He released his 15th solo studio album titled Silver City and he has just released his first ever country album, titled Dream Train.

Musician John McEuen is best known as a founding member of The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band (NGDB), a pioneering country and folk-rock band formed in 1966.
The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band’s breakthrough came with their 1970 album "Uncle Charlie & His Dog Teddy”
The band's versatility and innovative approach to music led to their induction into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame in 2015.
He has collaborated with a diverse range of artists, including Earl Scruggs, Dolly Parton, and his long-time friend, Steve Martin.

This Week:
Known for their successful collaboration with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra in July 2005 with "Zeppelin Flies Again," marked a remarkable achievement in their career. The synergy between the Zep Boys and the orchestra resulted in an astonishing success.
Subsequently, the band extended their collaborative efforts with orchestras, gracing renowned venues such as the Sydney Opera House, Hammersmith Odeon in London, and various locations across the UK and Europe.
For the past 15 years, the Zep Boys have prioritized working with orchestras, creating memorable performances.
Now, however, the band is eager to return to their roots and revisit the pubs where they initially flourished. Vince Contarino expresses the band's sentiment, stating, "We've toured with orchestras playing to sold-out houses globally, but it's the 'true believers' who are responsible for our success in band mode, over hundreds of gigs and lineup changes, we are thrilled to return to The Gov, where we've experienced some of the most legendary Zep Boys shows. We are incredibly excited for this homecoming!"

Leland Sklar has been a prominent figure among Hollywood session bassists with more than 2000 albums to his credit dating back to the 1970s and still counting.
His very recognisable bass playing style has been heard on hits by Linda Ronstadt, James Taylor, Hall & Oates, Jackson Browne, Carole King, Phil Collins, Keith Richards, Reba McEntire to name just a few.
Over the years Leland has worked with most of the top session players in Hollywood and is especially close to his long-time friends and members of “The Immediate Family” with drummer Russ Kunkel, guitarists Dan Kortchmar and Steve Postell.
Today the Immediate Family can legitimately be called a supergroup. They have a new album and are the subject of a brand new documentary.

Elly-May Barnes’ debut album, No Good, will be released through ABC Music.
“No Good” brings together an A-Team of Elly-May’s family, loved ones and huge musical influences - who just happen to be the crème de la crème of the Australian and New Zealand music industry.
Neil Finn wrote a song with Elly-May for the album. “She’s A Thought” has a shimmering melody, harmonies and words to match.
Don Walker, gave the ‘Cold Chisel’ classic 20th Century a modern makeover titled “21st Century”
Twice named Producer of the Year (CMA) and singer/songwriter Shane Nicholson (Suze DeMarchi, Alex Lloyd, Catherine Britt) has produced half the songs on “No Good” with Elly-May.
Mark Lizotte (Diesel) produced the other half of the album, as well as contributing a number of songs.
Davey Lane (You Am I, The Pictures, The Wrights, The Stems, Chris Bailey & The Saints) who has appeared onstage with Elly-May at a number of her cabaret shows, contributed four songs on “No Good” including the title track “No Good” and “Baby Don’t Slow Me Down” which were co-written with Elly-May.

Tom Petersson is a musician best known as the bassist and co-founder of the iconic rock band Cheap Trick.
In the early 1970s, Petersson co-founded Cheap Trick with guitarist Rick Nielsen, drummer Bun E. Carlos, and vocalist Robin Zander.
The band quickly gained recognition for their high-energy performances, catchy melodies, and fusion of hard rock, pop, and punk influences.
His innovative bass playing can be heard on many of the band's hit songs, including "Surrender," "I Want You to Want Me," "Dream Police," and "The Flame."

Ian Gillan was one of the foremost vocalists of the heavy metal scene that emerged in the ‘70s. Earning his greatest celebrity as a member of Deep Purple.
He was featured on a series of hugely successful Deep Purple recordings including Fireball, Machine Head, Made in Japan and Who Do We Think We Are.
“Smoke on the Water” from the album Machine Head peaked in the US Top Five and went gold, becoming Deep Purple’s biggest ever career hit.
These days Gillan remains at the helm of Deep Purple and the album “Machine Head - Deluxe 50th Anniversary Edition” has just been released.
Currently living on the coast in Portugal he’s working on the band’s next studio album - number 23 - with long-time band mates Roger Glover and Ian Paice.
They’re getting set for yet another Deep Purple tour kicking off in Australia.

Elliott has recorded and performed with, The Doobie Brothers, Carly Simon, Seatrain, The Blues Brothers, Carl Wilson, Peter Wolf, Peter Frampton, James Galway, Richie Havens, The Rochester Philharmonic and The American Symphony Orchestra, among many others.
