For fallout, there is a mod for carrying weight on the PlayStation called spouses embrace, it adds the extra weight to your wedding ring and it puts it up an extra 500 if you didn’t want to play vanilla fallout

Awesome! I found a similar mod, I think. My only gripe with mods is it disables trophies/achievements. Apparently there's a mod that reactivates them but I can't find it lol.

Started playing Fallout 4 for the first time (on PS5 with the next-gen update) and my only complaint so far is that some of the workshop mechanics are kinda stupid. Took me forever to figure out how to get out of the power armor and put it on the work station lol.

Oh, and there's too little carrying capacity and too much junk to collect!

It's unfair that I'm supposed to be out here trying to find my son and fight to survive in a nuclear wasteland, yet they also throw a Sims situation at me?? I'm building a whole-ass settlement?!!

A radiation storm blew in and I decided to turn in for the night lmao.

Felt so good to go out and see a show for the first time in ages. My university's theatre department is doing The Prom, which obviously holds a very special place in my heart as I was a hardcore fan of it while it was on Broadway. They did an incredible job. The girl playing Emma has a beautiful voice and managed to make Emma her own in a whole new way. Also her lil pink carabiner and her shirt that said Lavender Menace were some solid design choices.

I'd say, feel all of your feelings and if you need to let go, then do. As the queen of repressed emotions I can tell you that keeping it together is just not always the best solution. If your life/work/future are in imminent danger, then by all means focus on the task at hand and wait until you are home alone to eat your favorite snack while you breakdown. But if neither your life, work or future are at play, just fucking let go and make sure to enjoy the ride... one of us has to be able to do it, and since I cannot then it's gotta be you bud.

I mean, my grandpa is in Stage 4 heart failure and his kidneys are at 20% function. We don't know how much longer we have left with him, but whatever is left will be in and out of the hospital, which is where he is right now.

His only living child, my mother, is basically an agoraphobe who won't do anything to help anyone.

My grandmother has dementia and we (meaning me, my sister, my cousin and my dad) have to take care of her.

Earlier this year, I found out my dad has apparently been an alcoholic for years without me or my sister knowing. He went to in-patient rehab for a month and came back, started going to AA, and seemed to be doing okay. Then he got his knee-replacement surgery and everything started happening with my grandfather, but he (my dad) was stuck in the house with my mom and her bullshit so now he's slipping and drinking again.

All of this on top of a full-time job and trying to have some semblance of a normal life and happiness... I can't do it.

"In a historic “first-of-its-kind” agreement the government of British Colombia has acknowledged the aboriginal ownership of 200 islands off the west coast of Canada.

The owners are the Haida nation, and rather than the Canadian government giving something to a First Nation, the agreement admits that the “Xhaaidlagha Gwaayaai” or the “islands at the end of world,” always belonged to them, a subtle yet powerful difference in the wording of First Nations negotiating.

BC Premier David Eby called the treaty “long overdue” and once signed, will clear the way for half a million hectares (1.3 million acres) of land to be managed by the Haida.

Postal service, shipping lanes, school and community services, private property rights, and local government jurisdiction, will all be unaffected by the agreement, which will essentially outline that the Haida decide what to do with the 200 or so islands and islets.

“We could be facing each other in a courtroom, we could have been fighting each other for years and years, but we chose a different path,” said Minister of Indigenous Relations of BC, Murray Rankin at the signing ceremony, who added that it took creativity and courage to “create a better world for our children.”

Indeed, making the agreement outside the courts of the formal treaty process reflects a vastly different way of negotiating than has been the norm for Canada.

“This agreement won’t only raise all boats here on Haida Gwaii – increase opportunity and prosperity for the Haida people and for the whole community and for the whole province – but it will also be an example and another way for nations – not just in British Columbia, but right across Canada – to have their title recognized,” said Eby.

In other words, by deciding this outside court, Eby and the province of BC hope to set a new standard for how such land title agreements are struck."
