In the third part of our Iceland Series, we explored the magnificent and lesser explored Highlands known as Landmannalaugar. The stunningly beautiful regions is a volcanic region. Popular for its rhyolite mountains, a type of rock that creates a full spectrum of dazzling colors. We hiked Mt Bláhnjúkur and it was one of the highlights of our Iceland Trip. So sit back and enjoy this beautiful region :)

We spent half a day in Devils Tower National Monument, Wyoming. This place is a popular tourist attraction and a rock climbing destination as well. Known as Mato Tipila by the Lakota people, this is a sacred place.
📍There are 5 trails inside the National Monument, the most popular being the Tower Trail, a short 1.5 mile paved trail around the Devils Tower with views of prairies as well.
📍There is plenty of parking but is super crowded so would suggest to go early
📍Devils Tower is also very popular for star gazing, there are campgrounds situated near the park entrance and can be an ideal stay for stargazing.
