one of the thing i love most about stray kids is the love they have to their mothers ^^

recently, it was mothers day in my country and i want to share that my mom likes skz too!! we see their music videos together and she tries to learn their names :D sometimes she comes to my room singing God’s Menu and it’s really funny because she only knows one part.

lovers & haters

one of the main topics of my blog is kpop, soecialky stray kids since they’re my favourite group.

of course they have a lot of fans all around the world, of all ages, and they receive all the love that they give to their fans back. but there are also haters that affect the fandom and the group itself.

being one of the biggest kpop groups of the moment bring a lot of attentuon to them, abd a lot of people hate on their music without listening to more than their more popular songs. they also hate on their appearances or mistakes that they could’ve made in the past, even though they have apologised.

this brings a lot of pressure to them as idols, created a toxic environment between kpop fans and might even make people enjoy being their fans less :c

Yellow Movies ^-^

Hii, in this entry I want to talk about some of my favourite movies that guve me yellowish vibes but still provoke different emotions in me!!

starting with little miss sunshine! this is one of my comfort movies, i feel like this really showcases the innocence of being a child and the comfort that imagination and playfulness can give you even when everything around you is stressful, because you, just being a child, live on your own world and I think that being ignorant to adult problems is something that everyone wants to go back to at least once in their lives.

i have some problems woth this movie -_- I think that this would be a very beautiful love story if only both of the characters were of the same age group. everything is so pleasing about this movie, the scenography, colors, music, screenwriting, i like this movie a lot for those things!! the really big detail i mentioned before is what ruins it for me :((

lastly, dead poets society, i feel like this is a darker shade of yellow, the movie itself i think its really raw but at the same time hopeful (?) it shows both the advantages and disadvantages of being an artist, and i would say, the cost of freedom of mind, represented as the theatre abd poetry here. still, i think its a comfort (at least for me) because it gives you hope and that need to pursue freedom.

My favourite albums !!!

Hii !! as i said in my blog intro I wanted to use this blog to give my opinion on my topics of interest and also give recommendations!! ��ㅅㅇ

Today I’ll talk about some of my favourite albums from my favourite artists, the list is too long so I tried my best to make it shorter (‘ -_-) maybe in the future I’ll make a part 2 !!

Dookie by Green Day

I wanted to start with the band that started shaping my taste in music. I began listening to Green Day when I was around 12 yeard old and it quickly became my favourite band !! Picking only one album from the was so difficult because each one of them has something special but I ended up choosing Dookie because a lot of my favourite song are in it and also it changed the pop punk scene ^^ I feel like one can relate a lot with the lyrics when you start entering young adulthood and the melodies are so catchy !!

Jubilee by Japanese Breakfast

I can’t express with words just how much i love this album ㅠㅠ . I love putting my headphones on and just concebtrating in the music and all it’s details, the background sounds the synthesization of the voice. The lyrics are beautiful and I love watching how much Michelle grew from her past albums to this one. This journey can feel much more represented in the song Paprika. I really recommend listening to this album all the way through at least once in your lifetime. For me it is truly something special.

IN LIFE by Stray Kids

This one was the hardest artist to pick a favourite album from because all of their discography is truly amazing, it’s so unique and diverse. Thechnically this is an album repackage of their first full album GO LIVE but i picked this one because in addition to including the songs in that album it also includes new songs like Back Door, Any, Ex, etc. The year in which they released the album and it’s repackage their career went up faster than before and they were named the pioneers of “Mala Taste” a sub-genre in Kpop that was created after them. I love the lyrics of this album, for example, in The Tortoise and the Hare the lyricism combined with the pace of the song is so enjoyable, along with the message it gives to the listeners. The instrumentals of Ex, Any, We Go are so satisfying to listen to. The lyrics from Blueprint, Phobia and B Me are so comforting to me and when I’m feeling down I love listening to Airplane, Easy and God’s Menu because those songs really hype me up with their youthful energy. Really one of their most complete albums.

Hii everyone !! Sorry for being inactive lately ㅠㅠ school has kept me busy for a while haha.

The other day I was talking with a friend about how scandalous dating rumours are in the kpop scene and I remembered about the rumour that Seungmin (skz) and Soojin (weeekly) were dating.

About that I found kind of creepy how the people who started the rumour were too observant of the things that they did, I think they were making up thise reasons by themselves lol, like, saying they’re dating because they both look like pochacco is somewhat ridiculous.

Personally I don’t see anything wrong with idols dating someone, they are humans too and they deserve to love and be loved by a partner, it is scary how they can receive a lot of hate if they are seen with a person of the opposite gender :(

You make Stray Kids Stay <3 !

Hi everyone !! Now that the MANIAC tour is completed (except for the dates that they still have to do in the US) i wanted to express my love towards this era and my admiration to their growth (｡･･｡)

First off, Stray Kids debutes in 2018, the group was made by the leader Bang Chan, instead of the company, they compose and produce almost all of their songs since the very first start !! They started as an experiment of their company JYPEntertainment.

In March of 2022 they released their 6th mini album “ODDINARY” (my favourite mini album :3). For me, it is one of their most complete albums: from exciting beats like their title track MANIAC and FREEZE to heart-touching ballads like Waiting for Us and fabulous raps in VENOM and Muddy Water (and the rest of the songs aren’t left behind)

With this mini album they announced their World Tour called MANIAC (as the title track). They came to the USA again since 2019 and they performed absolutely amazing shows !! I had the chance to watch some of them in a live transmision, and I was so excited as if I was there in the audience. All of their songs along with the dances hyped me up, and the ending speeches had me crying oceans for them ㅠㅠ.

The past weekend they performed at the Kyocera Dome in Japan and they achieved one of their dreams, performing to 55k people in the Dome and 250k watching the live streaming. It is no doubt that Stray Kids will become even bigger. From being a self-made group whose agency didn’t even believe in them to leading the 4th Generation of K-pop, Stray Kids are here to STAY ^ㅅ^

I’ll leave an article talking about one of their concerts which from my view it describes the experience so accurately for people who don’t know much about them and for stay too~

I wanted my blog to be very colourful because I think that’s the best way to express myself and my personality. Also I wanted to include my interests! I chose a photo of Jeongin (or I.N.) from Stray Kids because they are my favourite musicians and kpop idols ^_^ also the picture matched very well the colours of my blog. The header is a collage made of flowers and plants which kind of represents the topics that I’ll be talking about in my blog (which I will explain in more depth in my next post :D) look forward to my future entries 🤍 !!
