idk how exactly to implement this, but there should be a DND mechanic that has characters rolling different dice with the same average roll number like in the new mario party.
Like Vesald the Hedge Wizard rolls a normal d20, but Throop the Rogue rolls a d20 made of half 1s and half 20s, and Arrabell the Druid's d20 is all 10.5s

it really is crazy how women abusing men is still regularly (if "jokingly") viewed as a positive thing. like literally today i was talking to someone about having watched both misery & sunset boulevard in a film class & both of those being about men being abused by women & the person's response was smth like. haha yeah that's so empowering. like obviously these are fictional characters but y'all realize that treating individual human men like poppets to punish Mankind for it's Sins is fucked up and evil yeah. also this directly translates into how trans men are treated as free punching bags for people to take out their anger at more powerful cis men. idk call me crazy but i feel like if you can't hear about men being abused by women without making a "joke" about it maybe you just have a deep problem you need to work on

I hate that talking about the issues that transmascs face tends to get you thrown into the 'anti-feminist men's rights activist who doesn't think misogyny is real' group.
Actually, I hate that even acknowledging that men can even face specific issues due to the reinforcement of gender roles can get you thrown into the same boat as the guys screeching about how women are obligated to serve them.

You know. Androphobia. That word that describes a specific phobia of men that is often spurred on by trauma and doesn't really imply anything about systemic discrimination at all.Or it didn't until people purposefully erased the "trans" part of the word to make a weak ass argument against it.
pretty sure this is why there are way more bi(3:1)/pan(6:1)/ace(2:1) women then men btw
Something to be said for the fact that transmascs wanted to talk about the erasure of their identity and existence, made a word for it, called it "transandrophobia", and people immediately jumped right off the bat to argue this was a totally illegitimate concept because if you removed the prefix "trans" from it, you'd get "androphobia," which would imply men are oppressed.

I feel it's also important to point out that it would be bad to be exclusionary towards men even if queer people weren't catching strays. Misandry is bad on it's own and the fact that it often hits various queer people makes it worse, but even if it didn't it's still bad
tried to vent in a trans space about how, as a trans man who’s been on T for a long time (over 7 years now), i have noticed that the more i pass as a man, the less welcomed i am in queer spaces unless i go out of my way to feminize myself. and how that sucks! and it’s isolating!!! and it feels horrible to see ppl who used to like you and be close to you drift further and further the more masculine (& therefore more comfortable in urself) u become…
only to get ppl replying to me and saying “well if you dressed more fem then ppl wouldn’t be intimidated by you. you signed up for this”
i’m sorry but i didnt sign up for social isolation when i transitioned, i signed up for gender euphoria and comfort in myself and my life. and i had hoped that the ppl in my life would be able to see how much joy that brings me and continue to love me.

I don't read it as the end of a redemption arc, but more of a subversion of redemption arcs by cutting it tragically short to emphasize the random horror of the endbringers (especially bc that one was abt to die) I don't think it was the completion of the redemption arc, but would have been an important part of it in a kinder world.
(Like if this were a kids/YA show Alec would have been spending the rest of the episode complaining about "Why did I do that" and be all crabby that the party infected him with morals or whatever and made him want to help people)
survey because i see some people read him sacrificing himself as being intentionally written as part of a redemption arc (& saw another one explaining they read it that way and why they dislike it just now which reminded me ive been wondering about it) but i did not read it that way & im curious what most people think. also elaborate in rbs or replies on your overall feelings about it (is it written well how is it written etc) if you want please. data for me

My religious HS had a class called "Salvation History" so a bunch of 15-16 year olds were wandering around school saying "I have salvation after lunch/have you had salvation yet?" And "Shit I forgot my salvation homework" or "Ugh I hate salvation"
taking a class on sex this semester which has resulted in many fun things like "sex activity" and "sex final" being added to my planner. being very mature and serious about this .

Reblogging for Asexuality Day!
My favorite analogy about being asexual
"Wait, you're ace and still have a libido? How does that work?"
Me: Right, so you know when you're hungry, so you go to the fridge to find something to eat, but nothing looks good in the fridge, so you go to the pantry, but nothing looks good in the pantry either, and you're like: "maybe there's something good on the counter," but nothing looks good there either, so you're kinda just standing there, and you're still hungry, but there's nothing to direct that feeling towards? It works like that. I still feel the horny, there's just nowhere to direct it.

I think that if I knew the actual Power Word: Kill, I'd just write it on random places. You know, on billboards or t-shirts or
