I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I think we need to manage our expectations about getting a teaser on the 15th. I was a little quick to jump the gun myself, but after doing some research it sounds like the Netflix Upfronts are an event for the advertisers only.

Best jiara scene in the whole damn series so far let’s wait until season 4 to declare it 👀 but the chemistry is so insane you can feel it exploding through the screen but I’m still wondering why they cut the part where JJ was touching her bracelet and how that fit into the scene?? Could not agree with you more anon. I don’t think anything could ever top this scene for me. Not even the kiss! It’s just pure perfection at every angle.

The location? Stunning.

The lighting? Excellent (See Pates? It’s not that hard 🤡)

The acting? Immaculate.

The honesty and vulnerability between them? So gratifying.

The anticipation of the almost kiss as they both slowly move in? Breathtaking.

The way Rudy was able to transition so seamlessly from I’ve never wanted anything more in my entire life to what are we doing? What am I doing? I can’t have this. I don’t deserve you. I have nothing to offer. I’m nothing is some of the best acting I’ve seen on this show. It’s on par with his hot tub performance from S1 – and boy is that saying something!

As far as the bracelet touch goes, JJ absolutely could have been subconsciously reaching out to her hand in this shot and we just didn’t get to see it. But we also know there was a cut kiss from this scene 👀 so maybe that’s where the bracelet touch came into play.

That little action would have added an extra sprinkle of emotion and longing from JJ just to sweeten the deal, but honestly I have zero complaints!

Best scene of the entire series. Hands down.

I just realized the only leak we got of jiara acting like a couple was them holding hands on the pier the rest has just been Jarah 😭

True. But to put this into perspective for you there hasn’t been a single bit of bts of Pope and Cleo acting like a couple, so we should count our blessings for what we DO have of Jiara – which is pretty terrific imo! (Let’s not forget boyfriend JJ backing up Kie while she confronts her parents after El Dorado!)

This kind of thing really doesn’t worry me. There’s lots of reasons why we haven’t seen much couple jiara bts. A lot of those relationship moments could be filmed inside behind closed doors. And we know how strict they’ve been about observers recording on set. There’s going to be lots of stuff we just haven’t seen yet.

JJ and Kie missing from multiple group settings with the other pogues is honestly a very good sign! Probably means they’re off doing their own thing together.

I know the lack of couple-y interactions in the bts is disappointing, but that just means the surprise of it all will be that much sweeter when the season airs 😉
