...it should be Kirk Cobain on identity.
Did you know the last name Cobain is Irish? It came from the county, Cork, where he played once, and he “walked around in a daze”, “never feeling more spiritual in his life.”
Pretty KEWL. Watch the whole thing. Do it. Dare ya.
ps. Blank on Blank recreates interviews that are possibly the most productive use of your procrastination, ever. Fascinating figures are talked to on super intimate levels.

Meet Colonel Meow, for this week's internet cat.
He has just about the most aggressive face I've ever seen, thanks to the mad scientist hair and perpetually disapproving eyes. He also appears scarily similar to Ron Swanson.

Whatcha up to this weekend?
If you don't know the answer to this question, grab a friend, or yo cat, or just yo brain and ponder the following couple of suggestions. Or go rollerskating. ^
Homegrown Coffee is throwing a partay of local music. Currently listening to Max the Lesser who's performing there, and if he's any indication of what's to come... should be a damn good show. He reminds me of a younger version of Neil Young, and each song carries you through a beautiful, effortless story.
After the Silhouette's very own Tobi Abdul talked about the growing world of slam poetry, I've been aching to hear something like it. The Roots en Route Festival is happening this weekend. Andrea Thompson, deemed a pioneer of slam poetry, is taking the stage. Yeah, I'm sold. Pioneers of anything are da shiz.

...it should be just how far we haven't come in the path towards gender equality. A perspective very much needed.

LifeStyle decided to spread the love this February by sharing our favourite internet cats each week.
Starting the month off right, a gem never seen before by the likes of LS, meet Snoopybabe.
Snoopybabe generally looks a little lost and confused, but that's her charm. And who needs puppy eyes to get what you want when you have snoopybabelicious eyes.

Silly Thursdays!
The Sil is out!
Here are two goodies.
Be sure to read Confessions of a Single Guy to learn about unicorns' dating lives. That was a white lie, but it is an honest piece on navigating through life's endless questions about why one is still single.
And with Halloween around the corner, get that costume in order! It won't be painful, we promise, especially with these two easy DIY costumes for the fellas.
