Also he's playing with his left hand on the bow, literally the reverse of what he should do. Which I have a few theories:

A) it's a reference of the left hand and right hand debate, where writing with your left was seen as demonic. So he's actually a left hand person, so the saying the left hand is the hand of the devil it's factual true

B) Some Irish fiddle players actually played like that, but it means you have to take apart the violin and customize it to play with your right hand instead. But you cannot play in an orchestra with "normal" instruments (because the direction you're playing (←⁠_⁠←) is opposite of the others (→⁠_⁠→)), it means you play solos or with few people with the same customized instrument.
