palestine WILL be free

The Palestinian lives lost aren't statistics.

Each of those names was a person- a son, a daughter, a mother, a father or a sibling. These people had hobbies, went to school, went to work, they had families, they had ambitions and they had dreams. What have they gotten? They've been martyred and instead of having the bare minimum of a dignified funeral (which is out of reach as cemeteries and hospitals have been bombed), they are left under the rubble to rot. There are Palestinian children out there starving, bleeding, sobbing; they are writing their names on their arms in case they are so brutally injured or murdered that they're unrecognisable. They are covering their mouths with their hands so their parents don't realise they are starving to spare them heartbreak. There are Palestinian parents digging through the rubble, crying as they hold what used to be their child.

This isn't a war. This is a war crime and it is genocide.

Don't stay quiet. This isn't a trend, it's a real thing happening as you read this and it's hurting thousands, if not millions of people.

Write poetry, create artwork, sign petitions. Do anything in your power to help them.
