tell me ur thoughts on how Astarion would set up the perfect romantic date

Honestly I lobe him so much and once you get past his sort of cocky mask he's such a little ball of anxiety and sweetness, I feel like his idea of an actually romantic date would be something thoughtful! Obviously feel free to imagine whatever you'd like yourself, but personally I think something he would like that I also like would be like this:

Astarion waits until night, when the stars are shining and the moon is out, and he takes you to a nice quiet clearing in a forest. Maybe by a river, or a lake even. Once you're there he's got a nice picnic set up just for the two of you, maybe there's some candles or a nice fire you can sit by if it's a colder night. I think he would like to just spend time together talking, maybe looking at the stars.

Astarion bg3 headcanons?

Sure thing!

He claims he isn't a tea drinker though I feel like if someone he truly loved/cared about made a pot of it he would at least have a cup or two to make them happy. Hell he might even find a blend he actually enjoys!

2. Through dialogue of him knowing how to disguise the smell of the corpse and how he 'missed his opportunity to be a perfumer' I could see him carrying around perfumes/colognes he's made himself. Sure he wouldn't admit it to the party why he suddenly was picking up flowers and other plants along the way but the end result would be worth the secrets.

3. While yeah its default to sleep on his back during a long rest, but honestly? he seems like a belly/side sleeper, especially on his left side when he's having stomach pains. While yes he is a elf he doesn't need to sleep, but I feel like it's nice to actually sleep like the others now and then...Though probably would only do this if he can fully trust the party not to stake him / protect him from any harm while he is vulnerable.

4. Despite being a playboy for Cazador's evil plans, I do think he genuinely enjoys the company of others even if its just for one night. Though when he meets the tav/player character all that changes. He's hesitant at first, keeping up his usual façade though over time he realizes hes catching feelings and doesn't quite know how to feel about it but will still be affectionate towards them none the less.

3. I have a life outside this blog so answering asks will be whenever I get around to them. Sometimes it'll be rapid fire while other times its going to be spotty. Don't like it? Deal with it. There are plenty of blogs like mine out there so you can go send them stuff.

4. I have the right to refuse to do headcanons for ships I do not feel comfortable with. I will not judge who you ship unless its illegal shit then im going to have a problem. Otherwise more power to you, but I'm not gonna answer asks im not comfy with.
