What do you do?
What do you do when you lose your finger? It was there not too long ago, it was a part of you; part of your identity. Sure, the stump is a stark reminder that it's there, but like any limb that no longer is, there's a ghost of its presence. Lingering, weightless it's carried by your body as if it still remains. A phantom pain that can't be soothed.

please make sure that wherever you’re at in life, you don’t treat it like a transitory period. don’t waste your college years wishing to already be graduated & have a job. don’t waste your single years wishing for someone to be in love with. if/when those things come, they will come in due time and they will be good. but there is nothing like looking back and feeling empty because you wasted literal years ignoring what you had because you were hoping for something better. while it’s important to better yourself and reach for your goals, don’t neglect the present because that’s where you are now and it’s your now that determines your future.

When she was lamenting over Kiyoshi's obsession with Chiyo. There are a few things i have to say about this series; and in particular about this absurd love triangle. Kiyoshi was just a horny teen in a sea of women when the manga started, and although most of the girls were either instructed to ignore the boys or simply didnt wish to speak with them, when Chiyo acknowledged his presence he was obsessed. A boy's first love is hard forgotten.
However as the manga went on it became clearer and clearer through Kiyoshi's actions that Chiyo would never find true happiness with him, and vice-versa. As he himself stated later in the series, his relationship with her had been built on a lie! She had no clue how much of a pervert he was exactly and the type of things he had done. Only one actually knew just how twisted a man he was. Hana Midorikawa.
Hana is virtually perfect for him, and the opposite is also true. This is even symbolized by the Underwear Swap. They accidentally wear each others under garments, having rushed to get re-dressed after Hana finally gets her revenge on Kiyoshi. They both feel strange and uncomfortable in them at first but the pairs stretch and fit and conform to the new bodies filling them; an excellent and poignant metaphor for two people growing to love each other. KIYOSHI EVEN STATES THAT HE COULDNT HAVE CONFESSED HIS LOVE TO CHIYO CHAN IF HE HADNT WORN HANA'S PANTIES! This should illustrate both that hes meant to love Hana, and that he's oblivious as all hell.
While i am disappointed by this ending, i think the foreshadowing st around chapter 170 or so, in the panel after Hana gets her revenge, where future versions of them walk past each other on the street without a word elsewise. This shows us that desoite Hana's best efforts, and the love and yearning she holds deep in her heart, ultimately they will never be together.
Kiyoshi did absolutely all of this to himself. While keeping his tunnel vision focused on Chiyo, he proceeds to paint her nearly as an object to be worshipped in his head. This obsession leads him to swindle money from friends, allies, and even Hana; their date ultimately only is facilitated because Hana craved his attention and he craved the funds to surprise Chiyo. The only one dishonest throughout the ordeal was he himself, although Hana wasnt honest about her feelings and Chiyo was far too naive for her own good.
Ultimately, this ending was a depressing one once you piece things together. In fact, im only writing this to quiet my thoughts and soothe the slight pain i felt never getting to see them openly love each other. Having read around, pondered and researched after finishing it I can say Im no longer dissatisfied; im only hurt that Hana never got the love she deserved, even though Kiyoshi deserved neither her nor Chiyo. Kiyoshi doesnt even deserve Chiyo based on the fact that he wiuld wear another girls panties to confess his love to her. Nevermind that he wouldnt reveal his true nature as a pervert unless Hana were there to do it for him
One was too naive; one was dishonest; one was obsessed. In the end, none of them deserved esch other. Such is love i suppose.

So, we made this episode about Muslims and Islam. With everything going on in the Middle East (still, for fucks sake), its important to keep in mind that Muslim =/= terrorist or ISIS. We had the parliament hill attacks sure. But whatever happened to plain old fuckin crazy? Crazies will identify with whatever justifies or supports their insanities.
So here’s Let Me Tell You Why That’s Bullshit episode 2

New show were working on called "Let Me Tell You Why That's Bullshit!" Be excited, bitches! Were factually knocking down misconceptions about marijuana legalisation, feminism, welfare dependency, and how many times we can insult entire groups of people in the space of 5 minutes.

I am speechless. I am speechless that two hours away from where I live, over a hundred and forty children have died. I am speechless. My brothers, my sisters. They aren’t with us anymore, and I am speechless. I can’t tell you how much I’ve cried today, I can’t tell you how depressed, disgusted, sad, horrified and shocked I am at this act of terrorism in the name of ‘God’.
It’s numbing to even try and think about what the mothers and fathers and brothers and sisters feel like right now - I can’t even imagine what it’s like, to send your child to school asking him to do his very best on his mid year, telling him you believe in him, telling him not to leave a single question empty. He left the world instead.
Please don’t think we aren’t important because we aren’t from the well known Western countries. Please don’t let the lives lost be defined by race, language, nation. Please don’t think we deserve this because our oppressors and us, we share a religion - because if these terrorists are ‘muslims’, then I am not. (And believe me when I tell you they’re not. They don’t know anything about Islam, because if they did they would hesitate to use harsh words, let alone guns.)
It takes two seconds to make a prayer. It takes two seconds to spread the word. It takes two seconds to make someone see that the oppressed and oppressors are different, even if they share a religon.
I hope you will remember that little, innocent children and teachers did not ask for this. I hope you will remember that a teacher got burned alive trying to save the students. I hope you will remember that raising your voice against evil is the first step to eliminate it from our society.
