After remember that Whumpril 2024 (organized by @whumpril) was well into its run this month, I scrolled through this year’s prompts and landed on for this day. Coincidentally, it lined up nicely with an angsty idea that’s been knocking around in my mind for a while. So I caved and wrote this. Please be mindful of the warnings in the tags while you’re at it; it’s pretty heavy. 

So anyway there isn’t enough discussion centered around how horrifying carbon-freezing is even as a concept. Luckily, I’m here to change that.
