All Aboard for Nights In the 305!
As a true artist cultivating sincere work, Eyme XY reached for new heights for her debut release in November 2017. Miami’s sultry songstress embarked on a journey to express the true essence of her experiences in the 305, sharing a special memoir with her listeners. I truly admire Eyme’s branding and marketing with edgy looks and relatable content of her journey. Her consistent and strong presence on social media platforms stand out in the sea of growing artists. vocalist and songwriter released her debut R & B album, Nights in the 305, and pulled a Yoncé with an entire visual album to top it off. Taking place in year 2086, the audio album encompasses eight tracks taking you on a futuristic ride to Miami through heavy 808s and keys emitting a pure R&B aesthetic. The visual album showcases beaches, motels, and other wonders of local Miami, paying homage to the beauty of the city. Eyme graces the camera with big curly hair, bodysuits, and baggy jeans as she fancies her favorite icon, Aaliyah. I love that she chooses to promote sensuality without nudity in all her looks. A woman with class is timeless and appreciated in our time of self-sexualization.

Her sound has evolved considering her singles, “BAD4U,” and “UGotMe,” dating a few years back. Eyme brings a 90s vibe with futuristic elements of long riffs, keys, kicks, and simple 808 beats evoking a smooth sway and constant head nod throughout the entire project. My personal favorite tracks are: “X-Scape the Real” featuring NumbYouNov, “Supreme Nights,” “Get More,” and “Vintage Nostalgia.” Eyme worked closely with videographers, producers, and visual creatives across Miami and New York to execute her vision. This project is full of love discovery, adventure, and divine essence of a woman finding herself. Take a ride through Nights in the 305 and watch the story unfold.

Tama Gucci Sets Us Free with Out of Order
Tama Gucci has recently released his experimental debut mixtape, Out of Order, which he says is “filled with 3 years worth of emotions and long nights and a lot of weed” sourcing from his Soundcloud playlist bio. Kymani Floyd is a Miami artist that is definitely a love warrior in all its beauty and pain. Leaving an emotionally abusive relationship, reclaiming his right to be truly loved and his self-worth, Tama Gucci has curated this anticipated body of work. Made of fourteen tracks, the mixtape is a compilation of sensual love songs and pure freedom of self. I was impressed by his inclusion of various producers across the country and world such as DNGR from Philadelphia, BLVC SVND from L.A., and Otro from Spain. This project is an extended invitation to join Gucci in his world of thoughts while being clear of his intentions to do as he pleases. The motto is to do what you want, when you want. The “Masculine or Feminine Interlude” samples the iconic 1985 Grace Jones interview clarifying that freedom of choice has no rules but is rather fluid. My select tracks are “Lower My Shades,” “Lexus,” “What I Wanna Hear,” and “Two Hoe’s.” Atypical to current Miami music, the project is entirely experimental with drum beats, r&b grooves, keys, and synthesizers setting an 80s vibe. Let loose, indulge in what feels good, and get Out of Order.

Aminé Debuts Anticipated Good For You Album
Many, including myself, have eyes on Aminé after dropping a debut studio album for free! The viral rapper releases his Good For You album under Republic Records on Soundcloud, Itunes, Amazon, and Spotify. I’m stunned by the album’s few features including Ty Dolla Sign, Kehlani, Migos’ Offset, and even Charlie Wilson – whaaat? If you have Mr. Wilson on your track, you’re doing something right. The Portland based rapper infuses the album with tongue-in-cheek humor, eccentricity, and smooth vocals. Yes, don’t forget the young man can carry a note pretty well too!
Overall, the album won me over with creativity, production, and variety of sound. My songs picks are: “Veggies,” “Spice Girl,” “Turf,” “Money,” and definitely “Caroline.” I’m sure you wouldn’t hesitate to listen considering he’s sitting on a toilet on the album cover. Young, yet ahead of his time, Amine delivers a message of doing what he loves for just that and not for the motivation of money. This atypical rap project is a perfect summer album for the young, fun and restless. Listen here.

Ryahn Drops Unapologetic Freestyle
If you are not aware of this gem, standby as I introduce you. South Florida’s goddess of sound, Ryahn, relentlessly pushes her undenying love for creating music. I fell in love with her single, “Ease Ur Mind,” with strong, playful vocals over melodic acoustic riffs. I’m stoked over her recent track, “Came A Long Way (Freestyle),” with over 1000 plays in one week! This freestyle speaks to anyone with a dream to get paid in their creative passion. She holds the struggling artist reality dear to her heart as she expresses always enjoying life and working towards her greatness. I feel you babygirl and many of us sure do! Ryahn channels letting go effortlessly on this track with her subtle giggles and sultry ad-libs. She tried something different with this track adding more 808 beats, kicks and even rapping. Also, she’s anti fuckboy…so she’s a babe for sure.
Listen to her recent single here!! Check out the rest of her work on Ryahn’s Soundcloud.
