Why I have not posted in a while? Well this is the hazards of being a nature photographer. Broke my ankle in two places, fractured it in three, tore three tendons, stressed the achilles and tore the muscle.
Using one of those new fangled hiking sticks which collapsed on me at the wrong time going down a granite rock slab.
BUT I AM BACK NOW.
This area was home to the Native American band of Algonquian. It is actually a national historical site of Native Americans as this was one of the main places for their harvesting of jaspar from Mount Jaspar which is behind this scene. The mountain in the background is known locally as Elephant Mountain but on maps it is known as Mt Forist.
