“No Mark- go left! No! The other left, so stupid…” you were awaken by Haechan’s hushed yet still loud voice- although you have been in and out of sleep for the past hour.

Your boyfriend has been gaming pretty much ever since he has gotten home from promotions. It’s something you’ve grown quite used to ever since you’ve moved in together. You get it though, Haechan rarely gets time to himself so when he does, you let him do his thing.

You tossed around for what seemed like the hundredth time tonight. Haechan swiveled his chair around somehow sensing your movements. You met his gaze for a second, giving him a sleepy smile. “Did I wake you?” he mouthed. You shook your head then gestured for him to carry on with his game to which he did.

Minutes passed and you still couldn’t fall asleep. However, an idea popped in your head. Crawling out of bed, you carried yourself over to where you needed to go - Haechan. Once reaching him, you invited yourself onto his lap and quickly settled into a more comfortable position. You felt yourself being immediately welcomed into his warm embrace with one arm wrapped around your waist and the other placed over your thighs. Sighing in content, you nuzzled your face into his neck.

This wasn’t anything new to Haechan. You’ve done this a number of times mainly whenever you couldn’t sleep. Throughout your time living with Haechan, you’ve discovered that you slept much better if he held you or is simply touching you. It’s because he made you feel safe and secure like nothing bad could ever happen to you as long as you’re in his arms.

Haechan lowered his gaze down to you, smiling at the sight of you slowly falling asleep in his arms. He leaned down and pressed a soft kiss onto the top of your head causing you to snuggle even closer into his body.

“Haechan? Dude, where are you?”

“Sorry guys, I’m gonna be muted for the rest of the game. Y/N’s sleeping.”

“Aww our Haechanie doesn’t wanna wake up his baby,” Mark cooed on the other end, “How sweet.”

“Quiet. At least I managed to pull someone unlike all of you,” he grumbled out before muting himself, “And I wouldn’t trade them for the world…”
