This may be random but do you know where I can learn more about eastern europe history online? I want to get into historical hetalia too but I don't know any sources to start with

hi !! i'm no expert haha but i think if you're coming at it from a hetalia perspective, the best thing to do is to read fics with a historical setting, in this case about eastern european characters! and then if you find a specific time period, event, etc. interesting, you can google it and learn more about it :) otherwise there's so much stuff to learn that if u tackle it all at once it could feel overwhelming! start with what interests you and go from there!

wikipedia is great for getting a basic first overview of the subject, and then u can look into specific stuff more in-depth elsewhere! don't be afraid of using non-english sources, you can auto-translate them and u can find extra tidbits there that english sources don't talk about! books are good + if u have university access to academic sources then looking on scholar or similar engines for articles can also be good :D that's about it!!
