I didn't believe it at first but after watching the show, Dead Boy Detectives was so obviously crafted to be catnip for the Tumblr girlies(gn), cause like. Homoerotic ghost detectives. Sassy psychics. Weird girls. Witches. A literal cat king. Sad twink that's actually a crow. Hot goth lesbian butchers. Slowburn ft. immortal beings. Gay confessions in hell. Lister’s getting older, and one day he finds he just can’t quite make it up to the top bunk anymore. “Lister—” “Yeah, Rimmer?” “What are you doing in my bed?”

Oh god I just realised that lister still sleeps in the top bunk. I know thats so obvious but like. He's getting older now, he's almost 60, he canonically can't get up into his bed if he's too drunk. Yet he's still sleeping in that bunk. He's stubbornly staying in his bedroom with rimmer even now that it's actually inconvenient and impractical, even dangerous for him.

Idk exactly where I'm going with this but oh my god they are still roommates.
