Something similar happened to me before. This is actually how I got Eclipse, back when he was an Eevee. His mom was owned by an Eevee breeder who kept her because she made the "best" little Eevees. But that guy didn't like Eclipse that much--he had an odd coloring pattern on his tail--and he was about to just dump Eclipse in the trash just because of that. I'm really glad I was walking by that area while this happened. I adopted Eclipse immediately.

That's awful... Gosh, it's always hard to hear about stories like this ):

I know most people are good! But here at the center we get a lot of the sadder cases so it feels like people are worse than they really are X[

Oh man, looking at Succulent in that picture just gave me a massive flashback to when I first got to the Unova region.

To make a very long story short, it started with a douchebag demanding a battle mere minutes after I exited the airport and ended with him dumping the two eevee I defeated on me.

I adopted them. Didn't even hesitate.

Those poor babies... D: At least they've got a lovely new home now!!

We've got some Pokemon here that were abandoned by trainers... it's so sad to hear about every time it happens... x_x

Thanks for giving my Eeveelution a checkup yesterday!

As you know, Eclipse (properly named, I might say), evolved as an eevee during the total eclipse, turning into an Umbreon-Espeon hybrid. After seeing photo of Succulent, I knew the center had experience with Eeveelution hybrids, and I was right! To my relief, the hybrid-ness has not effected Eclipse's health at all, and he's still a happy boy!

He is lovely!! <3 He's super smart and he works here making food and baking treats for Pokemon!

[@pokebreedsadoption] It's always lovely seeing more people helping Pokémon get adopted! I'd suggest to go ahead and share the less 'stereotypically pretty' Pokémon-they're all beautiful inside, I'd say! I also have to ask, what was the weirdest Pokémon you guys got in?

Okay I'll share a picture of her... but be warned! It might be a little hard to look at ):

This is our girl, Succulent! Or at least that's what we've named her right now. She didn't have a name when we got her. ): She's a mix of a Leafon and a Glaceon. A very rare case of an Eevee getting exposed to two stones at once and picking both instead of just one! How cool is that?!

We got her from a small lab that got shut down for mistreating its Pokemon ): She's pretty thin right now and we're slowly building up her weight again. She's having some slight trouble gaining weight and we've decided to not adopt her out until she's nice and healthy. Give this girl love and support!!

I have to confess right now- we only have one Eeveelution available for adoption! My apologies, I assumed the other was further along in her recovery than she really is ):

But here's our Jolteon, Rumble! He has really pretty eyes and ears in my opinion!!

He came to us because he used to have seizures but with some surgery and medication, he hasn't had one in a year! If you adopt him you'll just have to keep an eye on him and take him to your nearest pokemon center in the case that he has any future episodes. Rumble would make a great friend to anyone! He's a little nervous at first but once he gets some reassurance he's a happy bouncing boy!
