Me and Teacups were having a bit of a blether about stuff that cheered us up like certain songs, books etc. Which led us to ask the question which episode of Call the Midwife do we go to raise our spirits? This wasn't any easy ask. Certain scenes maybe, but they were often balanced out by trauma.

We would like to know what you think is the most cheery episode of Call the Midwife?

When Sister Monica Joan made Sister Julienne break the fourth wall...twice!

Was that too subtle, do you not think it counts? Don’t worry, the best part is still to come. Moments later, this happens:

🤣 I laugh so hard every time I see it. I feel like she’s asking the viewer “...are you hearing this too?”

It isn’t that sort of show so I doubt it’s intentional, but at the same time I don’t understand why they’d use this take if it wasn’t. Either way I’m just so happy it’s there! 😄
