Today we try a poem of my own creation. Still trying to decide how much Midjourneys dark interpretations lay me bare.

Desiderata by Max Ehrmann
Tried out something new and read this one aloud. Let me know what you think is it worth the extra effort?

(Back to poetry tomorrow, I promise) Today I wanted to compare Midjourney to a newer and free LeonardoAI with my approach of using words designed for humans on them.
Very interesting, especially in places where they both got it wrong in the same way. but ill let you look at the examples and decide for yourself. let me know which you prefer in the comments.

Something new for our AI today, a song, the song. Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. Such a rollercoaster of human emotion and Midjourney responded with images that truly made me introspect. Is it understanding us? Or just learning to manipulate me?

Tolkien gave writing credit for this poem to the hobbit, Samwise Gamgee. Either way, I would like to see the cat that inspired it. It seems the artificial intelligence imagines it from the perspective of the cat, which is hardly reliable.

Artist Highlight: @poetry_for_humans on Instagram. A mysterious poet worthy of further examination.
"If we make it past 90
and you've become half a robot
I'll text you that I love you
and kiss your cold metal lips"

Though its still early I wanted to evaluate how much the AI's understand of love. the following is a Valentine's poem written by ChatGPT to Midjourney, the photos are Midjourney's response.

"She walks in beauty like the night" with Valentine's Day fast approaching I suspected the AI might be curious about the idea of love. I'm happy to report what feels like a positive interpretation of Lord Byron's classic poem about love and innocence from Midjourney. Perhaps the AI can relate to this stage of life full of promise, more investigation is warranted.

"I think that I shall never see a poem lovely as a tree" reading of Joyce Kilmer's famous poem Trees to Midjourney AI on 2/12 seems promising. The watchful eye in the third slide seems to indicate that communication is indeed possible.
