Today I had a stroke (/j) and daydreamed about the following:

BEACH day with Hobie!

Oh our man's an absolute menace at the beach 🤣 you have no idea why but the combination of sand and the sea makes him all giddy, always wanting to throw himself in the ocean, chasing the seagulls (he says he does this so they don't eat the packed lunch but you know better) and making the most elaborate sand castle you've ever seen.

The moment you step foot on the sand he drops everything, from the parasol, bags, cooler etc and quickly grabs you, sweeps you off your feet to carry (throw) you in the ocean with him. I think he'd be an excellent swimmer, so if you're not, get ready to be taught by him. He'd be so patient too if you're scared or apprehensive of the water. Hobie would be so encouraging, making sure you don't float away or worse.

He would play shark when you're in the water, when you turn away for only a second, he'd be gone and you suddenly feel a chomp right on your thigh. Hobie would float back up with the biggest grin you've ever seen with his hands on top of his head, mimicking a shark's fin.

If the water's too rough, he'd offer to stay on the sand instead, eating the food you two painstakingly made and packed. Or make sandcastles together, make a little competition out of it. The one who recreates the houseboat better with sand wins the biggest wettest kiss ever (a win win, honestly) Hobie would be the one who initiates the reapplying of sunscreen, making sure he doesn't miss a space on your skin. You do the same, making little patterns on his back while you massage the sunscreen on his skin thoroughly.

Not to mention he would look so hot with his muscles on display with water dripping on his toned chest 🥴
