they ran a show about detransitioners. Which is a point used infamously to discredit the validity of trans people (there are several anti trans/anti gender non-binary groups that use it). It's not a genuine care about people misunderstanding themselves. If it was care, the solution wouldn't be convincing the public to hesitate support for trans people and encouraging blocking/putting obstacles for trans care. People wouldn't have to go through so much to discover themselves if it wasn't so stigmatised. Supporting gender freedoms and good mental health systems helps everyone. This discourse just hurts everyone and sets the public perception back for no good reason.

Only like 4% (https://www.gendergp.com/detransition-facts/) of trans people regret transition. No wonder the person in the show turns out to actually not regret transitioning...

Child Safety and Youth Justice workers in my state (Queensland, Australia) are forming together in a union coordinated by https://together.org.au/ against underfunding. Cases are piling up, people are unable to continue the job under the pressure, and it comes with recent issues with youth crime. More incarceration and underfunding won't help lower youth crime. Queensland needs to fund it's intervention and restorative work.
