"Eh? Oh!" Zed dropped the liver onto his desk with a wet splat, wheeling his chair over to the stretcher, "Well son you just sit yourself up on the stretcher while’s I just uh, change these gloves." 

If only he had a sterile pair. Oh well. The doctor took a relatively clean set from his drawer, picking a dry bit of who knows what off the fingers before turning back to the man.

"Lemme get that for ya’," With an easy shove his last patient thudded to the ground. Zed beamed, patting the gore smattered sheets. "Hop on up an’ let’s have us a look."

6.  A Confession.  “‘Ey doc?”  His head down, he slipped in through the open door, scanning the unsanitary operating theater;  the sticky floor, the cloud of black flies buzzing around the corpse on the cot in the corner.  It was only Zed in the stagnant room, Zed and a fresh liver, and a microscope.   Suddenly, he regretted not going to see Doc Mercy.  At least Mercy actually had a medical licence.  "I…uhh… ‘s wonderin’ if ya’ can take a look at ‘is rash I got…"

((36: What makes them feel guilty? He usually plays it off but the overall failure of most of his procedures really hits hard. That, and whenever he fails to help his friends/people he's close to in sanctuary. 

38: What recharges them when they’re feeling drained? Making new abominations or some nifty shield. People telling him he's a good doctor/pats on the back. 

45: Do they express their thoughts through words or deeds? Deeds, usually. He's not the best with words.

"I tell ya...some folks are real squeamish bout blood. An' that just...it boggles my marbles, really. I mean, hell, it's jus' a itsy squirt, no need to go hollerin' to high heaven.

An' this fella...this fella just couldn't sit himself still, thrashin' about an' such, and then, then he just up and bops me and I can't keep a firm grip on that axe with one hand an'...

Well flip me on my side an' call me skag bait, if you're not gonna listen to the man rippin' through your guts than..than I don't know what to say, really.

Whelp, moral of the story; when Zed tells ya somethin' you better...ya better make like you damn well heard it...ain't my durn fault you kids couldn't listen without a gun to yer head...an' then ya up and screech jus' causa' little blood spurtin out yer arteries! The hell'd you expect to be comin' out the damn things?! Candy?
