I was on my fifth rewatch of good omens 2 right? Right. And I realized why Aziraphale said ‘I forgive you’ after Crowley kissed him. Either I’m just slow or everyone else noticed and hasnt said anything cause I haven’t seen anyone else talk about it.

Aziraphale wasn’t saying ‘I forgive you for kissing me’ he’s saying ‘I forgive you for choosing your freedom over me’ ‘I forgive you for not wanting to be with me when I’m giving you a chance for us to be safe’ that’s what he means. Gods it’s breaking my heart.

They care so much about each other’s safety and wanting a better place for the other but they don’t know how to properly tell the other and because of it they think the other hates eachother now. They won’t ever stop fighting for a better place for the two of them the thing is they don’t communicate.

Aziraphale forgave Crowley because he think he didn’t choose him. I’m gonna go sit on I-95 now luv ya. Neil Gaimen u depressing genius how I adore your angsty writing. I aspire to be like that one day.
