969 dogs have been rushed to the veterinarian because of symptoms such as seizures, vomiting, kidney failure, diarrhoea, and 234 have died after consuming Purina from parasites in their food, not just crawling in the packaged bags but also frozen in the actual food. Store owners are also having to throw out entire stocks of the brand due to mould.

No recalls have been issued and the brand has put out a statement saying the factories have 100000 quality checks daily.

I LOVE MY DOG

She makes me so happy like y’all have no idea. When I walk in and she barks she does this thing where she wags her tail so much she moves her butt and she also shows her teeth but in a smile type of way. She looks like a polar bear and when she grows her hair out she has the biggest eyebrows and mustache someone could have and ITS SO CUTE! Also when her hair grows out her paws look like grinch feet which I find extremely hilarious. She also judges me and watches me from afar, always plotting and planning smth but SHE SO CUTE!! Since it’s the holidays she’s starting to wear sweaters so when we take her on walks she has to wear a coat or sweater at least. She has this reindeer one THATS TOO BIG FOR HER SO ITS KINDA LIKE A DRESS AND SHE LOOKS LIKE A SNUG BUG IN A RUG!!! She also does this thing when she lies down where she sticks her paw up on the wall or whatever she’s leaning against so her paw is leaning up against it. Pic for evidence.

Inktober 2022 - Day 21 - Bad Dog

OHHH. A TWO-WORD...ER.

This is Tye and Inca, my previous dogs. Tye (in the back) was a very good boy. Gentle, cheerful, adoring and quick to learn if a little neurotic and had some minor abandonment issues. He just wanted to be with us all the time (ok maybe he'd roll in fox poo and was an enemy to wild rabbits, but we can't all be perfect).

The there is Inca.

Inca was a menace to society.

Any training we tried, she'd ace through to get her treats, then Houdini though her collar and run off to do all the naughty things she knew she wasn't allowed to do.

What's more; she had a real knack for getting OTHER dogs to join in her mischief. There were dogs who'd never put a paw wrong who'd suddenly join Inca in trespassing into gardens to wade in ponds, stealing food, eating and playing with very smelly dead things; you name it.

Tye and Inca never met, but if they had, you know they'd been up to SO much trouble.

Eventually we will rescue another dog, but we're waiting for the right moment, so we can give a good (or bad) dog a great home.

Back at it with dogs because I love them. Could I please get some headcanons with Harry? He gets a support pup during his treatment and the pup really helps. They end up having a kind of turner and hooch situation when he starts work up again. They are just a pair of stinky, drooly, big Bois (heh get it) doing and solving crime.

I love this idea so much anon you have no idea. It's so cute!!!! Also sorry for the late reply I got distracted and went fishing.

Harrier du Bois: 

Harry having a support dog was actually Jean’s idea. He was angry with Harry at first, of course, but as time went on, he saw how post-mart Harry had changed, and wanted him to have someone who wasn’t Kim around to help him. So he suggested Harry get a dog. 

Harry had completely forgotten the concept of an ESA, and is delighted to re-discover it. Of course, at first he’s hesitant to get an animal, seeing as he struggles to take care of himself sometimes, but he gives in. He gets the biggest, saddest dog he sees, and is in love instantly. 

The dog frequently reminds him to do his routine: shower, eat, go for a walk, etc. He/she also helps to ground Harry when he’s in his own head. 

Once Harry joins the RCM again, he brings in the dog as his unofficial second partner, and He, Kim, and the dog go racing around crime scenes like no ones business. 

The dog is also great for dealing with children - if he/she sees any child experiencing distress, it’ll plop down in their lap and let them pet it. 

Harry shares all his (safe) food with the dog, much to Kim’s dismay, because now it begs Kim for food (he also gives the dog food, but much more secretly). 

The dog is the official mascot of the C-Wing, and people come from other parts of the building just to put him/her.
