today i’m thinking about how riodice always seeks each other out/how they always find each other no matter the media they’re in

i’m pretty much making hifumi’s necklace, but technically i’m making the matenrou matching outfit thing all the divisions do (i.e. the patches on buster bros’ jackets, fling posse star, triangles in mtc, and crosses in matenrou) for my keychain since i’m making a symbol for all of the divisions; some of them are going to be patches, others pins and charms such as this.

this would’ve originally been a patch alongside everything else, but after studying the design some i realized it really wouldn’t be that hard to create at all. i’ve actually made two of my own rings, so i have jewerly experience (see down below)

i also know a place that has jewerly equipment that is easy for me to access, so i’m definitely gonna follow through on this project and i’m going to be updating here for sure.

i also bought some mad trigger pins from etsy so making all patches was kind of useless if it wasn’t balanced out, but making the necklace/charm makes it so that it is.

this is going to be a new experience for me since i don’t know much about jewelry (only the basics) but i hope it’ll be enjoyable for me as it is you to follow along on the journey if you decide to join me

i think i’ll also make this a little series for the patches i create, too; although, i’ll be using an embroidery machine for that, so we’ll see.

anyway, i’m done rambling on that. i’ll move onto the actual jewerly part.

i’m not sure how i’m going to get the ridges i want while also keeping a flat back for comfort (not that i know how to keep the ridges in the first place), but i have a few ideas, such as:

creating seperate plates and fusing them all together instead of working from a base

mold a base and then add a new one on

figure it out as we go

if anybody with more jeweler experience would like to help, it’d be greatly appreciated! i’ll also probably share the scraps here, too.

the second thing is a sealant for silver copper so it doesn’t dirty; i learnt my lesson from my first ring and although i know copper is a naturally disinfecting metal, i rather have to clean it off every now and then when i want to wear it because i’m definitely bound to forget

i might let it sit for a few days without it, though, and see how bad it gets first before i decide on that

• Rio is a very logical person because of the time he spent in the military, so he doesn’t quite get emotions, but he tries his best (personally I think Dice helps him with this).

• Rio messes with his dog tag as a nervous habit.

• On the Dice has picked up habits; I think he learns things very quickly. I also still believe he can pick things up from sight, but simpler things and typically stuff he already knows how to do. Otherwise, being the friendly person he is, he asks.

i can’t believe riodice is a rarepair/considered a crack ship when they have canon interactions

black line records didn’t give them canon interactions where rio is smiling so much only for it to go ignored by the fandom smfh

look at the way rio looks at dice!! then tell me they’re not in love! there is so much love in that gaze that i refuse to believe they aren’t in love; at the very least, one-sided
