I have suddenly understood why this shot with the "love of my life" line feels so strange.

Armand and Louis are both wearing black, but Armand's clothes have more sharp lines. Now he is the real predator.

Armand is not flying already, but he's still standing higher than Louis.

Armand's half of the picture is darker and heavier, he is the gravity center here. And it seems like he's spreading tentacles to Louis.

I've read The Vampire Lestat and understood something about Armand. He's very good at reading minds and blocking his own. And this could make sense if we look at him as a victim of violence.

He was tortured by humans. He saw Marius' "death". He was tortured again by Santino and his vampires. He was forsed to change his world view and become a part of the cult just because he wanted to survive. And after that he often needed someone to show him the way and the world: Marius, Santino, Lestat, Louis, even Daniel.

So let's think. As far as I know from psychologists, when a person spends a lot of time with a torturer, they start to try to "read their mind", to guess their mood and to make as good impression as possible. Just for survival.

Don't you think that this is exactly what Armand doing, but with his vampire skills?

Always looking for a danger. Reading Lestat's mind and making him in love with him, when Lestat was the danger for the cult. Torturing Nicki, when he was the danger for the Theatre. And in the show probably changing Louis' and Daniel's memories, when he feels fear for his normal life.

If the show makes something like that, it will be very good. They already shows us a problem of domestic violence, so they could do it great.

(It's hard for me to think about it. All this vampires need a long therapy)

I'm working on my video about IWTV. And I just now can see Lestat without Louis' opinion about him. And there is so much pain in him, I just can't.

And now I realize how genius Sam Reid is. He clearly understand that he plays a person who is seen by someone else. And real Lestat is somewhere under the surface. So he can just stay in silence, and there would be an abyss of loneliness and past trauma.

I just rewathched LOTR and I have one big thought. How great will be the rule of Aragorn (Elessar now) and Faramir as his advisor!

They both learned from Gendalf, both are good leaders with a lot of experience of keeping control, but also rather soft and careful.

Aragorn had a long live and saw almost all the Middlearth, and he is a good diplomat. He cares about every person around (remember this scene with the boy in Helm's Deep). But he didn't live many years in Gondor. Unlike Faramir. Faramir knows every street in Minas-Tirith, he knows what people think and like. People don't know this king of Gondor they dreamed of, but they do know Faramir, who protected them for years, and they trust him.

And besides... Faramir would finally have some important figure who would listen to his words and respect his decisions and desires. Yes, I think, Aragorn can become this father-figure for Faramir and heal not only his body, but his mind.
