Luka rubbed his head against Kagami’s door, trying to shed the scales he’d grown since becoming a permanent Holder of the Snake Miraculous. This is so embarrassing.

Kagami was sitting in seiza on her bed, watching the flakes of skin drop to the floor like so much shredded paper. She sipped her green tea. “Shedding again?”

“Yeah, six times a year.” Luka sighed. “And before you ask, no, I’m not hungry.”

“Are you sure?” Kagami set her tea aside on the nightstand. “You’re starting to worry me.”

Luka shrugged and scratched his head, trying not to pick at the itchy skin on his scalp. He wouldn’t bleed, but he didn’t want to make Kagami’s room any dirtier than it had to be. “Snakes only need thirty meals a year.”

Kagami’s lips twisted in a moue of disappointment. “If you’re sure.”

“Trust me. I’ll literally explode if I eat too much.”

Kagami’s eyes widened, and Luka winced. “Sorry,” he said. “That’s one of the more disturbing aspects of being a Snake Holder. You didn’t need to know that.”

Kagami shook her head. She stood from her cross-legged position and approached him, placing a gentle hand on his cheek. “I want to know these sorts of things so I can help you.” She brushed her lips on his other cheek and pulled back with a smile and a wrinkled nose. “Even if it is a little gross.”

Luka laughed. “I’m gross, huh?”

“My poor, gross boyfriend,” Kagami deadpanned, but her eyes were filled with a teasing glint. Then she rubbed his arms. “Are you cold?”

Luka nodded. “Always.”

Kagami took his hand and drew him over to her kotatsu: a blanket covered table with a heater underneath. “Come sit with me. We can play cards and warm you up.”

“Won’t you be too hot using the kotatsu in the summer?”

Kagami shook her head and kissed his cheek again. “Worth it. I don’t want you to be cold.” Then that teasing glint was back. “Besides, aren’t I rumored to be cold-blooded myself?”

Luka scoffed. “Only for people who don’t know you.”

Kagami booped his nose. “Then that can be our little secret.”

Luka caught her hand and brought her wrist up to his lips for a brief kiss. “I’ll gladly share secrets with you, Kagami.”

And Kagami smiled.

Day 1 (Concert) + Day 13 (Photoshoot) - Lukagami Week + Month

Luka Couffaine, the rising rockstar from France who's currently on a world tour has been spotted with a woman after his concert. Our reporter had only managed to get one picture of them before getting chase by the bodyguards and surprisingly the mysterious woman. The woman herself seems to be an East Asian descent and is spotted wearing the exclusive scarf from the Dupain-Cheng's brand that only be given by close relationship. Whether Luka himself given the scarf towards the mysterious woman or the woman herself has close contact with the Dupain-Cheng's, it's clear in this picture that this rising rockstar's heart has been captured by this mysterious woman.

A/n: Since Lukagami Week is beginning, I decided to combine both prompt from the Week and Month so I hit two birds with one stone. So this is definitely going to be extra challenging. Man it's quite a while since I draw these two that I almost forgot how to draw exactly like them.

This wasn’t what he had expected, Luka thought as he looked at the woman who would soon be his wife. It was funny the way that life threw you curveballs. He smiled at her from his position on the couch from where he had been playing, when she swirled in, dark hair swinging, and plucked his guitar from his lap. She’d walked across the room, setting it reverently in its stand, before turning and walking back to him. 

When he’d met her, Kagami had been a stiff and sheltered 14-year-old, unsure how to navigate in the world. In the almost 10 years since then, she had blossomed. Never lacking in confidence, she’d softened her approach, and now had a whole group of close friends, a few of whom they were supposed to be meeting in a few hours.

Luka started to stand as Kagami approached the couch but, with a hand on his shoulder, she pressed him back down with the observation that he was too tall when he stood. She grinned at him and straddled his lap, pinning him in place with a glance, before popping open the top two buttons on his shirt. Brushing the shirt aside, she peppered kisses along his collarbone as he groaned and shifted under her.

One of the many things that he loved about Kagami was that she wasn’t afraid to say what she wanted. It was this similarity that opened the doors on their initial conversation, and her unwavering honesty had kept him intrigued as their friendship had grown into something deeper. 

Pushing the collar of his shirt away from Luka’s neck, Kagami’s mouth continued to trail little kisses up to where his shoulder met his neck, nipping a couple of little bites there, before running her tongue over the spot to soothe it. Her mouth trailed up his neck to his well-defined jawline, and Luka was suddenly very thankful that he had shaved earlier.
