Our outdoor upgrades continued yesterday with the return of the hardscaping master himself, Matt of Lehigh Valley Hardscaping. 💪🏼 This small retaining wall is for a driveway expansion project where an old ugly shed used to be. This was simple compared to his recent overhaul of our front sidewalk and last years’ new back patio upgrades. Who else had a productive Saturday yesterday!! Up at 4:45am to get to my buddies land and in one of his tree stands by 6am. Then back to Allentown to help a friend get a big ole pine down for lunch time. We enjoy the reward of meats and cheeses after a good sweatfest and to finally break my own fasted state. 😅🤤 It was a great workout dragging slash and staging it with the normal OCD-level limb stacking for the future chipper rental. #TIP Make yourself a Swamper in life vs the Lead Sawyer all of the time. Handing off the trigger reigns and passing on some sawyer coaching was a nice change. We finally helped our Calvie come to rest in his favorite park today. @calvinthecoonhound loved the trails at Jordan Creek Singletrack and even helped me create one out of an old deer trail years ago. So it was fitting to lay him to rest amongst the trees he howled at, along his trail he chased deer on, and in his creek he loved to soak up mother natures energy in. Our garage freezers are topped off with a beefy 1/2 steer restock! 🥩❤️ A refreshed smile on my face within 30 mins of me arriving home from a long week of business travels across Upstate New York. 🥰😁 Mrs. Graver from Graver Farmstead provided VIP delivery, bringing the freshly frozen grassfed beef straight from the pickup at the butcher partner right to our door. I love this local relationship for our family and now also for our friends families we’ve been able to help get connected.
