Archive Post: Idol High

Synopsis: Uh basically it’s the written version of a crazy dream series I had a while ago. I’m tired of not updating here but I also don’t have any requests so here we are 😀

"Hi are you interested in Korean culture and Kpop? Do you want to get to know the Idols you've come to love? This is the place for you! Fill out the application and see if you're qualified for what it takes to be an Idol!"

I quickly pull up the online application and fill it out. I have been into Korean culture for 8 years (it’s been over a decade now currently 😀) and it's time my knowledge be put to the test. I answer all of the requirements and send my application in hoping I'll get a response.

"Girrrrrrrrrrrlllllll, I'm LIVING!! This is our chance to meet our ultimate biases and if we're fortunate....marry them!" My best friends are on a Group FaceTime call screaming. "They specifically said they don't want Koreaboos and fangirling on campus. We'll have to work on it."

"Don't our acceptance letters come today if we get in? We already did our interviews so hopefully we all get in. I personally can't wait to see Mark."

The rest of us look at her. "We know Kayla, we know." The doorbell rings and I tell them to hold on. A Korean man was standing at the door with an envelope.

"Hello Ms.Diamond, you're formally invited to attend Idol High, your flight leaves in the morning. Your ticket is inside along with the itinerary for your first day and check in for your dorm room. 안녕히 가세요!"

Wowww I actually got in...

My friends and I arrive at the airport along with our luggage. "So do we order an Uber or...do they provide us transportation? Wait...I see a sign that says Idol High." We head towards the man holding the sign and he looks really familiar. "You girls attending Idol High?"

"MINHO?! I mean um yes we're attending Idol High. Ahaha..." He smiles and gestures for us to follow him. "Girrrrrllll we hit the jackpot!" "I know we are finally living like a kdrama!" "I wonder how the dorms work!"

"Ladies are you coming?" We stop whispering among ourselves and run after him.

We arrive on campus and it looks like we stepped into what looks like Boys Over Flowers and My Hero Academia had a baby. "Wowww we're going to live here?!" Minho chuckles a bit at our reactions. "Well yes of course. Your luggage will be taken to your room while you attend orientation. Well it was nice meeting you ladies, enjoy your time here."

We exit the limo and step foot on campus for the first time. As we enter the Admin office we are ushered to the orientation center and sat at a computer desk. "Welcome to Idol High, please insert your full legal name into the appropriate section."

"Welcome Mina to Idol High, you will now take a quiz to decide who your roommates will be. The dorms are co-Ed."

"Your results are in. You are best matched with BamBam of Got7 and YangYang of WayV. You can not be matched with your biases. Please head to your dorm to continue orientation."

Of course I wouldn't be paired with my biases...I knew it. I check to see that my friends are finished with their quizzes. "So who did you get?"

"Yugyeom and Hendery."

"Hwasa and Yuta"

"Wooyoung and Zuho"

"Wooseok and Shownu."

"Oh cool. Well I'm going to head to my dorm, I'll catch you later." I walk to my dorm and bump into someone. "Oh excuse me beautiful, are you okay?" I look up to see the man of my dreams( 🥴) Jackson Wang. "...um oh uh no but I'll be okay later...." He smiles and presses the elevator button. "Sooo do you like Got7?" The doors open and we walk inside. "Absolutely, that's my...favorite group...floor 7 please."

"Oh me too, what room are you in?" I look at my sheet and back at him. "4..." I'm so nervous I hope I'm not sweating. "I'm in 5, that's across the hall. I guess I'll be seeing you around. Can I see your schedule?" I pass him my paper and our hands touch slightly and I feel my stomach fill up with butterflies. Oh good god.

"We have the same morning classes, maybe we can walk to class together." He smiles as he hands me my paper back. "Oh okayyyyy, I wouldn't be opposed to that idea." The doors open and we step out together. "Oh I think our rooms are this way." I follow him and we find our dorms. "Well I'll let you get settled, maybe later we can go to the café together?" "Oh sure that sounds good. Just knock on my door ..."

I open my door and wave to him before closing it. If I stayed in his presence any longer I think I would've burst. "How am I going to control myself around him?" "Around who?" I jump because I know that voice all too well, BamBam.

"No one...hi I'm Mina." He shrugs and waves. "You already know who I am, Double B!" YangYang pops out his room and smiles. "Hi Mina, it's nice to meet you!"

"Awww you're so cute in person, it's nice to meet you too!" He blushes a bit as he smiles. "Well go settle in, we'll hang out later." I smile as I open the door labeled Mina and close it. I let out a breath of relief and see that my bags have been placed at the foot of the bed. I think I'll have a lot to get used to but I think I'm gonna like it here.

"Ewww come on Y/n/n are you serious?? Why do you like him??" Hyunjin is mortified that I like his older brother Jaebeom. "Well he's always been really nice to me, eventually I just started catching feelings." "Can't you drop them? This is so weird...I guess I can help you. You did get me with your friend Kaira so why not?" I hug him and he hugs me back. "Thank you Jinnie! You're the best!" He sighs. "Yeah I know."

I wake up in the middle of the night because I can't sleep. I look to see Hyunjin is still fast asleep on the floor so I tiptoe around him so I can go downstairs to get something to drink. I make my way into the kitchen and I look in the fridge for something to drink. I find some juice and I put it in the island. I try to reach for a cup when suddenly I feel a hand on my hips and someone reaching over me grabbing the cup for me. "Here you go cutie."

"Jaebeom?! What are you doing here?" I whisper shout holding my chest. He chuckles softly and hands me the cup. "I was too tired to drive to my place so I decided to crash here. I see you still have sleepovers with my little brother still, that's cute." I shrug. "Occasionally, you know he's my best friend. Kaira is around more often so I let them have their privacy." He nods leaning on the counter. "So you don't like him? I thought you did."

"No...I've always liked someone else." He raises his eyebrows in surprise. "진짜? Who? Do I know them?" I pour myself some juice and I take a sip. "Very well actually." I take a seat at the table in hopes of putting some distance between us. "Jinyoung?? Or maybe Mark?? They're popular but still single, I can set up a date if you want." He takes a seat at the table with me. "No not them... I like—" "Jackson?? Well I can't say I don't see why. I do warn you, he's very career focused." I sigh and shake my head. "No I just like you."

"...ohhhh well that makes sense. I do know myself really well." I just sip my juice while we sit in silence for awhile. "How long?" I raise an eyebrow. "How long have I liked you? Over a few years now..." He hums quietly, I don't take any offense to his responses because I know he's just taking it in. "So...you're in love with me." I almost choke on my drink. "Pardon?? In love with you?" He nods his head. "Well if it was just a crush it would've only lasted 3 months because you'd decide if it was worth it to still have feelings for me. It's past infatuation because it's been over a year, so I've concluded you're in love with me. It's okay because I've concluded I'm in love with you too."

"You are? Well then...what do we do about this information.?" He smiles softly and places his hand on mine. "There's only one thing to do, start dating. Are you free tonight?" I smile and nod. "Yeah I'm free. What do you have in mind?"

"So you two are dating now...I wish you the best. He's a piece of work and honestly only someone like you can put up with him. All the other girls leave." I raise an eyebrow. "Why is that?" Hyunjin shrugs catching popcorn in his mouth. "Uh because he's been so in love with you he can't really focus on anyone else. Getting over you was apparently impossible." "You knew he liked me?? Why didn't you tell me?"

"Well I thought it was obvious but I guess not. Anyways you two are together now so it worked out. How was the date?" I take some popcorn. "Really nice, karaoke was fun. Singing must only have been passed to him..."

"Really? Okay well I'm going to pretend you didn't just come for my karaoke skills."

"Hey Kaira do you think Hyunjin can sing?"

"Nah he sounds like a wet seal, I'm sorry baby."

"...the nerve of both of you! I sound beautiful!"

"Don't be nervous 자기, I'm sure they'll love you. Besides it's just lunch." He didn't tell me we had plans to have lunch with his members until this morning and I wish I had more time to prepare. "Well I don't want to make a bad first impression, I'm almost done anyways." I apply my lipgloss grabbing my purse as I look in the mirror making sure nothing is out of place. "You look beautiful as always baby so don't worry."

He takes my hand leading me out the door and into the unwelcoming cold weather. The light snow coming down makes me shiver. "We're not walking there right?" A driver pulls up with his car and opens the passenger door. "Of course not, it's too far and too cold." He takes the driver's place and we drive off.

We get to the restaurant and the entire group of Super Junior is there...including my bias Donghae. "Guys this is my girlfriend Y/n, you've been dying to meet her so here she is." They all raise an eyebrow. "Okay sugar daddy, she's a bit young for you isn't she? Maybe I should take her off your hands." Kyuhyun says smiling and Leeteuk rolls his eyes and it gets a laugh out of the others. "Come on it was a good joke, you are older than her am I right? What year are you Y/n씨?" " '94..." They all look at each other and burst out laughing. My boyfriend sighs shaking his head. "You're 11 years her senior??"

Leeteuk pulls out a chair and gestures for me to sit. "Don't worry about that, age is just a number anyways." I tense up learning my seat is across from Donghae. "Well she's really pretty and loves you so I think that's all that matters." Donghae says winking at me. Leeteuk clears his throat and sits next to me. "She does love me, 자기 order anything you want." He takes my coat off and places it on the back of my chair and does the same with his own. "So Y/n who's your bias? Or are you more into younger groups like Exo or BTS?"

I want to slightly roll my eyes hearing the last question because everyone always assumes I like BTS, I do but that's not the point. "Well before dating Leeteuk, it was Donghae. I do like some other groups but I like older men." Ryeowook spits out his water. "Wow you're really honest, I like her." Donghae says smiling making my cheeks feel hot.

Although out the lunch Donghae would talk to meet and ask me questions and laugh at my friendly jokes. Leeteuk on the other hand by the end of lunch was really touchy and seemingly ready to go. "Baby let's get out of here, I'm ready to go." I pout slightly not wanting to leave. "Aww but I'm having such a good time. Well it was lovely meeting all of you. I'm sure we'll have to have you guys over for dinner one day." Ryeowook raises an eyebrow. "You can cook Y/n??" I nod as Leeteuk helps me put on my coat. "Any Korean dishes or like American stuff?" Shindong asks rubbing his stomach.

"Didn't you just have lunch? Y/n makes Korean, Caribbean and American dishes really well. Anyways we have another thing to do today so we're going to head out first." I wave goodbye after my boyfriend drags me out the restaurant. "Hey hey what's up with you?? You're the one who asked me to come and now you're rushing me to leave." He looks at me and sighs. "Well you see I noticed how Donghae kept eyeing you the whole time and you two were laughing. It made me a little jealous." I didn't expect him to admit it. "Well open communication is key, that's why we talk things out. I'm glad you told me but you know I picked you for a reason. You're my baby."

He smirks pulling me closer to him. "No no I'm your daddy. Come give daddy some sugar baby." He leans down connecting our lips in a swift kiss but I pull him in closer deepening the kiss. I hear whistles coming from the restaurant and we pull apart. "Ayo you forgot to pay your bill! You owe me 375,000,000 ₩!!!" Yesung shouts from the door.

Babe🥰✨: Hey baby are you busy today? I wanted to pick you up and go somewhere ☺️

Y/n: I have a collab I have to record in the studio right now but afterwards we can get together. Stop by in like a couple hours okay?

Babe🥰✨: Okay sounds good 👌🏻

I scroll through my phone waiting for the artist who I'm supposed to be collaborating with to come into the studio. "Uh I apologize for being late love, my driver got lost on the way here" I look up to see Zayn Malik smiling at me and I return the smile. "Oh that's okay, I haven't been waiting long. Welcome to Korea!" I get up and hug him. "Thanks love, Gigi told me to give you her love and you should be getting something in the mail from her."

"Aww that's so sweet I'll have to call her later to catch up! So are you ready to make another hit together?"

Zayn and I walk out the building together to part ways. "Ah I'm so excited for this album to drop, anyways hopefully your stay here won't be too bad. Give Khai and Gigi hugs and kisses from me okay?" He gives me a hug and nods. "Of course, next time you're in NY hit us up okay?" A familiar car pulls up and rolls down the window. "Aye Jagi get in." I wave goodbye to Zayn before running and getting into my beloved's car.

"Hey baby how was your day?" He pecks me on the lips. "It was good...you got a guest behind you. Is that...Zayn?" I turn around smiling and I roll down my window. "Hey do you need a ride?" "Yeah do you mind? My driver is lost somewhere and I just really want to get back to my hotel and get a bite to eat." I turn to Seonghwa and he sighs. "Come on we'll give you a ride before we go out to eat." Zayn nods and gets in the back before Seonghwa pulls off.

"This is really nice 여보, you always find the nicest of restaurants." I smile at my boyfriend as he looks over the menu. "Of course, anything for you baby. Do you see anything you want?" I nod showing him something I saw on the menu. "I'm in between that and this steak dinner...how about we share and half it?" "Okay that works. Let's call over the waiter." I hit the little buzzer signaling the waiter to the table.

"Hi my name is Mark and I'll be your server this evening. What can I get the beautiful lady tonight?" He smiles almost flirtatiously but I brush it off. "I'll get the Lemon Butter Salmon with the roasted green beans and to drink I'd like a frozen margarita." Mark nods writing it down. "A good choice, I actually really enjoy the salmon I think you'd like it. If you get dessert I'd definitely get bingsu, it's my favorite and good for sharing." Seonghwa gives him a bored look. "Well I would like the steak and lobster dinner with a loaded baked potato."

"Uh huh I'll have that right out." He doesn't even look at my fuming boyfriend while he speaks. I can tell Seonghwa is getting annoyed. "Thank you." Mark smiles at me before running off to the kitchen. "I should report him to a manager, being all unprofessional and ignoring me." I nod putting my one of my hands on his. "I agree that was highly unprofessional...you wouldn't happen to be jealous would you?" He turns away but I can see his ears are red. "Of course not, why would I be jealous?" I shrug. "I don't know maybe because he was only talking to me. You told me before you don't like when guys only pay attention to me. He probably knows who I am, how many brown girls like me are running around making a name for themselves in the music industry here? Not many and I just happen to be very popular mostly because I'm with AOMG."

"I know...he probably is a fan of yours. Alright I'll let it slide just for you."

"Wow I'm so glad we split dinner, that was sooo good. Ah do you want dessert? I was thinking going by the street food market so we can walk around some." Seonghwa holds my hand as he drives. "Well I was going to take you back to my place because I have something set up for you." I raise an eyebrow. "Does it involve mochi ice cream?" He chuckles and squeezes my hand. "Of course I always keep that in stock just for you." I nod in agreement. "Okay I'll go home with you."

He places a blindfold loosely around my eyes. "Okay don't peek..." "I'm not peeking...wait why is Jay here?" "How did you know he was here?" I shrug. "He has a distinct smell, he uses a different cologne than you and I smell it. Simon is here too." There's a silence for a moment. "Huh I don't know how I feel about you knowing their scents but...you can take off your blindfold now baby." I take it off to see Seonghwa's living room decorated in hearts and roses. Simon was holding a cake with mochi on the top and words that say Happy Anniversary. Jay is holding a bouquet of my favorite flowers smiling.

"Wow omg...wait um Seonghwa our anniversary isn't until Sunday. My gift for you is back at my house..." He hugs me. "I know but I wanted to do something before. Do you like the cake?" I nod and I kiss him on his cheek. "Can I have a mochi off the top?" He chuckles and nods. "Go ahead baby." I happily take the one in the center and when I bite into it my teeth hit something hard. "Owww...huh what's this?" Jay and Simon look at each other. I look to see my teeth hit a rather big diamond ring.

My heart drops into my stomach as I piece everything together. I look at Seonghwa who is now down on one knee smiling up at me. "자기야 I love you, you're my best friend and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. 3 years isn't enough, I want to have forever. So will you do me the honor of marrying me?" I nod wiping tears. "Yes of course I'll marry you!!" He takes the ring out of the mochi and cleans it off before sliding it on my left ring finger.

Bonus ending:

"Congratulations Y/n! I'm so happy for you!" Jay hugs me. "Thanks Jay! I'm happy too, obviously." Simon hugs me next but I notice his hug is lasting longer than usual. "Let's see if this sets him off. He's been tense all day." He whispers in my ear. I notice Seonghwa staring at us blankly. Simon let's go smiling. "Hey Y/n/n come sit with us on the couch." Jay says pulling me over to the couch. He pulls me into his lap and my eyes widen.

"야! 죽을래?! (Yah! Do you want to die!?)" Seonghwa pulls me kinda roughly off Jay's lap and glare at him. "That's my fiancé, the only lap she sits on is mine. I've been letting this slide ALL day but nah I'm done. Y/n baby I love you but you need to stop being so god dang attractive, all these guys want you. Zayn, that waiter, Jay...Simon....the list goes on. Maybe I should just show them your mine."

He roughly pulls me into a kiss and I don't want to say that I'm swooning but hey this is my favorite thing. I don't mind my man a little...jealous.

A/n: This is an archive piece and I’m thinking about doing a series of different idols in the Simp Culture thing, if you can think of an idol message a request :)

I am totally head over heels in love with Lee Felix. I think about him everyday and just the thought of him gives me butterflies but there's just a slight problem...he's in love with my best friend and not me. She doesn't like him instead opting for his friend Jisung but that doesn't stop him from liking her all the same. He complains to me about her and I honestly feel sorry fo the guy because he has an unrequited love...much like the one I have for him. I'd do anything for him but he obviously doesn't feel like that for me.

"Y/n you should just tell him how you feel, you'll end up getting hurt in the process if you don't." Chan sympathizes being my other best friend. "I can't because I know he's going to reject me, he loves Mirah and she loves Jisung. Sometimes I feel like I'm going to die just hearing him be so obvious around her. I wish he loved me...maybe I should get it over with now. I'll call him."

"Hey you wanted to meet up?" I sigh not being able to meet his eyes. "I did...I wanted to tell you that.... I kinda like you but I know you don't like me that way so I'm fine with that. I just had to tell you that." He looks surprised and blinks a bit. "Oh wow urm Y/n/n I hate to say this but I don't feel the same way. I would still like to be your friend though and support you. You've been a really great friend and I don't want to lose you." I feel my heart shatter as he finishes speaking and I try to conceal it with a smile.

I feel my eyes prick with tears and I turn away so he can't see the tears starting to fall. "Well okay then I'm going to go." I start walking in the opposite direction away from the guy who still has my heart. "Y/n/n we're still okay right?" I pause walking and I turn around wiping my tears. "Would you be okay if Mirah rejected you and told you that she loved someone else? Would your heart be beating the same if you knew that the person you're in love with won't ever love you like you love them but you'd do anything for them just because you want them to be happy?"

"I'm going to now, I'll be taking a much needed break from you and everyone for that matter." I turn around again, walking away from him with a quickness.

2 weeks later

I take my seat in the student library to work on my homework and to study for my chemistry test. "Y/n ignoring me won't help you." Chan sits across from me and I sigh. "You're his best friend too so I'm not going to make you choose who to be friends with. I'm trying to study for a test if you don't mind." He sighs pulling out his books as well. "I'm going to be your friend still, I love being around you. So chemistry?" I nod starting to work on my homework. "So...have you seen him at all?"

"In passing because we are in college, I'm bound to see him around campus eventually." I try to see if the answer to the question is in my notes from class. "That's true...so are you still in love with him?" I shrug trying to not directly answer the question. "If not would you like to join me for lunch?" I raise an eyebrow. "Are you asking me out on a date?" His face creeps with a rosy blush. "Well if you want it to be..." I smile for what seems like the first time in forever. "Yes I'd love to."

Chan and I walk to class together smiling. "I hope you do well on your test today, you've been studying really hard. I believe in you!" He kisses me on my forehead before hugging me. "Y/n/n and...Chan?" Felix looks slightly upset but I smile lightly. "Thanks Channie, I have a go. I'll let you know how my test goes."

Third POV

Felix didn't know what to think about it seeing Y/n and Chan being so close. He was used to her always being with him and even talking to him. He's been avoided and ignored for the past two weeks making him feel lonely without her. He misses her and he might just be missing her more than he thought. "Oh hey mate, what's up?" Felix frowns at his friend. "Are you and her...?" Chan laughs lightly seemingly amused. "You'd like to know wouldn't you? She loved you and you were so blinded by Mirah who already has Jisung that you couldn't see the wonderful person who loved you all along."

Felix sighs as they walk away from the classroom. "I miss her Chan, I realized that my day isn't complete without hearing her laugh or smiling at something I said or me teaching her a Tik Tok dance. I hate the fact I'm the reason she was crying that day and the reason her heart was broken. I didn't want to reject her Chan..." Chan feels stuck between a rock in a hard place. He has started developing feelings for Y/n and he doesn't want to let her go. He knows now that Felix may be reciprocating her feelings but does he deserve her?

"Look mate I'm going to be honest, I really like her and I want to date her...do you love her?" Felix feels torn now because he doesn't want to ruin anything for Chan but at the same time he wants to mend everything with Y/n. "....Mate if you want to date her then I won't stop you. You deserve her more than I do. I'll just ask one thing though, can I apologize to her?" Chan smiles and side hugs his friend. "Of course you can...thanks mate."

Y/n

I run out of class to find Chan waiting for me. "Channie I got a 97 on my test! I'm so happy I thought I was going to get a C but no I aced it!!" He hugs me and spins me around. "See I told you I believed in you, I knew you could do it!! Come on let's celebrate your A with ice cream!" As we start walking I feel him intertwine our hands. I smile up at him and he places a kiss on my forehead.

"Channie why is he here?" I whisper over to Chan as Felix sits across from us in the booth. "Urm hi Y/n/n...I'm really sorry about before, I was really insensitive to your feelings. I came to realize that I was ignoring my feelings for you because I didn't want to lose you but that's what I ended up doing. I really miss you and I'd like to still be your friend." I look over at Chan who is holding my hand still. "Well I accept your apology...we can still be friends. I realized this week that I can get over you and I think it's best. I like how things are going with Chan so I want to continue dating him."

Third POV

It was in that moment that Felix became Y/n's simp and the tables had officially turned.

I sigh staring out my window again staring at the moon. My clock strikes 1 am and I'm sitting here wide awake. My phone is sitting on my dresser shut off because I couldn't face his reaction to me admitting my feelings because I knew I was going to get rejected. A stray tear falls down my face and I quickly wipe it away. You see Jackson's attention has always been on Mei and I can't blame him honestly. She's basically perfect , she's the sweetest person I know and my best friend. The thing is she isn't interested in him whatsoever and is pursuing Namjoon instead. The four of us grew up together and were inseparable and now Mei and Namjoon are an item. Jackson is very obvious about his feelings but she chooses to ignore them. He complains to me about it all the time, not realizing he's doing the same thing he complains about to me.

Ew by Joji plays softly in my room at a volume only I can hear. I decide to turn on my phone but am stopped by the sound of something hitting my bedroom window. I ignore it and let my iPhone screen light up from black to white back to the lock screen of the four of us smiling together seemingly happy to all be together. The sound becomes persistent so I walk back over to my window to see Jackson throwing rocks. I sigh and lift the slightly heavy window. "...What are you doing at my window at 1 am? I'm sure whatever you have to say can wait for morning." He looks nervous , guilty almost. "Y/n/n I'm sorry, I wanted to make sure you were okay because you didn't respond to my messages. The last thing I'd want is to upset you because you're one of my best friends." I blink a few times trying to fight back tears because he's too nice to me. He's always been too nice, probably why I fell in love with him in the first place.

I look at my phone seeing the messages of probable rejection displayed on my screen making me feel slightly worse. "Why would anything be wrong? It's not like I didn't know that you didn't return my feelings, I knew it all along. Anyone with eyes would choose her over me. I don't blame you...how did you know I was even up?" He shrugs kicking the pebbles at his feet. "Well you're always up this late usually watching anime so I took a chance. But Y/n there's nothing wrong with you..." I laugh humorlessly and force a smile. "Well I'm not going to argue with you because it's not like you'd understand. Clearly this isn't going to happen so forget I said anything. Just forget it ever happened... and everything else too. I can't take this anymore it's already having me question myself and I don't want to have lower than usual self esteem. I can't be around you guys, goodbye Jackson."

"Wait you're saying you're not going to talk to any of us because of me? That's not exactly fair Y/n, what about Mei, she's your best friend?! What did she do? She loves you!" I nod. "And you love her. It's an endless cycle Jackson really, I love you, you love her, and she loves Namjoon and they're dating. You whine to me about your problems, she tells me to go for it and confess my feelings for you so we can all be buddy buddy and go on double dates. She unknowingly rejects you but you still love her. That's the cycle I'm breaking. I can't go through that anymore...I'm done."

"Y/n/n I don't think you get it. I do love you, I even said so in my messages. I'm just not ready for a relationship right now... I came here to make sure you're okay because I need you to be okay. Please don't do this...." I shake my head. "Yeah well I'm taking a break from all of this. I need to to think about things...I'm not a rebound from you not getting Mei." I remove myself from my window and I close it back locking it.

Now Group 2 for those boarding flight 677A for Seoul, SK

I stand up grabbing my carryon bag and my phone. After a month of being away and doing my own thing I've decided to come back.

I walk into my home and sigh seeing, as it should, looking how I left it a month ago. Going to the fridge...of course it's empty so it looks like I have to go shopping. I grab my keys and lock up before making my way down the block to the nearest grocery store. I grab a small cart because I'm shopping for one. I browse the familiar aisles grabbing things that I need until I hear familiar laughter. "Joonie I can't believe you broke another wooden spoon, I need those for cooking! It's a good thing I love you." "Yeah but I was just distracted by Jackson whining over Y/n again. I tripped and broke it."

I hear Mei and Namjoon on what seems the aisle over. I pretend that I don't hear them and I keep shopping. As I turn on another aisle I hear a gasp. "Y/N!! You're back!" Mei rushes over to me all smiles and Namjoon waves. "...Oh yeah I got back a couple hours ago." She hugs me, squeezing me rather, while I try not to tense up. Seeing her is like being reminded of Jackson. "How was your trip Y/n/n?" Namjoon joins in hugging me making it a group hug much to my dismay. "It was very relaxing and I had lots of time to think. As much as I didn't want to see you guys I guess it's unavoidable...I missed you two."

"Awww we missed you two! Jackson has been complaining to us about you...did you tell him you're back?" I scoff rolling my eyes. "Yeah right, he's been simping over you for years and now he's claiming he wants me? I'm not with it." They look at each other confused. "Uh Y/n he's always talked about you. I thought it was obvious!" I let out a humorless laugh. "No he's always complained to me about Mei." Namjoon starts to look guilty and Mei and I raise an eyebrow. "I might've given him the advice to talk to you about how he feels but hypothetically use someone else when doing it to make it obvious but he's an idiot. I should've known.."

I sigh not knowing how to feel about this new information. "Well thanks guys, I gotta finish up my shopping and get home to cook myself something. I'll text you later." They bid their goodbyes and go off to the checkout line. I get everything I need and go on to get checked out.

"So I did invite Jackson, you two need to talk." Mei and I are sitting in a booth at our favorite restaurant. "I hate it here I really do." I see a nervous Jackson make his way over to us and he sits next to me. "Hey Y/n/n...you look really nice! Uh I brought you these..." He hands me a bouquet of my favorite flowers and a small smile etches across my face. "Hi Jackson...thank you. I heard you released a new line of clothes, congratulations." Mei smiles seeing that the conversation is going well.

The whole dinner was pleasant and gradually Jackson moved closer to me and it was like old times. Mei leaves the two of us alone to take a phone call but I know what she's doing. "So...uh about before I really wanted to apologize. I guess I never really gave you a chance to explain anything." He sighs and places his hand on mine. "No I'm the one who should apologize, I unknowingly made you feel less than instead of telling you up front about how I felt about you. Mei is great and all but she's not my type, I've always been in love with you. All those times I'd complain to you about her I was talking about you, I wanted you to love me and not love anyone else. I'm really sorry Y/n/n...can you forgive me?"

I nod softly processing what he said. "I forgive you, I know that you didn't want to get into a relationship yet but-" "I do, but only if it's with you." I feel my mouth slack a bit in surprise. "You...want to date me?" He smiles turning so he can see my face better. "Of course that's the beginning, then I'll wife you up and father our children. That's what I want, I want you Y/n." He said my real name he's being serious. "Okay I'll be your girlfriend and future wife."

Jackson's POV

"So you two are finally together huh? It's about time, you took forever!" Namjoon rolls his eyes sipping his soju. "Yeah well we're going to get married one day and when we do we're going to have the most beautiful children." He shakes his head chuckling to himself. "Yeah you always did know how to pick your chocolate, nice and smooth. When we were little don't get mad but I liked Y/n too." I raise an eyebrow. "Namjoon I didn't know that you liked chocolate. I thought you were a vanilla guy."

"I always liked chocolate, all kinds but I think Y/n wears it best."
