According to TheWrap, What We Do in the Shadows’ Taika Waititi is in talks to direct Thor: Ragnarok for Marvel, which has a release planned for October 25th, 2017. No other details are available at the moment, but Waititi allegedly beat out Zombieland’s Ruben Fleischer for the role.

NETFLIX’S “LUKE CAGE” ADDS ROSARIO DAWSON & THEO ROSSI

Dawson will travel to “Luke Cage” after appearing in both “Daredevil” and “Jessica Jones,” the two Netflix series preceding “Luke Cage.” This is part of Dawson’s overall Marvel contract, which has positioned Claire Temple as potentially the connective tissue for Netflix’s four Marvel shows (it has yet to be announced if Dawson will appear on the fourth series, “Iron Fist”). Temple’s involvement on “Cage” seems a natural fit considering that the character originally appeared in the comics as Luke Cage’s love interest.

Rossi played Juice Ortiz on FX’s “Sons of Anarchy” from 2008 to 2014. Deadline’s report states that Rossi’s character is “smooth and manipulative, street smart and controlling.” Deadline’s inside source believes that Rossi will be playing a villain on the show, Shades. In the comics, Shades and his partner Comanche were Cage’s fellow inmates; upon getting out of jail, Shades donned a special visor that emitted powerful blasts.

“Luke Cage’s” cast continues to grow; Alfre Woodard joined the show in August in an unspecified, possibly villainous role. Cheo Hodari Coker (“Southland,” “Ray Donovan”) will serve as showrunner for the series.

Captain America & Iron Man’s teams revealed in official Civil War promo art [x]

Marvel have remained tight lipped concerning which Avengers will be siding with Captain America and which will be with Iron Man, with a lot of rumor surfacing the internet in the previous weeks. But there’s no need to speculate no more, as Marvel Studios just released the official promo art for Captain America: Civil War.

Besides revealing new looks for some of the heroes, the four images (one of which we’ve seen before) above place War Machine, Black Widow, Black Panther and Vision on team Stark with Bucky Barnes, Sam Wilson, Hawkeye, Ant-Man and the (surprise?) addition addition of Sharon Carter on team Cap. As of yet there’s no word on the likes of Spider-Man, Scarlet Witch or even Bruce Banner (who’s rumoured to be involved in the project). What are your thoughts on the confirmed sides and where do you think the other heroes’ allegiance will lie?

Madame Masque to be Agent Carter Season 2 Villain (x)

I think we’ve changed the look of her a bit obviously. We’ve made her an actress, which is very Hedy Lamar. She was a ‘40s siren actress who was also a scientific genius, so that’s part of what we’re mining with this character.

Also from that interview:

They have cast Madame Masque, but they’re not allowed to announce it yet.

Lyndsy Fonseca is not a season regular, but they are working on getting her involved (actor availability is an issue).

 Peggy will have moved on from Steve and will be looking to move forward in her life.

Heroic Hollywood’s El Mayimbe was a guest co-host on Meet The Movie Press and was dropping some scoops on the show, on the show it was revealed by the other co-host from Schmoes Know that indeed Emily Blunt has been cast as Captain Marvel. Stating they’ve heard it’s a “done-deal”, while in the same breath stating it was only “speculation”.
