Starting today, June 11, U.S. internet providers will be legally allowed to censor and block websites and apps, and force you to pay extra fees to to access your favorite places online. Your internet sanctuaries, the communities you are part of, the ones you have help build up, could be decimated.

Will it happen today? No. Next week? Probably not. The changes will not be swift. They will come piece by piece. A slow, tempered death to the free and open internet we love.

It doesn’t have to be this way. You can still make a difference, Tumblr. We need the House of Representatives to sign a discharge petition in support of the Congressional Review Act that would force a vote on the floor.

Contact your reps—let them know you support net neutrality.

They have an updated widget for you to throw on your websites to urge others to make a difference. You can put it on your Tumblr. Hello, this isn't a request just me asking you for some advice. I decided to start a blog where I do text post, scenarios, reactions and ships. One of the fandom's I'm going to be doing is Supergirl. I only have one post so far which is what the rules are and what fandom's I'm doing. Anyways I was wondering if you could give me some advice on how I can get my blog noticed?

Hello! First of all, I would like to say that I am a terrible blog owner, lol. I had this account for like a month then let it sit for a year. Then I was really active for like, two months and now it’s been sitting for probably three months. The only difference now is that I have requests that I’m letting sit there and disappointing everybody, lol. I’m sorry, y’all!! So, I’m probably not the best person to go to for blog advice, lol.

Secondly, that sounds awesome! All I can really say is post what you enjoy, use the tags, and people will come to you. I can also give you a shoutout if you want!

If you enjoy writing and you’re generally too busy to write, that’s okay! Nobody worth thinking about is going to berate you for putting real life first.

If you’re feeling unmotivated, that’s okay! You just need to take some time and wait until that urge comes back, or power through it and get it done if that’s a system that works for you!

Please, please don’t get all stressed about your followers leaving or saying rude things if they get impatient. If they don’t want to stick around for greatness, then that’s their own fault! As a reader and a friend, I can promise you that we put your well-being over our anxious wait for that next chapter.

Hello. It’s me. I’m back from spring break and I’m very tired, lol. I visited my brother down in Florida and I had a good time. But the best part was that one night we had dinner with his girlfriend and she brought me back a souvenir from when she went to BroadwayCon! And. it. was. a. personalized. autographed. newspaper prop from Newsies... signed by JerEMY FREAKING JORDAN!! I AM DEAD!
