В последнее время меня всё чаще настигает желание написать легкий рассказ (или несколько) по фандому «Бегущий в лабиринте».

⠀

Идеи для сюжета возникают в голове сами собой, затрагивая прутья большой клетки.

Знаете, как дети стучат палкой по металлическому забору, поднимая шум? Вот, примерно так же и мысли о БВЛ стучатся внутри головы. Некоторые сюжеты я вынашиваю уже не один месяц, так что они успели наскучить и заново пробудить интерес.

Сейчас есть книга над которой нельзя прекращать работу, но, иной раз, так хочется «переключиться», немного отдохнуть от Исаева и Мельникова, а им дать отдохнуть от меня. Просто развеяться и понаблюдать за Томасом и Ньютом, за глэйдерами, за их жизнью.

Ещё с первого фильма (вернее, с третьей части, но для меня это был первый фильм) в голове приятной болезненностью отзывается слово «Порок» в любых его проявлениях - фильмы/книги/игры, а мозг на автомате хочет продолжить «...это хорошо».

In TDC I found this parallel, awesome in its terrific perfection:

There is a text of one of the first chapters of the book

And then, after Newt's death, nearly in the end of everything, Thomas literally b r o k e the Rat Man's neck. And it was the first time when Thomas felt a lust for blood.

You know, after I finally reread the TDC chapters with the whole WICKED's plan of taking Thomas's brain out, I thought about an AU:

What if Thomas had made this sacrifice much earlier, right after "The Scorch Trials"? What if the Cure was finally made, maybe even with some kind of a vaccine, and Newt was alive?

And then I understood that, without Thomas by his side, he just wouldn't.

Unlucky suicide boy who was finally given a chance to live a life, to grow up.

But without Thomas it just wouldn't make sense.

Newt wasn't a hot-shot person. Yes, he always was there helpin' Thomas but it all made just a perfect dyad of two different people.

And Newt would be left all mentally ill after this kinda "happy ending".

When Thomas was goin' anywhere doin' anything Newt was there for him, but living a life alone would be much too difficult.

Newt wasn't also an infantile person, of course not. But he was just so broken. They both always used to trust, help & follow each other.

I have also a headcanon that in postcanon Thomas wouldn't live long after all he'd done.

So that's it: these two just couldn't leave each other - even in kinda reverse AU or in such a simple headcanon - they would always follow each other. Even to Heaven.
