I'm not even remotely scary this time 😂😂😂🙈 I already know what the Twisted Disney theme usually entails, but I've been thinking about it for ages and still haven't really come up with a good idea that I haven't seen somewhere before or that I was able to implement. And I didn't want to imitate either. Don't leave it out though, I love Disney! So I decided relatively quickly to have a princess, a thief and a djinn swap roles in a slightly different way, then at least it's a bit Twisted Disney 😉🤭

Shadow Prince

When I hear prince in the context of games, my first thought is always 'Prince of Persia'. I still know the original game from the 80s, of the later games I played 'The sands of time' and 'Warrior within'. Although the style of these two couldn't be more different, I love both games and I quite like the gameplay idea.

Alice in Horrorland

Of course my story Alice has to take the photo on this topic. I've used her a few times already for the challenge last year and then also created her (mirror) counterpart, who is also in action here.

On the topic: I don't like these types of clowns at all and thought they definitely belong in a picture with this topic. Because the 'evil' Alice somehow always reminds me of an evil doll, today the whole thing takes place in an oversized children's room setting. I created Alice's outfit for Halloween at some point in the game and it's a fantasy combination in itself. Nevertheless, the attentive observer might not miss what kind of dress she is wearing, even if you only see it from behind 😉 This would also clarify another inspiration for the picture 🤭

I played a bit with different filters for this picture and I think image 1 best fits the topic, but the second one ist my favorite.

Hocus Pocus

Hocus Pocus was the theme and 'Hocus Pocus' I did. I have no idea who else remembers the movie (I only know the part from the 90s), but I immediately had the film poster in mind when I read the theme (I didn't know the name of the movie at first, I even mixed it up and I only discovered that the film was actually called exactly the same when I was researching 😆 I haven't seen it myself in ages).

So here are the Sanderson sisters Mary, Winifred and Sarah. I'm not that good at creating a sim based on a template, but I actually think Winifred is quite good. Mary is actually also okay, but unfortunately the pose doesn't show that 🤷🏻‍♀️

Boo

Nothing special today, I just asked my ghosts to take a group photo in front of 'their' mausoleum. The girls set the tone for them and as you can easily see from their posture, the lady in the middle causes the most trouble.

Bonus image 2: the ghosts in their favorite mood. And yes, our troublemaker always fluctuates between angry and confident.

Light in the dark

The idea came to me when I was creating a Merida and Angus in game; I thought of the scene in the movie when she follows the will-o'-the-wisps. I also happened to have seen a suitable Blender scene before (challenge accepted: using a Blender scene for the first time). I started with my idea, but I didn't really like it and wasn't satisfied, that's picture two. I then looked around the scene a bit and - bam - there was the picture for today.
