Photocheer AU prompt

Jonathan Byers has been encouraged to expand his photography portfolio. His teacher sets him homework to try his hand at portraits (an area he’s not explored much given his shy nature - and that kind of photography requires connection).  He worries all weekend about who to ask… and then bumps right into Queen Bee Chrissy Cunningham who’s always been so nice and friendly to him. She’s beautiful too and his fingers itch to capture that million dollar smile.

She blushes bright pink when he asks her to model for him. He's about to apologise when she says yes...yes, of course she'll help him. She trusts him.

She agrees and they work at it for an hour in the studio. They (both) find themselves opening up and he even makes her laugh. He keeps his eyes on her face through the lens and she bravely meets his gaze. To his surprise, Chrissy then suggests something more… daring.  She wants to pose for him. She wants to lose herself. (post Vecna - Nancy picked Steve)

Agent Christine Cunningham is instructed to debunk an FBI project dubbed 'The Vecna-Files', paranormal cases that have been reopened by Agent Eddie Munson. Munson and Cunningham investigate the mysterious case of Hawkins which houses portals to a world called the 'Upside-Down'.

Cunningham is smart, logical, and keen to rise through the ranks of the FBI. She dots the i's and crosses the t's. She wants this mission to be a success and use it to make a name for herself. Munson is the opposite; brash, enthusiastic (to a fault), and disillusioned with the FBI. He truly believes in the paranormal forces.

WIP whenever

I was tagged by the precius @pipergirl17 to share a snippet of a WIP (lol I have a wide menu to choose from right now). Thank you for thinking of me!

This is from the upcoming sequel to my photocheer debut (there is a light that never goes out). A little insight to the Byers family dynamic with Chrissy :) a small teaser while I'm still trying to write enough chapters in advance to post with a comfortable, steady schedule:

His mom spun Will around and they laughed through the strange chorus, swaying back and forth. When she finally caught her breath, Chrissy and Jonathan locked eyes and didn’t have to speak; they smiled knowingly. A soft grasp on her arm grabbed her attention and before she knew it, her voice joined with the other Byers’ out-of-key rendition. Joyce’s eyes were a warm kind of wild, her brows standing so tall they seemed to launch her cheek bones even higher with her smile. They did the twist together a smidge off-beat, and Chrissy shook out her hair, letting loose for the first time in a long time. “Jonathan, you’re really missing out.” His mom teased, pulling Will under her arm for a quick hug. “I think I’m alright down here. You guys can, uh, keep doing whatever that is—” He gestured vaguely with a microscopic smirk that you’d miss if you didn’t absolutely adore Jonathan Byers.

We're getting there!

And besides these, I started two new wips, because I'm insane.

A charlies angels au for Nancy, Chrissy, and Robin that I've written about 2k words for AND a Patrick x Chrissy (who am I?? also is McCunning a cute ship name? idk lol) slow burn fic with >1k for the first chap so far...
