all the headcanons for both Storm and Bark
SKREMS OK
☾ - sleep headcanon
Storm: Sleeps curled up. Unless he was exhausted, then he falls asleep all sprawled out.  There is no inbetween. When he’s sleeping sprawled out you can assume wherever hes sleeping wasnt his first choice for a bed, and 90% of the time youd be right. It’d be p easy to spot him having a nightmare, since he has physical reactions to them. They happen often.
Bark: Sleeps on his back, most of the time. Though will sometimes sleep on his side if he’s snuggling up to someone. He doesnt rly show signs of nightmares, unless theyre really intense. And even then, it’s little twitches and such that youd have to know him really well to see as out of the ordinary.
In winter he likes snuggling up in blankets, not because he’s cold, but because it’s p much the only time of the year where it feels comfortable.
★ - sad headcanon
Storm: His own robotic arm makes him nervous, on some occasions. He finds it cool and all, but will sometimes get nervous about showing it to people out of fear that they’ll assume that hes working or has worked with Eggman, and cut ties with him before he can explain. It has more to do with abandonment issues than with his arm.
Bark: He was a happy and very friendly child, despite circumstances. Over the years he grew bitter. And has since grown out of that into someone more calm, but still not friendly.
☆ - happy headcanon
Storm: He tends to wag his tail when extremely happy. It’s something he’s picked up from other people.
Bark: Likes having a tum 81
☠ - angry/violent headcanon
Storm: He has some p obvious buttons that can be pushed, and can quickly cross the line from annoyed to angry. He does get violent once he’s angry, be it verbally, or physically, or both.
Bark: Being calm as heck doesnt mean he cant get angry. It can take a bit. If the line gets drawn at just angry, he’ll give an intense glare and possibly growl. If the line gets pushed into enraged, rare as it is, he will hurt someone.
✿ - Not answering this one for obvious reasons.
■ -  Bedroom/house/living quarters headcanon
Storm: His bedroom is messy, if it can even be called a bedroom. He hardly ever sleeps there, preferring to sleep on the couch, or around friends. His bedroom is p much used as some sort of storage space.
The house is tidy, most of the time. Mostly because Exe lives there too. Not to say that Storm doesnt help out with cleaning it, he mostly does it because its a shared living space.
Bark: Tidy bedroom. Everything has it’s place. On occasion, the bed will be messy if he’s felt too lazy to tidy it, or has slept through most of the day. Same goes for the house. He finds cleaning fun.
♡ - romantic headcanon
Storm: Hes aromantic.
Bark: He’s a romantic. EEEYYY. He finds romance movies and books cute, provided they’re well done and not too cheesy. If he falls for someone, he will fall hard. Will be very nervous about it considering his line of work, but if he gets to dating, he’s p romantic. And 98% of it is unintentional.
♥ - family headcanon
Storm: With biological family, he was closest to his dad, and it remains that way. He was p close with his sister, but had a falling out. Things were bad with his mom after his dad passed away. And while he loves his grandfather, he isnt all that close to him. He still hangs out with his nephews, but its nowhere near as tight of a bond as the one he had with his dad.
Bark: His mom and dad moved south, so he could be raised away from the expectations and stereotypes of the north. Granted they came to find the south had its fair share of those, but ultimately found it much nicer than back home. Being away from his grandparents was a bonus too.
He also has an uncle thats still in contact, and an aunt and cousins because i have no control of my life.
☮ - friendship headcanon
Storm: His friendship can be hard to gain. Be it because first impressions often dont go well for him, or because he does actually really want to be friends and finds you cool and gets himself too nervous to do anything about it due to assumptions about what’ll happen if he tries being friends based on bad experiences from the past.
But once he gets there he’s a v loyal and affectionate friend. He isn’t sure how to express his love and care in words, so he opts for actions.
Bark: Avoids having friends, purely because of his job. Though to the very few that have managed to somehow become his friend, he’s loyal. And VERY protective. Mercenary or not, no amount of money will get him to go after his friends.
♦ - quirks/hobbies headcanon
Storm: Likes tinkering with things. Be it his truck, or his robotic arm and it’s various models, or something else entirely.
Bark: Loves reading. Especially on rainy days. His perfect day is not having a job to do while it’s raining, and getting to stay at home, reading by the window.
☯ - likes/dislikes headcanon
Storm:
Likes: Waffles. Good lord does he love waffles. And music. And snow, even though its cold.
Dislikes: Being underestimated. People refusing to listen to him. People that aren’t friends touching him.
Bark:
Likes: Nature. Swimming. Food.
Dislikes: His job. Really loud thunder. People that threaten him doing so by pointing something sharp at his neck.
▼ - childhood headcanon
Storm: He was a happy and dancey child. He’s still p dancey. Him and dancing are 100% his dad’s and brother’s fault.
Bark: MENTIONED BEFORE BUT. Happy and friendly child, despite circumstances. Though he was nervous about his strength. Liked looking at the stars because it gave him a sense of belonging.
∇ -. old age/aging headcanon
Storm: DUE TO COMPLICATED PLOT THINGS he cant age. He’s like 30-something now, but still looks 20. If anything, he’d just age emotionally, probably. And will improve further on his fighting.
Bark: Surprisingly gets to an old age, if theres no tiny boyfriend around for him to try to start life over >3> Over the years he either saves up enough finally or manages to land a job that sets him up for the rest of his life, so he can retire and finally live a peaceful life off in his cabin in the mountains. Though still keeps an eye out for anyone snooping around. Retiring doesnt mean ur wanted posters retire too.
♒ - cooking/food headcanon
Storm: God no plz dont let him do it, hE’LL KILL US ALL
Ok but Zee IS trying to teach him to cook. Its a v slow process.
Bark: God, he loves cooking. He started out because he wanted to be able to make his own food, and sometimes the ingredients you need for a meal are cheaper than buying a finished meal. He loves doing it. Even in summer, when it doesnt feel good to be around a hot stove. Since Bean got into his life, he’s also discovered he loves sharing food he made with others.
☼ - appearance headcanon
Storm: A messy boy. Messy quills, and messy fur. Not dirty, he likes keeping himself clean, but doesn’t rly bother to brush all that fluff save for the little time it takes to brush it do it doesnt get tangled up.
Bark: I’d say u can just go see a pic of him since hes an official character but 81 There be sinners out there so.
He is fat. Big tum. Chubby cheeks. The opposite of an upside down triangle. R o u n d.
He has long, soft hair, and soft fur. But he doesnt appear to be fat because of the fluff. He just is, like, god. I cannot tell u enough how much of a stronk fat boy he is 81 And how much of a canon thing it is.
-SPRINKLES SALT EVERYWHERE-
ANYWAY on to the part thats a headcanon and not canon, he loves keeping his hair n fur clean and brushed. Hates it when jobs get him dirty with all the fighting and such. Immediately goes to shower or bathe the first chance he gets.
ൠ - random headcanon
Storm: He incorporates dancing into his fighting.
Bark: He purrs when he’s comfortable and happy, because bears do purr its gr8 8I

The Top Ten Bad Horror Movies That I Love
Not ranked in terms of love, just listed.
10. Stay Alive: The Director’s Cut (2006)
This movie is not good. Not good at all. It’s a cheesy as shit, supernatural horror movie that was pushed heavily by Game Informer, simply due to its plot. The film tells the story of a video game (that is basically a Resident Evil/Doom clone on PS2) that kills you in real life if you die in-game. Few things are redeemable in this film. The biggest names in it are a post-puberty, mid-Malcolm Frankie Muniz and one of the McPoyle Brothers. The rest of the crew is just sort of there. It’s worth seeing once for sure, simply for the novelty of it. I think I love it because I watched it so much when it came out. I searched through so many Exchanges, Blockbusters, and Wal-Marts trying to find it. When I finally did, I wore the DVD out.
9. Thir13en Ghosts (2003)
This big budget horror movie, inspired by William Castle, was the first from Dark Castle Pictures. It had a decent team of producers, including super-producer Joel Silver.
It tells the story of a family who moves into a futuristic house after inheriting it from a sketchy uncle. Everything seems cool at first, but, SURPRISE! There’s a gaggle of ghosts in the basement. What follows is a ridiculous haunted house movie with some decent effects and a decent cast (Tony Shaloub, Matthew Lillard, F. Murray Abraham, etc), but also insanely stupid writing. My dad and I watched this movie once together. My sister and I watched it about 20 times in 3 months. They had a special feature on the DVD that was individual stories about each ghost, and we had each one memorized. If you’re looking for a fun time with a bad film, you really can’t go wrong with this one.
8. Bride of Chucky (1998)
This movie is, without a doubt, the beginning of the end for Chucky. Admittedly, all of the Chucky movies are stupid. Yet, this one has something about it. At least, they were smart enough to go with horror-comedy with this one. I was 5 years old when this came out and I fucking loved it.
Chucky is back, baby, and ready to walk down the aisle. Along the way, two teenagers in the same situation get taken hostage by the two dolls, and what follows is a stupid, plot-hole filled, campy mess. But, goddamn, it’s entertaining.
Going back a few years later, it’s clear that I was an idiot as a kid. The whole movie is stupid, but hey, at least it’s funny. That is the one thing it has going for it (well, that and seeing Jennifer Tilly in leather outfits). It gets bonus points for the first Chucky kill, in which Chucky takes out a guy who is, in no way whatsoever, a Marilyn Manson ripoff.
7. Snoop Dogg’s Hood of Horror (2006)
Hey, kids? You like Snoop Dogg? You like Tales From The Crypt? Well, you’ll dig Hood of Horror. This anthology film tells three stories in the Hood of Horror, each one hosted by Da Cribkeeper himself, Snoop D-O-Double G.
Each story has an urban take on common horror movie tropes, which, admittedly, is an interesting concept. It also has a decent cast of “anything for a paycheck” actors like Ernie Hudson, Jason Alexander, and Danny Trejo. However, it is not good. It was released by Xenon Pictures, who I’ve only ever seen one other movie from which was TV: The Movie (from the other Jackass guys that aren’t Johnny Knoxville and Bam Margera), which I absolutely hated. But, something about this one really stuck with me. It’s stupid for sure, but man, it’s a lot of fun.
6. Rob Zombie’s Halloween II: Unrated Director’s Cut (2009)
Once again, I’m going with the Director’s Cut because it is a better film. However, this does not make it good.
As much as I love Rob Zombie’s movies, there’s no denying that the sequel to the 2007 Halloween reimagining is definitely his worst one. He decided to add a lot of symbolism and hidden themes to a slasher film. They are certainly interesting, for sure, and it’s the reason I love it. But, there’s no denying that Rob Zombie cannot write dialogue to save his life. By focusing on the symbolism and less on the brutality that the first one was chock full of, it made the film suffer as a whole and it doesn’t feel like a sequel. If anything, it feels like some kind of weird arthouse version of Michael Myers. However, when the kills finally do happen, they are the standard brutality we have grown to expect from Rob Zombie. Plus, it seems that Rob Zombie shot his symbolism wad with his 2012 film, Lords of Salem. His latest film, 31 (2016), brought us back to brutal sadistic violence that he became known for with his Firefly family movies. Still, it’s worth seeing once.
5. Tusk (2014)
As a Kevin Smith fan, I love this movie. As a movie fan, I can admit that it is terrible.
The film inspired by a phony classified ad was made for a small budget and made less than 2/3 of its budget back at the box office. I saw it at an evening showing, the day it opened, with my wife…..and no one else. Not one single soul was in the theater besides us.
It tells the story of a podcaster who goes up to Canada and gets turned into a walrus by Michael Parks. Need I say more? Add a ridiculous Johnny Depp cameo, and you got a movie. If you don’t listen to any Smodcast network podcasts, you won’t get the movie or any of the inside jokes it contains and you aren’t expected to. You will probably hate the movie, to be honest. But, that’s okay. My wife hated it because she thought it was supposed to be serious. Then, she heard the podcast during the credits and she loved it.
4. Vampire’s Kiss (1987)
Here’s a shocker. There’s a Nic Cage film on this list that isn’t The Wicker Man (2006).
Vampire’s Kiss tells the story of a big shot at a publishing company who has a night with a neck biter and slowly goes insane, believing he is one of the undead. It is an attempt at psychological horror, but it ended up being an unintentional black comedy and it is the performance that should’ve won Cage the oscar.
This movie is campy, overacting gold. Nic Cave doesn’t chew the scenery. He rips it’s heart out, drinks the blood, cooks it up and swallows it whole. The whole movie is just him trying to one up his overacting in the previous scene. It is glorious. The movie is fucking awful, but it is glorious. Buy this movie, now. Don’t hesitate. It’s perfect for a group watch.
3. My Name Is Bruce (2007)
Bruce Campbell is a gift from the heavens. The man saved the world from the Deadite plague, not only in modern times, but in the middle ages. That being said, this movie is beyond B movie status. It was made for 1.5 million, grossed just under 200 grand at the box office, and was doomed from the get go, due to the extremely polarizing fan potential.
Bruce Campbell is recruited by a small town to fight a killer demigod who is threatening their small town utopia. It’s a super meta, super cheesy, fan service comedy horror movie that is by no means a good film.
If you don’t like Bruce Campbell, which makes you a terrorist in my book, you will not like this movie. However, since I view him as the 10th World Wonder, I fucking love this movie. It’s Bruce Campbell. Enough said.
2. Knock Knock (2015)
Keanu Reeves has such a strange film career. This is probably the best example. As much as I love Eli Roth, there’s no denying that this movie is terrible.
A devoted husband and father gets stuck in the fight for his life after he bangs two flight attendants and they decided to kill him. Along the way, we get to see so much overacting that Nic Cage would be so proud.
Keanu Reeves is the reason I love this movie. Specifically, the climax, in which he delivers a monologue in an attempt to defend himself. IT WAS FREE FUCKING PIZZA!
1. Freddy VS Jason (2003)
I fucking love this movie. As a kid, I had the entire NOES collection and had watched all the FT13s multiple times. When this was finally released in my 4th grade year, it was like Christmas. Looking back, yes, it is bad. Really bad. But, man, I love it.
The nu metal soundtrack, the one liners, the clearly-a-Jason Mewes-ripoff stoner character, the stupid fights, the thrown together story. My god, it’s fucking brilliant.

general thoughts and notes on vld s7
yeah im no expert man, i aint no storyteller either. im just writing down the thoughts and fix-it notes me and my friend thought up after watching everything within 5 hours.
some episodes are untouched tho, mostly from ep 6 onwards, but you can see for yourself under keep reading.
okay sO,
EPISODE 1: a little adventure
we can probably agree it was a mess? shiro was on the verge of possibly dying again, and we got this weird and unnecessary side skit with coran, hunk, lance, romelle and pidge looking for,,, whatever it was actually. them having this thumbelina like adventure was so out of place???? i mean, we got a dying man here folks, why was that a thing. the flashbacks from keith were appreciated though. i just really got a lot of whiplash from the conflicting story of side a and b in this ep.
EPISODE 2: the road home
i dont have much of an impression of this ep, which is better than a bad one i guess? the whole passenger bit was a little funny, and we got to see these odd dynamics. when things got more serious the transition didnt give me a headache either, so thats a bonus. (theres a little ‘chekhovs gun’ scene i liked where lance mentions elephants to the alteans and, lo and behold, you see elephants in episode 8 when galran fleets enter earths atmosphere) (im sure there were more things like this that i spotted, but im too tired to look for them)
EPISODE 3: the way forward
coran, coran, my gorgeous man, what the fuck did they do to you? you went from eccentric but seemingly capable to,,,, whatever the fuck you were in this ep. what happened to s1 coran that defended the princess with a fucking ladle and food goo, or the coran from s6 where he was able to temporarily fix the castles issue with a fuckin alien molotov cocktail. whatever happened, it ended up fucking over coran and made him into this, which is a huge shame honestly.
ezor and zethrid serving up unexpected sapphic vibes came from left field though. i love it. keep going, you funky evil lesbians. on the other hand, axca also got to serve something content-wise, and pointing out the fact she seemed to unconsciously orbit keith after he saved her was something i wanted pinned out and solved but not like this, honestly. i mean, the whole ‘true love’ joke was a step to far, really. either way, at least she explained her motives. but where did she go afterwards? (another note: its kinda weird that, with the time skip, in a sense keith was the least affected, since hes 20 and all that. its not a bad thing though, personally.)
EPISODE 4: the feud!
yeah, uhhhhhhh, fuck this episode????
almost absolutely nothing spared me from hating this episode besides keiths drawing efforts, and maybe the final round confessions, but good GOD thats all it had for itself. the only joy i felt in this episode besides that too was seeing pidge pull a front and murk bob from his bootleg scooby-doo doughnut floatie.
fuck bob in particular
i mean, i know it was a filler episode, but dammit it couldve been something else entirely if it ended with pidges scene. you can call me biased with this idea since i avoid shows like family feud for the sake of saving myself from second-hand embarrassment, or maybe from the fact that i used to relate to an aspect of lance (that personally think got too blown up), but maybe if they got out sooner (possibly as a result of katie decking shitstain floaty-pants off his high ground) theyd follow the linear part of waking up in their lions and finding out, with courtesy from coran, that instead of some omnipotent asshole judge of ancient heroes, it was some deep-space intergalactic sentient-miasma or something that does weird mind games with heroic prey, and chose the paladins specifically for one reason or another. better than making him seem like an ally when all i wanna do when i see is face is shank him.
and with the time thats left in the ep after, our non-paladin passengers are updated by the team of this weird ass incident , before keith notices lance seems less responsive. (i was personally thinking shiro at first but then i realized hes in pidges lion, and it might not work for this next sequence) after opening a private connection to the red lion and asking whats the sitch, lance reluctantly admits to being a bit more hurt with that whole ”idiot” shtick in the feud sequence than he let on. recalling the moment from s3 with lance willing to step down for the sake of the team, keith, (albeit awkwardly, remember his and hunks talk this season) assures lance of his place and value in the team as a paladin and friend, which gets further bolstered by hunk, pidge and allura dragging both of them back into the conversation, maybe with light teasing and an (seemingly unnecessary) apology from allura for her ’rudeness’ from earlier. seems like a sweeter deal right? idk.
i just really hate bob dont mind me.
EPISODE 5: the ruins
[ill be breaking my streak of complaints for this small section of compliments so here it is.]
oh man, i actually enjoyed the beginning part of this ep, for once. i forget how big the lions actually are, so this was a pleasant reminder. the training sequence krolia made had, in a way, also eased me into the more battle driven part of the episode too so, while most likely unintentional, i liked it. hunk and kosmo interacting was really cool too and im so glad that was a thing, holy shit. and finding out kosmo wasnt even kosmo until now, and that keith didnt name him until the others did it for him seemed, pretty in character, actually.
now, the whole planet sequence wasnt as bad either i guess. kosmo couldve zapped away with more than one person (as shown before) , so why only keith? why not krolia too, if i recall, since she seemed to be next to him too, but i can be sure. side-boss diversion trope was a thing here with that druid ngl. allura’s deus-ex-machina powers dont get explained, just like a lot of other things she does, which im sad over, and think its too convenient sometimes. actually, now that i think of it, maybe im forgetting crucial info about her powers that have been stated before, cant be sure. (but hey it saved shiro and the other many times though, so i try not to be fed up with it much.)
yes, i did in fact cry over krolia and keith separating, with the hefty L word, even, thank you for asking.
and thats about it. the rest of the episodes speak for themselves, though i do have to pick on the whole adam situation before ending this since, honestly im rather upset at that. a lot of people are. hell, i guess almost a good chunk of the fandom just done and dropped the series after that. i mean. it was so.... empty?we didnt learn jack shit about him, or his relationship to shiro. he just up and went.
 so. how about another restructure?
so base defenses are getting culled, not looking great. we know adam was the last one to die, so maybe in an attempt to save his own skin, he retreats. (maybe he does it in remembering the fact that shiro is alive and somewhere out there, that makes him change his mind. in the end he wants to see him again.) whether he gets back to the base, but gets seized for defying admirals orders, or whether he hides out and somehow survives long enough to be part of the small resistance, i have yet to think through. but either way, he doesnt get chewed out as badly thanks to commander holt, whos aware of his relationship to our (re)tired space dad. this is where sam and adam talk about the situation, then shiro. (this would be an opportune time to do flashbacks of them, from adams view.)
then shiro comes back with the others, and things play out the same with the exception that they both are alive and talking, instead of shiro facing a slap of wall dedicated to those who've passed. this is where the end results in them either breaking up amicably or reconciling their relationship, and they part either permanently or not, since shiro joins the debriefing and adam would do other things depending on him either being part of the resistance or a part of the garrison.
see? not perfect, but better than  being dead, id imagine.
i guess that about as much thoughts as i can regurgitate tonight. if you read everything, ill give you kudos for reading a strangers ramblings over a show.
but, honestly i wouldnt give too much grief to dreamworks for this. they tried, and it wasnt a purposeful offense, i hope, not to mention we’re a season away from closing this story. and im losing my train of thought so ill stop it here, but feel free to keep talking to me abt anything i missed either here, my ask or privately.
