Roman: I hate all of you. This house is a living nightmare.

Could you imagine all the Sides having to share an apartment together. Like they’ve all moved in with Thomas and help with the rent even while he’s in college, and yet there’s so much chaos who knows if it’s even worth it.

You have Patton that keeps loading the fridge full with pastries and pasta, decorating each room in bright colors and keeps accidentally dropping your stuff into the toilet,

you have Logan doing scientific experiments in his room that sometimes causes a giant mess-or seven different explosions..who’s counting?- and trying to make everyone follow a strict rule and chore guideline that hurts more than it helps,

then you have Roman trying desperately to achieve his acting career by singing and rehearsing at 2 am -and taking up all of the hot water in the shower because he hasn’t finished his playlist and he has to finish this one last bop before he gets out- and not to mention sword practinging inside the house and ruining a bunch of furniture,

and then lastly Virgil who tends to be really messy and forgets to stop leaving his pet tarantula’s cage open at night and playing his music too loud for the others to concentrate on what they’re doing.

Thomas loves his roommates. He does, they all have their fun moments and they get along really well...most of the time. But the landlord probably isn’t as happy as he is to have his friends around.

Let’s talk a little bit about Roman.

Last episode gave a lot of information to think about. But I’d like to concentrate on our princy-royal boy. Putting Others First made it completely clear that Roman is very insecure (that part, when he started to tell his opinion, but quickly stopped himself cuz “come on, that’s stupid, let’s forget about it”) and can’t think wider than white-and-black morals. But why could that happen? Well, I think because Ro has some big issues with trusting others. The only person he could trust was always Patton - we can see it in many episodes, where Roman is mean to others but sweet with Patton - and he was his moral compass. And before the last episode Pat had the same morality as Roman has - black-and-white. At the same time he doesn’t trust anyone else, except, maybe, Thomas. With them he is rude and bitchy, like a child, who is trying to push away things that he doesn’t understand and don’t want to understand. In his ideal world there are heroes and villains, and him and Patton and Thomas are definitely the first ones. So when Patton came to the “villain” side, it totally breaks the perfect world in Roman’s head - he is lost and doesn’t know what to do and how to act. He is used to do things that right, not what he want. And he doesn’t know anymore what’s right and what’s wrong. So he tries to defend himself like he always does - but he didn’t expect that no one will support him anymore.

God, I so hope that in the next episode my precious child will be okay…

So about Roman being insecure in his answers and anything he’s thinking huh,,,

His world has been flipped upside and exploded right in his face. I wonder how he’s going to cover up his emotions in the next episode if he will show up at all?

Also thinking about how when Roman realizes his emotions are on display he lashed out immediately even if it is Patton or someone trying to talk to him calmly, which is dramatic and angsty and hoo I love that man.
