Random Headcannons PlayStation Move Heroes Edition

Caffeine:

Soda: They all would probably drink the Sprite from McDonalds like water if the franchise exists in their dimensions. Otherwise, they all enjoy Dr. Pepper the most.

Monster: Jak drinks this in moderation, but keeps Daxter from drinking it as much as he can. Ratchet sips this of coffee isn’t available and Clank doesn’t mess with it at all. Sly drinks this only when he needs to stay awake. Murray drinks it like water before a workout. Bentley stays away from it due to his anxiety.

Coffee: Sly has fancy ass mixes of this. Definitely has a mile long of additives to his cup at Starbucks. Bentley definitely carries this in a thermal cup when he’s not in the safe house, has a favoring to Carmel macchiatos. Murray drinks it in the mornings or at least whatever his morning is. Ratchet worships the beans and either has it darker than a black hole or with so much creamer it’s whiter than milk, Clank does have a sip every now and then. Jak will drink on occasion. Daxter inhales it like cocaine but can’t drink a full cup unless he wants to actually be bouncing off the walls.

RedBull: Daxter drinks this. He has to take it in small doses but he drinks it. Jak only buys it. He doesn’t touch it. Ratchet used to drink it but stopped. Clank doesn’t touch it. Sly does on blue moons. Murray has a small stash for when he’s out of Monster, and Bentley doesn’t touch it either.

Tea: Clank is pretty much growing and brewing this every day. Sly will drink on occasions. Everyone else drinks it only when no other source of caffeine is available.

Food types:

Spicy: All enjoy some mild spice. Jak and Ratchet enjoy the more spicier dishes.

Sweet: Murray, Sly, Bentley, Daxter, and Ratchet have some form of sweet tooth. Clank and Jak do enjoy some sweets on occasion.

Sour: Jak enjoys sours almost until his mouth bleeds from the acids. Something about it reminds him of some of the berries back in the Forbidden Forest outside of Sandover. Everyone else has a more mild enjoyment of sour candies.

Pizza: Ratchet canonically enjoys the hell out of good pizza as long as the box doesn’t have more flavor than it. Clank tries to get him to have pineapple on it every now and then and it ends with a small robot trying to pry a hissing and yowling Lombax off the top of the fridge. Sly, Bentley, and Murray order this when they can’t figure out what else to eat. Daxter enjoys it, Jak is still getting used to the idea of eating more foods than the rations either when he was in prison or during all the fighting after he got out.

Chinese take out: Cannonically been eaten by the Cooper Gang, Ratchet eats this when there’s no Pizza, and Jak and Daxter probably have some form of variation of this where their franchise is inspired by a vast plethora of anime/manga.

Mexican foods: Cooper Gang enjoys the hell out of this pretty much only when they visit Mexico and on occasion in Texas. Everywhere else just tastes different. Ratchet only eats tacos when he’s in the mood. Jak and Daxter have no fucking idea what the hell a taco is outside of the slang term so probably best not to ask them if they want one if one wants to avoid weird/immature looks from those two.

Sleep Patterns:

Morning people: Only Clank and sometimes Bentley are morning risers.

Afternoon: Ratchet, and on some occasions Sly and Murray are definitely past 1pm risers.

Evening: Sly and Murray are probably the most nocturnal. Bentley is sort of nocturnal but he’s usually the first one up of those three.

Sleep is for the weak, we die like men: Jak and Daxter have the shittiest sleep patterns. Those two will pass out just before they reach the fatal limit of no sleep and they’ll more often than not end up sleeping an entire day away.

Sleep quantity/positions:

Wake up with a stretch and a smile on their faces: Bently and Clank are probably the only ones who do this.

Hits Snooze once: Sly more than likely does this. Sleep is nice and sometimes he wants a few moments to wake up in the snug warmth of the bed.

Smashes the snooze button like no tomorrow: Ratchet and Murray do this every day.

Fuckin Dead until they wake up: Like with their sleeping pattern: Jak and Daxter. Again. Sometimes these two sleep a whole ass day before they wake up and go on a few day binge of no sleep.

Back sleepers: Murray and sometimes Ratchet, Daxter and Sly. It does make the two of them snore on occasions. They sometimes even enjoy sunbathing. Ratchet, Daxter, and Sly more so since they have fur.

Side sleepers: Jak can’t sleep on his back or stomach anymore. Not after the Dark Warrior project. He even sleeps with his back to some form of barrier half the time almost as if his subconscious expects an attack. Ratchet,Sly, and Daxter will sleep like this only when they’re lazing about or deep asleep and they happen to shift over to a side.

Stomach: Mostly Daxter when he ends up passing out. Everyone else doesn’t really sleep well in this position.

Etc: Bently sleeps in his shell 9 times out of 10. The 1 out of 10 he’s passed out on the keyboard of his laptop at a desk or table. Clank sleeps/recharges in his backpack form usually on a shelf or in Ratchet’s arms. And they all enjoy a sleep pile with Murray pretty much being the center. Him and Jak are like walking heaters sometimes and they make the slight discomfort of some limbs and tails getting tangled worth the comfort of other living beings being relaxed enough to sleep near them.

Sexuality/Romantic interests (Apologizes if this is a little too narrow. I’m personally not 100% familiar with all the sexualities and romantic preferences so I’m going only with what I know.):

Heterosexual: Daxter’s probably the only one who’s really straight but he’s comfortable with his sexuality to crack jokes about a good looking man.

Heteromantic: Technically the only one who’s not cannonically Heteromantic is Murray but let’s be honest in today’s world everyone isn’t exactly straight except Daxter.

Gay: Murray is gay. Or at least gay questioning.

Homoromatic: This is a tough one. Murray may be the only one really more interested in exclusively romantically involved with the same gender.

Bisexual: Sly is definitely Bi. This little shit will flirt with men and women alike. Jak may at least be Bi questioning.

Biromantic:Sly, Including his bisexuality he would defs date both the genders he identifies if his partner was his type.

Pansexual: Ratchet has canonically wanted to see the help desk Robot and something tells me he would have had some gay panic if the help bot had a more masculine build. This little shit is Pan: try to change my mind.

Panromantic: Ratchet probably. He might be awkward about it but he’d try the dating thing.

Asexual: Clank. He has no interest in sexual relationships.

Aromantic: Bentley if taking the Penelope breakup angle. Jak’s more likely here more because he’s still somewhat more independent of himself. He’s more likely to just have either one night stands or friends with benefits because he’s both too socially awkward and mentally and emotionally unstable (Thank you Baron Praxis and the fuckin prison).

Driving:

Safe drivers: Sly, Clank, and Bentley if the car isn’t a stick. If it is a stick for Bentley, he’s still a little rusty on it.

Lead foots: Ratchet, Jak and Murray. These three are fucking adrenaline junkies if they’re driving fuckin buckle your seatbelts, and pray to your god that you make it to your destination with some sanity but knowing how well these three drive you’ll more than likely only have some gray hairs after the ride.

GOD HAS LEFT THE CHAT PUT YOUR HEAD BETWEEN YOUR LEGS AND KISS YOUR ASS GOODBYE: Daxter. He doesn’t know how to drive and he’s small as hell. He’d need some way of reaching the gas pedal and he all but ignores the brakes and any traffic laws. Make peace with your god if he’s driving because you may or may not live to see the next sunrise/sunset.

Types of Pets:

Cats: All of them sometimes enjoy the company of cats. Ratchet more or less so due to the fact that he either ends up with so many cats thinking he’s one of them or a hostile and also due to the fact that several of his enemies mistake him for one. Also those with tails need to keep in mind that they may get bitten or clawed especially around playful kittens.

Dogs: Jak is really the only one who has sort of owned a dog. The rest of them are sort of comfortable as well but those with tails do try to keep them from wagging too much as to either avoid getting bitten or exciting the canine too much.

Birds: As long as it isn’t a big ass owl the Cooper gang is more or less indifferent to birds. Jak and Daxter have a history with a bird hybrid so seeing a regular ass bird is confusing to them much with any animal that isn’t a hybrid. Ratchet and Clank do enjoy feeding avians from time to time if they have nothing better to do.

Snakes: They all find them cool except for Daxter. He doesn’t care much for snakes.

Lizards: Jak loves finding the smaller lizards and just messing with them for a little bit. Ratchet mostly puts them outside if one gets indoors. Everyone else mostly ignores them.

Spiders: NOPE. None of them like spiders. Daxter and the Cooper Gang the most. Jak stomps on em, Clank has had to stop Ratchet from firing a RYNO at one at one point but he did hand the Lombax his wrench for a giant ass spider one time in their home. There is a hole in the wall from the one time Murray punched the wall where a spider once was and now the Cooper gang bug bombs the safe house for spiders when they’ve seen one every day for an entire week.

Any other kind of bug: Jak had an insect collection when he was younger and he’d definitely at least try to start a new one when he has the time. Probably not keen on having metal bugs or and kind of bee in the collection but everything is is fair game. Everyone else is more or less indifferent to bugs.

Weather preferences:

Rainy days: Nap days for all of them. The one exception to Jak and Daxter’s shit sleep schedule is they will sometimes nap on rainy days.

Sunny: As long as it isn’t fuckin desert heat they all enjoy it. Ratchet, Sly, Jak, and Daxter hate desert heat out of all the rest of them. Something about sand and hating it from time to time.

Snow: Fuckin snowball free for all fight if all of them catch this kind of weather. It’s one of the rare weather types that actually has Jak laughing and smiling like he used to back when he was younger. Only ones who doesn’t stay out for long is Ratchet, Daxter, and Bentley. Lombaxes and Ottsels don’t exactly have thick fur or skin but they will put on some layers to keep warm for a few hours but where Bentley’s a turtle he does have to make sure his blood temperature doesn’t get too cold. Jak used to fuckin run through snow with almost no shoes on back when he was 15 so he’s definitely out in the snow with just the clothes on his back. Sly and Murray have thick enough fur/skin that the cold doesn’t really bother them.

Music Tastes:

Classical: Clank. He’s pretty much the only one who really enjoys this genre. Everyone else is too chaotic.

Alternative Rock: Ratchet, Sly, Jak and Daxter enjoy this genre the most. Green Day, Wheezer, and some Florence and the Machine are just to name a few of their favorites.

Indie: Bentley, Sly, Ratchet and Jak enjoy this one as well. Jak and Ratchet are more specific with artists but they enjoy it.

Heavy Metal: Murray listens to the DOOM 2016 and DOOM Eternal sound tracks when he works out, showers, and to fall asleep to. He also enjoys some Metallica, Disturbed, Five Finger Death Punch and Nine Inch Nails.

Pop: Only some songs and artists. Depends on everyone’s moods.

Emo: Sly enjoys his dimension’s equivalent of MCR and other similar bands. Hell he even had an emo phase at one point. Everyone else enjoys the genre it from time to time except for Clank. The poor robot doesn’t understand why his Lombax partner sings about teenagers scaring the living shit out of him sometimes.

Rap: Like pop, depends on the mood and the artists and songs.

Jazz: Ratchet, Clank, Sly, Bentley and Murray. Jak and Daxter are really the only two too chaotic for any calming music.

Cereal making:

Cereal before the milk: Ratchet, Sly, Murray, Bentley and Jak.

Milk before cereal: Daxter even though Jak has had several existential crises after the little shit does this, and Clank did this one time. He and Ratchet argued about it long enough to where the cereal was pretty much stale in the milk. The robot now only does this when Ratchet isn’t looking.

Character builds and playing style in Skyrim:

Sneaky Thieving Archer: Oddly enough, the only one who doesn’t do this is Sly. Something about how that’s already his job and he did that back in mid-evil England.

Magician: Bentley and Clank. By the time they fight the final boss they know every single spell and every single shout in the entire fucking game.

Heavy armor and two handed weapon or one handed weapon and a shield: Jak, Murray and on some occasions Ratchet.

Light armor and two handed weapons: This is Sly’s sneaky build he now wants to see if Bentley will make the ice hook alteration to his cane more combat worthy after this. The turtle has to keep refusing, Ratchet and Daxter do this build more often as well.

Fuck the separate builds I got a character that does everything: All of them. They at least have one character that has everything and is level 9999 thanks to mods.

Main story first, then side missions: Clank, Bently and Daxter did this on their first play through.

Fuck the main story, I’m gonna go do a shit ton of side quests and come back to one hit some dragons: Murray, Sly, Jak, and Ratchet do this since their first play through. Clank, Bentley, and Daxter do this since their first play through.

Hail Sithis AKA Joined the Dark Brotherhood: Pretty much everyone but Clank and Bently do this with every single character...almost as soon as they finish making their character… it’s a little worrying sometimes.

Joined the Thieves Guild: All of them do this. Yes even Clank saw the benefits of occasionally sneaking into someone’s house and stealing everything. I mean if you tell someone to not steal they’re gonna try to do it anyways. That and the economy in Skyrim is bad enough that the only way to earn gold fast is by lightening everyone else’s pockets. And yes even Sly broke down and joined the guild as well. One time he emptied his inventory of all the gemstones he stole in the game in the room turned safe in the guild hideout and the game lagged so much it almost crashed.

Joined the Champions: Only Murray and Jak really went through the entire quest line of the Champions Guild but only once before they went with mods to get the axe.

Mage’s College: Bentley and Clank did this to learn all the spells, Everyone else did this just to be able to steal all the books from the library to sell to the fence later.

Became a Vampire: Everyone did this at least once. Sly, Jak, and Ratchet oddly enjoy the Vampire Questline over DawnGuard.

Joined and stayed with the DawnGuard: Again, Everyone did this at least once. To no one’s surprise: Bently and Clank defend the DawnGuard side more for some weird reason.

Joined the Imperials: None of them. Jak said it best: “Why the fuck would I join the side that tried to chop off my head at the start of the game? That would be like if I went to join the Krimson Guard after I got out of prison and I’m dumb but I’m not that fucking stupid.”

Joined the Stormcloaks: Ratchet said it best here: “Ulfric may be a racist asshole but if he goes out of line I can shout him to even more pieces than he did to the last High King of Skyrim.”

Has a Kajiit character: Everyone has one. Ratchet even made his Kajiit look as close to himself as he could for shits and giggles. It’s his most played character.

Has any of the other races: Sly has an Osmir and a Nord, Bently and Clank both have a Breton, Imperial, and a High Elf. Murray has Osmir and an Argonian. Jak has a Dark, High, and Wood elf and an Argonian, but he plays the Wood Elf and Argonian the most. Daxter just has the Kajiit and Argonian oddly enough he chooses not to use any other race.

Favorite Sleeve lengths/ hand and arm accessories:

Long sleeves: Depends on the weather but the ones most likely to wear long sleeves are Sly, Ratchet, and Jak.

Half or quarter sleeves: Sly will wear this year round.

T-Shirt sleeves: Ratchet, Murray, Bentley, and on some occasions Daxter will wear this length.

Tank top/wife beater: Murray and if wearing a jacket over it, Jak, Ratchet, and Sly.

Arm warmers: Murray, Jak, Ratchet, and Sly will wear these in cooler weather with any shirt that either has short or no sleeves.

Fingerless gloves: Murray, Daxter and Jak. Sly only in warmer weather and when he knows finger prints aren’t a problem. And Ratchet during really hot days when he has to work.

Full gloves: Ratchet when the weather isn’t too hot and Sly when he knows fingerprints will be a problem.

No gloves: All of them especially for those that do wear gloves, they go with this option when it’s too hot to wear more than one layer of clothing.

Alright that’s all I can think of before I pass tf out. If anybody wanna feed some ideas go ahead. I’ll throw it in a Part 2 if I come up with any more. Also pardon any inconsistencies. I will probably edit this when I’m more awake later.
