Yes! Hobie would definitely go ham while beating some corpos!

When I originally created this version of Hobie I wanted him to look similar to Hobie in atsv so I only made some few changes (like the obvious cyberpunk 2077 implants most characters have like the places to insert chips and the jack on the wrist).

But then after the canon event I think that since neither him nor my oc, Pierce, would have fonds to get him medical service that my oc would simply take the body to somewhere quite in the always bustling city were they both enjoyed spending their time and just having fun (they may or may not have a crush on each other that neither address👀), before laying the body to rest and saying goodbye.

However since nothings sacred in a world like this I think someone would've found the body and used it to use some experimental tech that would supposedly bring people whose body died but still have their chip with all of their data intact back to live and that's how Hobie gets back from the dead, but his memory is scrambled all over the place since the person wasn't really the most careful with it since it was just another body on the street.

Moving on to how Hobie lives after this I think he'd change his whole visual, while still maintaining a more punk vibe since it just feels familiar to him, he'd also be aware that he's not supposed to be alive but doesn't know why exactly and I think he wouldn't even remember his own name at first so without nothing he'd trun to be a mercenary and become the prowler and intruduse himself as that cause it's the only thing he can hold on to in order to not spiral down into a breakdown cause he can't remember who he is or if he ever had people in his life.

Whenever he tries to rest he's always greeted with a faint voice he can't recognise calling for him and that's how he eventually remembers his actual name, resting time is the only time he looks forward to since it's the only time he can hear that faint voice that somehow always makes him calm down, but it's bittersweet since he doesn't even know who that is.

So it's to no surprise when he eventually encounters Pin-Spider (my oc's spiderman name) and hears them talk he's all confused since the faint voice in his head is practically identical as this vigilante's and he feels even more confused on who he is and on why it sounds familiar.

Needless to say this guy is having identity crisis left and right while also trying to deal with all the blood and stress from his line of work.

OMFG I'M INVESTED!!! I love love the angst in this! Imagine that your oc has holograms of Hobie and they use it to help him regain his memories. I like the idea of him hearing their voice when he goes to sleep it's like having johnny implanted in his head but he never shows himself and it kills him bc that voice seems so familiar to him that even his robotic heart aches to find the source of it 😭 and when he does he's just so utterly confused and he literally short circuits 😭
