Honestly I was gonna come back with extra points and a whole essay to make but essentially my hopes for wedits is that this show doesn’t end with a bunch of lampshading. Or that it becomes disingenuous whether or not Guillermo stays a human, there’s A LOT to pick at and unpack but I can understand that there’s only so much they can tackle and making this a 10+ season show would be ridiculous and off putting IMO. Anyway I’m excited for what’s next especially the consequences (if any). Anyway I’m mostly happy with season 5 and Guillermo had this coming SINCE SEASON 1 y’all. He was going to regret it because his identity wasn’t fully developed in regards to the other characters as well as the way in which becoming a vampire requires A LOT. And although my beloved dumbass Nandor blue balled him for 11 years, he has MANY POINTS on why he wants Guillermo to wait or really change his mind.

finished wedits, and honestly i remembers reading some people having some frustrations with the writings prior to catching up with the seasons and in essence reading about lil things of where the show is going and so on, and the inconsistencies and legit things being dropped. But also, also, also, also, i have to ask... have you ever been in a room with a bunch of dysfunctional queer people?

but on a serious note lol. i never thought I'd be very much in love with one leslie lazlo cravensworth, thank you.

and UM not to be a phaguette but like :I Nandor's hands when tying Guillermo's ceremony cape in that non-essential ceremony that had no other purpose than just killing another vampire. LOL uhm IM AT MY FUCKING LIMIT :^).

but essentially so far I feel like this is/was a working season to lay shit out for the next. So I get the feeling of everything changing and then nothing REALLY changing at all. but i'm in a "we shall see" area right now. I'll have more wedits thoughts tomorrow.
