Childhood friends to lovers AU
I’m thinking a situation similar to Princess and the Frog; Nampheung worked for the Theerapanyakuls, so her sons naturally grew up alongside theirs. They aren’t there all the time, but occasionally, when Pat can’t watch them for whatever reason, they come alone with her. Mrs. T doesn’t mind the company, and Korn is busy working, it can be their little secret.
This has more of an impact on Porchay; Porsche is older than him, so depending on when this takes place, he could be in school a lot of the time, while Porchay is brought along with his mother. She’s paid well, but not well enough to support a full-time nanny for her youngest, and she doesn’t want a stranger raising him, anyway.
Nampheung starts as just a maid. Her and Mrs. T become friends, of course, are maybe even pregnant at the same time with Porsche and Kinn. They support each other through the pregnancies, and joke about how rambunctious the boys are, how much trouble they’ll get up to when they’re born. Then Mrs. T has Kim a few years later, and Nampheung has Porchay a few years after that. (Maybe she was hired to help Mrs. T take care of the house while she was pregnant with Tankhun? And then just. Never ended her contract.)
So the boys grow up together. The mothers are best friends, as close as sisters, and their boys are the same… in the beginning. Tankhun becomes a wild little thing, and Kinn, while seemingly mature in his efforts to please his father, has a fiery temper, and Porsche is the same. Kim and Porchay are like little blessing to make up for them; Kim is quiet, keeps to himself, rarely cried as a baby and even as he ages, he was always very withdrawn. Not in a bad way; he was just soulful, a still waters run deep kind of person. Porchay is the complete opposite. He was a little bundle of joy that everyone immediately falls in love with.
Kinn and Porsche are the worst of enemies and the best of friends, depending on the day. It’s honestly impressive how quickly they can go from playing to fighting to playing again, pulling hair and screaming one moment, and hugging the next. Meanwhile Kim is like the shadow to Porchay’s sunshine, always lingering around him, just out of reach.
This continues into teen-and-adulthood. Kinn and Porsche have a fiery on-again off-again relationship all throughout high school. Meanwhile Kim and Chay are steady; never more than friends, both of them always happy to be with the other without asking for more. Chay eventually realizes he likes boys too; Kim realizes he doesn’t like anyone as much as he likes Chay, but that’s Chay. And since he has no one else to compare to, Kim doesn’t notice the difference between friend love and romantic love, especially since Chay has just. Always been there. He doesn’t have a before-Chay to compare too, either.
There’s always still going to be that class divide between Obscenely Rich Employer and Employee, no matter how much they all care about each other. They only see each other occasionally when they’re older because Kinn and Porsche go to the very affluent private schools, and their afternoons are filled with extracurriculars that take up their time, while Porsche and Chay go the public schools close to home, and can’t afford many after school activities. There’s no jealously (most of the time…) but that is something that’s always there.
Although Kim tries to meet Chay halfway; as soon as he sees Chay’s longing looks at his guitar, Kim starts teaching him what he learns at his lessons whenever he can. And sometimes they sneak out at night together, looking for trouble, which Chay always gets them out of with his innocent smiles and sunny disposition that no one can stay mad at for long.
They stay up all night talking, lying side by side in Kim’s bed, closer than they need to be because it’s honestly massive but they’re so used to being close that personal space is never a question. They gossip about their brother’s latest spat, laughing at how dumb they are, and Kim squishes Chay’s cheeks whenever he gives him that big smile, because Kim doesn’t like anyone to touch him but he likes touching Chay, and in the morning Chay won’t sneak home because the kittisawat’s are always welcome in the theerapanyakul household.
Eventually Kim will wise up to the fact that the reason he’s never liked anyone else is because he’s already been in love with Chay this whole time, and he’ll panic about it a little bit. Maybe talk to Kinn or Porsche for advice. Kinn gives him generic How To Gay advice, but then Porsche walks in and tells him to stop being dumb and just ask Chay out already, because come on. They were really the last to know about their own feelings. They’re practically dating already.

it all feels the same with your eyes closed (deep end, part 1)
A/N: This mini series needs a content warning for suicidal ideation, domestic violence, and excessive alcohol consumption. (I told y’all I was gonna throw some angst at ya.)
Things had been tense around base since the return of Task Force 141 after an unsuccessful mission. Mistakes had been made, resulting in the loss of personnel and vital intel.
The main core personnel of the Task Force were currently in a meeting, discussing information for an upcoming mission. The meeting was already tense, but it escalated as Simon and Juliana were arguing back and forth about protocols.
“I AM YOUR SUPERIOR OFFICER. I’M THE ONE IN CHARGE HERE.” Simon yells at Juliana before backhanding her across the face so hard that she stumbles back.
The room goes silent, shock spreading among everyone as they stare at the couple.
Simon throws a vicious glare at Juliana before spitting out the final piece of the argument. “Get the fuck out of my sight.”
She doesn’t bother to grab her things before sprinting out of the room.
Simon stares at the door she left through for a brief second, before turning to the rest of the room. Tensions were high, but he was trying to remain calm after his outburst. “I’m sorry you had to witness that. I’ll handle this. We’ll continue later.” He says gruffly.
He sighed internally. What was she so upset about anyway? Simon doesn’t like fighting with her, but lately it’s been happening more and more.
“Witness that? Simon, you just hit your girlfriend, not to mention you just assaulted a fellow soldier, IN FRONT OF WITNESSES.” Captain Price roars.
Simon flinches at Price’s reaction, and tries to defend his actions without being rude. “I wouldn’t have hit her without reason. I had to do what I did. It’s not like I’m proud of it. I’ll handle it, and apologize to her personally.”
“Good luck getting her to hold still long enough to do that.” Soap mutters under his breath.
“Soap!” Simon whirls on Johnny, glaring at him intensely. “Are you insinuating what I think you are right now?”
“It depends, sir,” Soap addressed him mockingly. “What is it you think I’m insinuating?”
Simon’s voice became harsh, as he spoke quickly. “I want a straight answer, Soap. Are you implying that she’s going to be so furious, that she’s going to fight me?”
“I’m implying, sir,” Soap mocks again, “That you’ll be hard pressed to even find her and get her to listen long enough for you to say the words ‘I’m sorry’, without her bolting. There’s a reason we call her Bambi.”
Simon sighed, he knew Johnny was right. She would disappear the minute she saw him. He had to do something.
His mind raced, trying to think of a plan. He didn’t know where she’d run off to, he just knew she was angry. Very angry.
“I’ll find her. I’ll make sure she hears me out.” Simon huffs.
“You’d better get this sorted out, and fast Simon. We’re getting deployed again in a few weeks, and we need this team 100% together.” Captain Price says sternly.
Simon nods, still pissed that this even became a fight in the first place. “She’ll come around. I’ll make sure of it.”
He then turns to Johnny and Kyle. “You two keep your mouths shut about this. Especially you, Soap. We don’t need anymore drama. Are we clear?”
Johnny looks him squarely in the eye. “If she wants to fill out a SHARP violation report against you, I’ll happily sign as a witness.”
“Soap…” Simon sighs. He doesn’t want any more trouble. He just needs Juliana to understand her place in the chain of command. He needs her to understand why he did what he did. He can’t afford to lose his job because of one stupid mistake. He needs to not let his temper get the better of him. He needs a break.
He looked at Johnny, then Kyle, then Price, then back at Johnny. “Soap, don’t force me into doing something drastic over this. Understood?”
“What, are you gonna hit me too? Beat me into submission? No wonder Bambi is so banged up all the time.” Johnny spits venomously.
Simon growls angrily. He was already on edge, and now this? He had a serious urge to hit something, but he held it in.
“You think it’s funny, making jokes about this?” He clenches his fists, setting them down harshly on the table. He lets out a deep breath, trying to get himself under control. “I’m warning you, Soap. For the last time, keep your mouth shut, or I’ll make you. Got it?”
“It’s not a joke, not this time.” Johnny growls. “This had to have escalated from somewhere. You make a regular habit of hitting your girlfriend to get what you want?”
Simon’s mind goes blank. A regular habit of hitting her? A sense of shock went through his system. He didn’t know Johnny could think of him that way.
“Don’t assume you know anything, Soap.” He says coldly. “I don’t go around hitting her all the time. I’ve only done it once. Just this one time. One. Time.”
“That’s what they all say.” Johnny sneers at him.
Simon took a deep breath trying to keep everything under control. He couldn’t believe Johnny was saying all of this.
“Soap, I swear to God, I only hit her this once. It was my fault, but I’ve never done it, and I won’t do it again. You’re only making this worse. We are supposed to be a team. Remember?”
“Yeah. Teammates are supposed to protect each other. They don’t backhand each other during arguments.” Soap retorts.
Simon knew he was in the wrong for hitting Juliana. He felt bad for hitting her, but he felt like he couldn’t admit that in front of Johnny, he was already digging himself in way too deep.
“I’m sorry, okay? I shouldn’t have done it, you’re right. I let my anger get the best of me. It won’t happen again.”
He stared at the floor while he tried to figure out what to say next.
“Please, let’s just try to work through this. Don’t go around telling anyone else about this.”
“Fine.” Soap scoffs. “I won’t say anything. But if I catch even a hint that something is off, I’ll file the damn SHARP report myself.” Johnny stands up to leave, pausing in the doorway. “I wouldn’t be surprised if she was halfway through writing up a unit transfer request already.”
Simon watched as Johnny left the room. What had he done? How could he let his anger take control of him like that? Would Juliana really file a transfer request because of all this? Would he lose everything over this? And why was Johnny so defensive of her?
“Damnit.” He muttered. “I really need to talk to her. Now.”
Why had Johnny been so protective of Juliana? What is going on here?
Johnny must have known something Simon didn’t, something he wasn’t telling Simon. But that wasn’t important. He needs to go find Juliana and fix all of this.
Unless… unless Johnny really does know something. Maybe it will help Simon figure out where it all went wrong.
“Fucking hell.” Simon swore. Johnny might be the only one who might know something about what’s going on, or where Juliana went. As much as he hated the idea, asking Johnny was worth a shot.
He made his way to Johnny’s room, and knocked on the door. He just wanted to talk to the man and hear what he had to say himself.
Johnny opened the door. “Come to take a shot at another teammate?”
Simon glared at him. “You know what, Soap?” He growled. “Quit your bullshit. I know that you know where Bambi is, and I know you know why she’s mad. So tell me. Now.”
Johnny leveled him with a cool stare. “I don’t know where she is.” He said plainly.
“I don’t believe you. Why were you defending her so much?” Simon asks. He knew there was something happening that he didn’t know about. He could feel it, he just doesn’t know what it’s about. “I need the real reason, Soap.”
“Why wouldn’t I defend her!? I’ve had family go through what she has, and I’m not about to let her go through it alone again.”
‘Had family members go through….’? What the hell? Simon’s eyes widened a bit. When it clicked, Simon was surprised to hear that Johnny had a family history of domestic abuse. He hadn’t realized that that was the reason Johnny defended Juliana so much.
Johnny thought Simon was abusing her…
“So, you know something about her past, then?” He asks.
Johnny’s eyes widened. “You… you mean she hasn’t told… you?”
Simon frowned. Why hadn’t she told him anything about that part of her past? He was confused.
“No. She didn’t. And now I need to know, Soap. What happened?”
He ran his hands over his balaclava. Maybe this was the reason she got so upset? If this was the case, then he needed to tread very carefully, at least until he figured out more of what was going on.
“I don’t know the whole story, just bits and pieces, but enough to know that it was bad. Like, really bad. Almost career ending bad.” Johnny explained.
Simon was slightly disturbed by that description. He couldn’t imagine what might have happened for her to be reacting like this. He couldn’t imagine what she had gone through. What did Johnny mean by ‘almost career ending’?
“Can you at least give me some sort of basic idea? Anything, Soap, please.” Simon never pleads, ever, but right now he is. He looked at Johnny, worry and concern evident in his eyes.
“Juliana had gotten into a relationship of sorts with someone on her team, and when the guy got promoted, he outranked her, he became her superior officer.” Johnny begins. “He started getting violent with her behind closed doors, especially whenever she’d disagree with him about missions or protocols.” He pauses. “I know at one point, he hurt Jules so badly she was in the ICU for six days, and she almost got medically discharged from service. That’s when she finally put in for a transfer.”
Simon’s face paled under his mask. His hands shook slightly, but he wasn’t sure if it was from anger at himself or at the guy who hurt Juliana. This was too much for one person to carry alone.
“And… she went through all of that…. Alone? She never said anything to me, ever!” Simon sighed. “I need to find her and make sure she’s okay. I’ve fucked up, and I’m the only one who can fix this.”
Johnny shakes his head. “The only reason she told me was because she overheard me talking on the phone with my sister about a similar issue, and she offered her help. Otherwise, I don’t think she ever would have said anything.”
Simon ran his hands down his face. “So… if she hasn’t told me anything about it… I guess she doesn’t want me to know… Did she ever go into any detail about what happened, or about who this person might be?”
“She never specified, she just said someone from a previous unit. Refused to say when or where.” Johnny explains.
Simon nods. “Alright. Well… thank you for at least telling me this, Soap. I would’ve never known.”
He couldn’t believe that he hadn’t ever noticed something like this. He had always known Juliana as one of the most gentle, kind-hearted people he had met. He would never have dreamt that she had gone through something like this before.
But it also made something clear. Simon could never allow anything like this to happen to her, ever again. He would have to protect Jules - no matter what it took.
Sometimes, the people with the brightest smiles are the ones who have gone through the most oppressive darkness.
“I need to find her. I have to make sure that her past won’t define who she is in the future.” Simon sighs deeply.
“It might already be too late for that, Simon.” Johnny says cautiously.
“Do not tell anyone else about this, Johnny. You got that? We can’t have rumors spreading around right now. Understood?”
“Yes, sir.” Johnny rolls his eyes.
“Good. I appreciate it.” Simon turns to leave, and makes his way across the base, going through different areas in search of Juliana. “God damnit” He swears. “Where in the hell is she?”

Let Me See Inside - Ch. 1
Tumblr media
Series Summary: Can Rae help Ben find what he's looking for?
Chapter Summary: Ben is trying to keep a low profile, and ducks into a little bar, but finds something else entirely inside.
Warnings/Explicit 18+: Some objectification of a woman, some show level violence. Cursing. Some angst.
Pairings: Soldier Boy (Ben) x Rae Stewart (OFC)
Word Count: 2K+
A/N: So, I won't say much about this series yet because I don't want to give away spoilers. But suffice it to say, I was unhappy with SB's ending on the show, so I needed to continue the story and change the ending. Hope you guys enjoy!!
A/N 2: This chapter will also fulfill one of my prompts for the 30 Day Writing Challenge. The prompt used here will be: Use the words, small town, bar, and jukebox.
Both the beautiful text dividers here and below were created by @firefly-graphics

Ben walked quickly down Wadsworth Avenue towards 189th Street. He kept his stolen baseball cap pulled low, eyes on the ground. The last thing he needed was to be recognized.
He needed to get somewhere safe and rest for a bit. After everything at the compound he was a little tired. He'd been walking for more than eight hours, from the compound where he was being kept in a small town in New Jersey, all the way into New York City. He just needed half an hour to recharge.
He spotted a little hole in the wall bar and smiled darkly. Recharge and rehydrate with something that might burn away the noise in his head. He needed a little numbness too.
He pushed through the door, glad to see there were fewer than a dozen people inside. He pulled his hat off automatically out of an old, ingrained habit. Gentlemen removed their hats when they entered an establishment.
He thought of putting it back on but then ran his hand through his hair and shrugged. He seriously doubted anyone in this dark, lonely bar was going to recognize him, especially not in jeans and a t-shirt.
A sad country song was playing on the jukebox in the corner and Ben grimaced. God, he hated that whiny, hillbilly shit. Give him some Nina Simone singing something soft and sultry over that crap any day of the week.
He walked up to the bar and sat down as the bartender approached with a wide smile.
"Hi there."
Shit, she was pretty. Bright blue eyes, strawberry blonde hair and tits like ripe melons. The rest of her body was perfect too, curvy and squeezable.
Fuck, he really didn't have time for distractions.
He smiled at her as he sat down and she came a little closer.
"Kinda looks like you've had a rough day." She sympathized. He liked her voice, it was low and husky.
Ben barked a laugh without humor. "You have no idea, sweetheart."
He shook his head. "Rough day, rough week, year, rough forty fucking years...goddamn rough century."
He ran his hand over his face and then caught her look of confusion mixed with polite concern. He pushed a hand through his hair again and chastised himself.
Stop talking, asshole! You wanna get caught?
He waved a hand towards her. "Don't worry about it, honey. Just give me something dark and hard."
She turned her back to him to pour the drink, and he took the opportunity to check out her ass. Fuck it was perfect, bite-able.
Eyes on the prize, fucker. He reminded himself.
She turned back and handed him his drink, and then rested her elbows on the bar, framing her tits and putting them on display in her little scooped-neck t-shirt. He knew she was aware of what she was doing, there was a glint of something calculating in her eyes.
"Wanna talk about what went wrong?" She asked. "That's what I'm here for."
That's not what you're here for, baby. He wanted to tell her. You're here to be fucked stupid; that body was made to be ridden hard by someone who knows how. Those tits and that ass are here for my enjoyment.
But he didn't say any of that. He really didn't have time to follow through with the flirtation. But, Jesus Christ, was he tempted.
As he fought down his libido, the bartender pulled back slightly and frowned. "Hey you look familiar."
Ben felt a lurch in his gut and he clenched his jaw.
Her eyes widened slightly and he knew she'd figured it out.
"Oh my god!" She said excitedly. "You're Soldier Boy."
Fuck.
He really didn't want to have to kill this pretty little thing. So before she could draw too much attention, he grabbed hold of her wrist and shook his head. His eyes held a dark, dire warning.
"No, I'm not, sweetheart. And if you know what's good for you, you'll realize you're mistaken."
She nodded quickly, eyes as wide as saucers, shock filling them. He kept his steely gaze on her a moment more before he let go of her wrist and took a sip of the whiskey she'd poured for him.
She moved away and began wiping down the counter. He sensed her taking sneak peaks at him as she cleaned the already spotless bar.
Eventually she slid back down the bar to stand in front of him. "I promise I'll never tell anyone. But...I heard you died. What happened."
Ben stared up at her, surprised, a little pleasantly, by her boldness. But he shook his head. "It's a very long story, sweetheart."
"It's Rae." She said with a smile. "As opposed to sweetheart and honey."
He stared up at her again, and an itchy kind of prickle flashed over his skin. His instincts were standing at attention and he frowned at her. Something was snagging in his brain, telling him something was off.
He looked down at the whiskey in his hand. "What ah...what brand is this?"
Rae looked confused for a second. "Oh, um..." She looked around her, and turned the label on the bottle towards her. "It's Cragganmore."
Ben stared hard at the beautiful face in front of him and felt disappointment creeping in. But he let out a small chuckle.
"Huh...you got the flavor wrong. Cragganmore is a Scotch whisky, and Scotch whisky has a smokier flavor. What you've got here is sweeter, more like a bourbon."
He watched a flicker of something like fear come and go from her expression and he cursed his shitty luck. He was gonna halve to kill her after all.
He leapt across the bar and slammed her into the back counter, smashing bottles and cracking her head against the mirror.
He wrapped his hand around her throat and she immediately started clawing the back of his hand, desperate for air.
He did not let up on the pressure. "Get out of my head, bitch."
She was shaking her head, mouthing something and he finally let go of her throat enough that she could suck in a bit of air and speak in a gargled raspy voice.
"I don't know what you're talking about."
He smashed her head against the mirror again and watched her eyes roll back as she was once again deprived of oxygen.
"Bullshit! I've seen Mindstorm at work, I know what it feels like to be trapped in your own head. And if this isn't some fucked up scene you're projecting into my brain, why has the same shitty country song been playing on the jukebox this whole fucking time?"
He looked over his shoulder briefly and laughed again, squeezing tighter. "And I gotta say these bar patrons are pretty fucking calm about the fact that I'm about to choke the bartender to death "
He shook her by the neck like a ragdoll. "Now, who the fuck are you and why are you doing this? Who do you work for?"
He let up a bit again and she began coughing harshly through her abused vocal cords.
"Ben." She said, throat raw sounding. "Ben, please calm down. I'm here to help you. I promise. But I need you to calm down and...
Her eyes went wide at something behind him, but when he looked, there was nothing there.
"No!" She yelled out hoarsely. She waved her arm towards something he couldn't see. "Don't. I'm fine. DON'T!"
Suddenly he could feel a mask being placed over his mouth, and taste the poison on his tongue. But there was still nothing physical to fight. He struggled wildly, blindly, desperate not to be returned to that place of endless nightmares.
But it was inevitable, he'd never been able to free himself once the toxin started doing its work.
His last view just before his eyes closed was of the pretty little bartender's face, and she was incredibly angry.
She looked sexy when she was mad.
***
Rae ripped the delicate sensory monitor from off her head and threw it aside, not giving a shit that she might damage the tech that cost the American government millions of dollars.
She watched the guards in their Hazmat suits lifting Ben off the ground to safely store him away in the cryo-chamber until their next try.
She stormed out of the small, hermetically sealed room she conducted the sessions from, and headed down the sterile white hallways until she reached the office she was looking for.
She slammed into the room without knocking.
"Goddamn it Mallory, you said you wanted me to use my powers to build bridges in Soldier Boy's mind, to lay groundwork that will let us try to undo whatever shit the Russians did to him, right?"
Lieutenant-Colonel Grace Mallory sat behind her desk, fingers steepled against her chin, and said nothing.
Rae clapped her hands as though she was trying to wake her. "Hello? That's right, isn't it? I mean that was the objective? I didn't misunderstand the assignment did I?"
Mallory shook her head. "No, you didn't."
"Okay, well I can't build any fucking bridges if your bloody goons come tearing in to gas him every ten fucking minutes." Rae fumed, fists balled up at her sides
Mallory's voice was calm and it annoyed Rae. "My men said that he was headed towards going nuclear. They said the Geiger counter was climbing fast."
Rae rolled her eyes. "If they'd just stayed away, I could have talked him back down."
She sighed deeply and flopped down into the chair in front of Mallory's desk. "You know it gets harder every time we have to start over again, because his subconscious remembers. And for someone like Be-"
Rae cleared her throat. "For someone like Soldier Boy, whose instincts are razor sharp...well, he's caught on so fast the last few times. This time he barely even sat down before he started to get suspicious."
Rae ran both her hands over her face. "By the way, remind me to buy a bottle of Cragganmore so I can memorize the taste and send the right flavor into his brain next time."
Mallory got up and walked over to the small wooden cabinet in the corner of her office and pulled out a bottle of the scottish whiskey.
"I can save you the expense."
She poured them each two fingers and brought them back to her desk. She slid the tumbler towards Rae and raised her glass.
"Slàinte Mhath!" She said in Gaelic before sipping it slowly.
Rae took a sip of hers and it burned a path down her throat, causing her to grimace.
She was quiet a moment before she continued, her voice soft. "You know all he sees are nightmares when he's in that fucking tube. He's not resting peacefully, he's in one long, endless nightmare. It's all death and blood. And people screaming so loud I can hardly stand to be inside his head."
Mallory's expression was troubled for a moment before she downed the rest of her whiskey. "Look, Stewart, I didn't recruit you for this job so we could coddle Soldier Boy's fragile psyche back into a sense of harmony."
She leaned back in her chair and steepled her fingers again. "Homelander has got Ryan and he's going to hurt him one way or another. As long as he's with that maniac, Ryan is not safe. And I swore to myself that I wouldn't let anymo-".
Mallory dropped her hands, rubbing her palms against her thighs. Her voice was dipped low, but vehement as she continued.
"I swore I wouldn't let any more children die."
Rae could practically see the unbending determination slide back into Mallory's backbone.
"And Soldier Boy is still the only one capable of taking out Homelander. So we need him. But we need him whole, we need him on our side, and we don't need him going nuclear any time he gets stressed."
Mallory leveled her gaze at Rae. "Which is why I need you to keep trying. Try to get through to him, try to de-program whatever the Russians did to him, and let's get our weapon up and running"

Ben walked quickly down Wadsworth Avenue towards 189th Street...
...he needed to get somewhere safe and rest for a bit.
He spotted a little hole in the wall bar and smiled darkly. Recharge and rehydrate with something that might burn away the noise in his head. He needed a little numbness too.
As he entered, he smiled at the sound of Nina Simone's sultry voice crooning out of the jukebox in the corner. One of his favorites.
He walked up to the bar and sat down as the bartender approached with a wide smile.
"Hi there."

Memories from another time // I’ve posted this before on instagram funnily enough, but I guess this is the first time I have shown Tumblr lore of my other OCs. Specifically, the Entity OCs I’ve created, I know this is confusing, even if you checked through my instagram you won’t find much between all of them but I will make an introduction post soon between all of them. Usually I introduce my Madness combat OCs first but y’know what? Change of pace for a change, besides these guys needed more attention from me, now I’ve made this comic back in December, I actually posted this same comic late in instagram but eh, I’ll copy paste the lore I’ve posted on instagram over here, and before I do that, I’ll introduce you to three characters, the girl who has an emo looking error sign eye thing who looks disturbed is Glitch Error! Now if you will ask if this character was inspired by a certain glitched skeleton. I’ve made her when I was in the undertale, creepypasta and SCP phase, I say don’t ask anymore because I am gonna answer yes in this once, it’s gonna be funny once I talk about her more so let’s move on to another character, the one who’s been trying to call and get Glitch Error’s attention is Cry, Cry baby, a boss agency, not in just any agency, but lets just say that agency is about keeping the universe in check, Cry baby is not her actual name, it’s a nickname. Now finally the girl in pink, technically a ghost, her name is [… …. _.__] Celeste! Fun fact, she’s actually the first OC I created, just so happened that I let her survive. Now onto the instagram caption kinda!!!:
“to sum up the mini comic l've made:
Crybaby or Cry for short is a he boss of an agency, not just any agency, an agency that runs about keeping the universe stable, I believe l've told her part before in a day challenge that I haven't completed yet so please go check out the old posts about it, Cry noticed a tear on the void, a place where mostly entities live, so she called out a "friend" who lives there to figure out what's going on, that friend was Glitch Error, now Glitch Error is an entity, moreover can be called the Goddess of Chaos as she can bend reality whenever she wants, but her powers have a limit, I'll explain more in detail in a future post about her but as of now Glitch Error went ahead and decided to check out what tore the fabric of the void, as she went to the spot she noticed a pink woman-like figure rise up, but, she looks familiar... it's almost like— #%]]^]%]*^]%{#]^]% +[% {*1{^ well that's it! I'll be sure to update soon.”
And update will come!
…soon.
Until then fellas!

Oh God, we're finally releasing this into the wild! 😱
@practicallyasleep and I have been working on writing a version of what could come next for L&Co in the show continuity.
We're not writing everything; just the bits with significant changes (or changes we just wanted even if they're not significant).
We're having way too much fun writing this and we hope you'll enjoy it!

Saw the Mw3 spoilers, like, a few hours after it came out. Have been sad since, yes, but at the same time...
My Monster hunter fixation has come back in full swing.
An also, I found out they made a Monster Hunter movie, were apparently some military personnel were transported to the MH universe or something, so my brain has just been like:
Do it. Make a fic.
So yeah. I think this may be my first fanfiction that I'll ever post. Just need to figure out how I'm doing this.

Sneak peak #2
alright the people have spoken! With an overwhelming 90%, y’all wanted to see Tendrils chapter two. I’m halfway through writing it and it’s gonna contain some serious action! So below is a sneak peek. Thank for being so patient with me <3
(p.s. sry for any spelling or grammar mistakes. I am dyslexic. I’ll make sure to check it over for the actual fic when i add it to Ao3)
Chapter 2: Kraang Train
TW for this chapter: canon typical violence, Descriptions of tentacles, again avoid if you’re squeamish
[Take care y’all, if u know said thing may trigger you please don’t hesitate to skip this one. Things will settle down around chapter 4]
“Raph? You okay?” He hears April's voice call, soft but still audible. It came from a distance, somewhere to the right and up. Raph rubbed his head a bit. He dusted off his knees as he stood up. Nothing seemed broken besides the dull soreness of falling down who knows how many steps. He sure didn’t know, he couldn’t see.
“Yeah, I’m ok,” Raph not-whispered back. The snapper shoved his hands in front of him, hoping to find the wall or something before he could trip again. He shuffled forward a bit, taking a lot more caution with each step.
Squech! Raph stepped directly into a puddle of something goopy and cold. “Oh gross! I think I stepped in someone’s drink!”
    “Eeewwww,” He heard April reply
“Raph! Quiet!” Ok that was definitely Donnie.
“It’d be easier to be quiet if I could see where I’m going,” He replied, only half listening as he hopped around on one foot trying to shake the wet feeling off. Suddenly a burst of light illuminated where he was standing, temporarily blinding him. He rapidly stuck out his arms, trying and failing to stay upright.
“Donnie, don’t shine that in my eyes!” Raph heard his surrogate sister complain, no longer bothering to use a quiet voice.
“Well I didn’t know you were right there,” Donnie huffed. Raph had to take a moment for the sunspots in his vision to clear. He spotted Donnie standing just one step off the bottom. Two repurposed stadium lights peaked from his battle shell, casting everything around them in harsh bluelight. April was standing just a little in front of him, glasses now hanging from the neck of her shirt as she rubbed her eyes. She blinked a couple times, probably trying to adjust to the sudden blinding display.
“Where the heck did you even get stadium lights?! Those things are bright!” April said, glancing over expectantly at Donnie before having to shield her eyes again.
“Oh! Well you see it’s actually a pretty interesting story. I was out on patrol you see. I had decided to go off my usual route. . .'' Donnie continued on about his story, but by this point Raph had tunned him out. He was stuck stock still by the sight illuminated before him.
The once subway station was unrecognizable! Dirt and debris were scattered around the floor. Concrete posts were hit out of position, revealing the metal rodding inside. To one side, the subway tunnel had caved in on itself, chunks of rocks and tiles blocked the entirety of the entrance. The tunnel to the other side looked ominous, metal and wires sticking down from it like teeth and the entrance gaping like a mouth ready to swallow them whole. It kinda freaked Raph out a bit.
“What happened to this place,” Raph said, mostly to himself.
“The Kraang.” April said, Waaaay closer than he thought she was. For the third time tonight he nearly jumped out of his skin. Oh Raph did not like this, at all.
Raph swallowed hard, glancing down at April. She was staring straight ahead, expression unreadable. But from what Raph could guess, she probably wasn’t thinking about anything good. This was about the Kraang after all.
(Sorry this was shorter than my last sneak peek. I just didn’t want to spoil too much for the full chapter. Hope you enjoyed!)

i pray with the devil you rest in peace (divinity, part 2)
As a result of the success of the mission, everyone had been given a few days leave to rest and recuperate. Simon and Artemis had decided to spend their leave together, using the quiet days to spend some time together, in a calm, relaxed environment.
After a chill night watching movies and playing video games, Simon and Artemis had fallen asleep cuddling on his bed, enjoying a restful evening together.
Simon was fast asleep on the bed, a soft smile on his face as his chest rose and fell with his breathing. Both of them were dressed for comfort, Simon in a black t-shirt and sweatpants, Artemis in pajama pants and one of Simon’s hoodies.
Simon rolled over in his sleep, pulling Artemis closer to him. His arm was draped around her back, tucking his face into her neck. He sighs, nuzzling into her.
Artemis was having a dream…no, a nightmare. She feels like she can’t breathe. The memory of the enemy soldier’s knife pressed against her throat causes her to whimper in her sleep.
Her whimpering rouses Simon from the confines of sleep, and he pulls back slightly to look at her. He starts gently running his fingers through her hair, leaning up to kiss her forehead, trying to provide any semblance of comfort during the nightmare she’s experiencing.
“Shh…everything’s okay now… I promise you’re safe, I’ll always protect you. Just like I did then.” He whispers softly.
“No…please…let me go…” She mumbles quietly, a frown marring her features.
“Hey, hey, It’s okay.” He gently pulled her closer to him, putting a hand on her shoulder and leaning her against him. His voice was warm and soft, soft and comforting.
“You’re safe. You’re safe, okay? He’s gone. He’s gone and he’s not coming back.” Simon tried to keep his voice steady as he comforted Artemis, trying to keep any notes of panic out. He kept his arms tightly around her, trying to help her. “You’re okay, I’m right here.”
Her hand reached up to scratch at the wound across her throat. “Simon… Simon… please… help.” She whimpers, scratching at her neck.
He grabbed her hand with one one of his one, pulling it away, placing it against his chest. “Don’t touch it, sweetheart. You’ll undo the bandages, Temi.”
His voice remained gentle, but he was starting to worry. “Artemis, you’re going to be alright. I’m here. You’re okay.”
She starts hyperventilating, the nightmare getting worse. “Please… help me… please.” She whimpers, tears beginning to escape from her closed eyes.
“It’s okay, it’s okay…” Simon soothed her, trying to quell his own panic. “I’m here, I’m here, it’s okay.” He held her tightly as he tried to soothe her back to a steady breathing rate. “You’re going to be okay, I promise. I’ll keep you safe.”
Simon continues to try to comfort her as she cries, when a thought hits him like a bolt of lightning.
He took a deep breath before speaking. “Artemis, sweetheart, wake up.” He shook her shoulder gently. “Come on, it’s okay, wake up, love.”
Between Simon calling her name and the gentle rocking of her body, Artemis woke up in a gasp, her eyes filling with tears.
“Hey… it’s okay. You’re okay.” He soothed as he looked at her, eyes wide and tearful, his own eyes filled with worry. “I’m here, Temi, I’m here. You’re safe.” He pulled her close, resting her head on his chest. “It’s okay, you’re safe.”
She buries her head in Simon’s chest as she lets out a few quiet sobs. “He had me… he was gonna…”
“I know.” Simon whispers, holding onto her tightly, wanting nothing more than to comfort her. “But you’re safe now. I won’t let anyone hurt you. He can’t hurt you again.”
He repeated softly, holding her tight as she cried. “It’s okay, you’re safe, I’m here.”
“You’re here.” She repeated in a whisper. “You’re here.”
“I’m here.” He repeated back to her, his voice gentle. He didn’t ever want to see her get hurt again, and all he wanted right now was to give her all the comfort in the world.
“I’m not going anywhere, I promise. He won’t hurt you ever again, Artemis. Never again…”
As her sobs started to subside, the tension in her body started to release.
Simon let out a soft sigh as he felt her body start to relax. She was safe, and she was out of that terrifying nightmare. He kept his arms securely around her, and leaned his head up to press a kiss into her hair. “Do you know what I'm most worried about?” He asks softly, pressing another gentle kiss to her head.
“What?” She whispers.
“You.” He replies quietly. Simon stroked a gentle hand down her back, trying to let her know that he was there, that she was safe, and that he would keep her safe. She couldn’t see it, but his expression was filled with worry and concern for her. Simon just wants to keep his Artemis safe.
“I’m not going to let anything happen to you. I don’t want anything to happen to you.” He whispers.
“I’m okay.” She whispers back. “It was just a nightmare.”
“I know.” He brushes his hand up and down her back again before pressing another kiss to her hair. “You’re safe now. You’re going to be okay.”
“I’m safe.” She repeats. “I’m okay.”
Simon pulled away from the hug for a moment to look into her eyes, trying to get a gauge on how she was feeling. He smiled gently, squeezing her in reassurance. “You’re okay.” He whispered, pressing her body into his again, softly stroking her hair and her back.
He never wanted something like that to happen to her again. He silently vowed to always be a safe place for her, to always protect her. “You’re okay, you’re safe, I’m here.”
“I’m okay, I’m safe, you’re here.” She mumbled sleepily.
Simon sighed in relief when he heard Artemis repeat her answer again, happy to hear that she had calmed down again. “I’m here Artemis, I’ll always be here.”
He held her close, running his hand up and down her back, over and over. He softly kissed the top of her head again, before whispering, “I love you.”
“...love you…” She mumbled back, already half asleep.
Simon smiled gently, leaning in to press a kiss to her forehead. “I love you, Artemis.”
He was content to fall asleep again with her wrapped in his arms, wanting nothing more than for that moment to last forever. All he wanted was an eternal moment of peace with the two of them together, after everything they’ve been through.
