Hi!

So to get things started, a little about me:

Y’all can call me Peony and I am 22. I just finished my degree in Mathematics and am currently getting certified to teach. For this reason there are going to be a few things I can no longer talk about on this blog.

Formerly known as uwugalore.

Fair warning: I am EXTREMELY blunt. I hope none of this comes off as aggressive because that was not the intent in any way.

This is NOT my main. Because of this you’ll never see me respond directly to comments on this blog. My main is my work blog and I really want to keep the two separate. So, I do not respond to your question as a comment, please understand that it’s a rule I have for myself. Depending on the question, I’ll try to send you a PM.

I listen to a bunch of groups casually, such as EXO, Monsta X, NU’EST, SHINee, Dreamcatcher, A.C.E., BTS (ok, maybe not so casually here), and a few others that I can’t name off the top of my head. My two main groups are VIXX and GOT7.

If you want to discuss pins, I will gladly discuss, I have a huge collection and am thinking about making my own pins. I make no promises at this point, but its very likely as I have several k-pop pin sketches.

Now onto the FAQ:

1) Can I be tagged in a series?

I’ve tagging on my main blog for work. I do not like doing it since Tumblr is a butt. And coupled with my OCD, tagging becomes a chore and I do not like how it looks. Therefore, I do NOT tag people in stories unless I am giving them credit for something. I do however update regularly. This is something that I also personally believe: if you like someone’s work enough to ask to be tagged in it, then following them is worth it. You’ll get updates and it’ll put a smile on the writer’s face.

2) If I can’t be tagged, how should I keep up to date?

Simply follow. I don’t reblog other stuff too often except for special occasions (ex. Hyuk’s birthday) or things I find funny. I also keep a fairly up to date master list of my work, with tentative dates of when things will be published. I plan on having works published on either Saturday or Sunday with the teasers uploaded on the Friday before publishing.

3) When are you going to update [BLANK]?

Listen. I know people want to know when things will be published. And I know that a lot of people follow me for one story. But please understand, there is nothing more creatively detrimental to a writer, especially when they’re working on something they’re excited about, if a different story is going to be updated. I’ve received very nice asks about updates, but even those hit me pretty hard. They make me feel like a crap writer because I cannot please people. 

All series, unless otherwise explicitly stated, will be completed.

How I’ll be responding to update asks: If it’s a polite ask, I’ll be directing you to this page, asking you to look at this point. If it’s rude, not only will I delete your ask, I will block you. Harsh? Maybe. But I’m finally learning that I do not have to put up with that behavior unless I allow it.

PSA regarding all writers: Unless if you know us personally, please don’t ask us about updates. Chances are, we know we haven’t updated it yet. Why haven’t we updated? (a) The Muse is a fickle mistress, we only write when and what She is willing to grant. (b) Life happens. If you ever think that your emotions are all over the place, try being a writer: we not only have ourselves in our heads, but countless others we’ve created. It’s a madhouse. © We have so many different ideas bouncing around in our heads that it’s hard to stick to just one when– oooh! Shiny new idea!

4) What is your policy on asks?

I will typically reply to asks that put their names there in private.

If your question is something that I feel like I want to post to my general blog, I will try to send you a private message to ask permission. This will typically be for things like praise or story specific questions.

If it’s an anonymous ask, I will answer it publicly. Anything that is hurtful, unnecessary, or hateful will be deleted promptly. 

I want this blog to be as safe place for people of all fandoms, so if I feel that a message will start a fight on my blog, I will not post it. I am however perfectly comfortable with discussing one on one in my dms.

5) Could I make a request?

Unfortunately, no. My brain is already swimming in ideas that I can’t get down fast enough.

P.S. If you every just want to drop math puns/jokes in my inbox, I will NEVER turn them down.

Namjoon drops his hands from your waist with a petulant whine as you lean back. The wolf hybrid begrudgingly returns to his spot to give his packmate room as Hoseok settles down in front of you. Your skin is buzzing with anticipation as you let your gaze roam over Hoseok’s heart shaped mouth, your back straightening as his tongue peeks out to quickly swipe over his lips. “I’m sorry Y/n,” The remorse in the dog hybrid’s soft voice catches you off-guard, your thoughts screeching to a halt as he turns his gaze to his lap. Hoseok’s golden ears are pressed flat against his head as he says, ”I didn’t mean to upset your friends. I just couldn’t stand the thought of another dog hybrid–” He cuts himself off as he clenches his jaw, his eyes fluttering shut as he tries to get his emotions under control, ”–It doesn’t matter, I behaved out of line. I know she’s not my rival anymore and I shouldn’t have acted threatening. I’m really sorry.” It dawns on you that it’s probably why Hoseok looked so troubled earlier. He wasn’t just uncomfortable with Sana’s scent, but rather with how he had acted on his instincts.

“Hobi,” You murmur, gently taking one of the dog hybrid’s hands in your own. ”Please don’t beat yourself up over it. I know my situation is making your instincts are harder to control, and even if Jihyo didn’t know about it, she knew enough to realize that it was probably a bad idea to bring Sana over. It caught us all by surprise and it’s not your fault for reacting the way you did.” You can’t stand the thought of Hoseok feeling guilty for listening to his own instincts, and especially not when they were triggered by something he couldn’t control or foresee. ”Please?” You squeeze his hand.

”You’re not angry?” Hoseok whimpers, his eyes briefly flickering up to meet yours.

”Of course not, not over something like this,” You reassure him. The dog hybrid pauses for a beat, thinking your words over before he says, ”If you’re not mad at me .. Does that mean I can kiss you too?”
