i like that youtube has randomly started recommending videos with less than a thousand views on my home page, but sometimes it just makes me feel a really pronounced sadness seeing a person that doesn't have very many views on their youtube videos, even though most people on earth don't have very many views on their youtube videos (or youtube videos at all). i want you to succeed... i want you to find your audience...

i clicked on a person's channel that i found through this recommendation and there was a video where they were splitting a watermelon that had spoiled to let off steam after being scolded multiple times at work. and for some reason, it just made me sad. i wish that person's boss wouldn't scold them at work. it's mean to make people feel that way. everyone is trying... and jobs are really just... so terrible... so why make it worse? anyway, the watermelon wasn't even really in frame. but that's because they set up the camera by the watermelon after talking about their day. they couldn't see the frame, so they didn't know.

maybe "sadness" isn't the right word to describe how i feel when i get these little looks into strangers' lives, but it's close. it's more like... i'm taken by a sudden awareness that what i'm looking at is an animal. it's just an animal that wants to live. an animal that wants to be happy. an animal that deserves to be happy... in my opinion, happiness is the birthright of any living creature. we are brought into this world no matter whether we wanted to be or not, so shouldn't it at least be pleasant? animals are cute...

sometimes, a cynical part of my brain tries to say "well, you know, they could be transphobic or something" in a uselessly weird attempt at divorcing myself from the sadness i feel when i look into strangers' lives. like, see, you don't need to feel the inherent empathy of walking the same earth as this person, because they might hate you for something you can't control! wouldn't that be awful? ...but it doesn't work. why would it? in the first place, i don't want to live my life assuming that everyone i don't know hates me, just because it's common to hate me.

i hope things get better for that person. and for everyone else. it'd be nice if things just got better for everyone.

QSMP messy lore summary - Day 65

As a reminder I write these for a friend and drop them on here with little to no editing. May contain mistakes, personal opinons, or be out of order. Enter at your own risk and all that.

The start of the day was pretty calm! Foolish logged on to learn that Bad had set up the scavenger hunt for the pritzas he had wanted (he says pritza. I don't know what else to tell you. It's a pizza) and waited for Leo to be up to start. The two had a lot of fun doing it even if it was pretty easy and overall it was just adorable. 10/10 Foolish Leo moments.

   Tazercraft duo logs on to see that Quackity took Richarlyson and while there was notes left for Cellbit and Forever there wasn't for them. They often feel like the forgotten dads of the Brazilians even tho they love Richarlyson and it's :(((

Lore can't wait forever tho, and Forever logs on (lmao) to hear about it too. He interprets such as Quackity kidnapping Richarlyson and plans on working to get him back. He sees Cellbit is in the federation base under the wall thanks to the map and goes to stalk him once he's out. 

Cellbit wakes up in the same Federation hospital that Max did after getting attacked by the code, noting that the federation saved his life. As they leave, he insists he wants to join the federation and Cucurucho indulges this. He asks Cellbit to gather information on some of the new members that Cucurucho did on day 1. Cellbit agrees, not knowing that Forever is spying on them. Also the federation is building something in the wall apparently! 

 Cellbit gathers everyone in the Favela to apologize for being in a silly funky mood yesterday, sorry but he's fine he swears! He just thinks they shouldn't leave the island and maybe they should help the federation! No one, not even the French, are buying his shit. He tries to subtly ask some of the French the questions Cucurucho gave him and Etoiles is just NOT having it lmao. He presses Cellbit who lies and says he has a book with information on everyone on the island. Etoiles also has like 10 jobs apparently. (detective, soccer player, half of the French daft punk, adventurer, akdbsknd god he's funny) 

Forever and Cellbit have a conversation that is badly translated AGAIN but Cellbit doubles down on taking Richarlyson from Forever and says the Order means nothing to him and the federation is right. 

 I have to leave around here so things are fuzzy but! Cellbit talks to Roier who has been through a bad betrayal on the island and agrees to stay by Cellbit's side no matter what. My ship keeps winning. Cellbit ends his stream by letting notes from his document scroll through on stream, revealing that THIS IS A PLAN!! It's not going how he originally planned it, but the commercial and the lying (which did hurt a bit? I think?) gave him a good excuse to 'betray' the others. The Richarlyson court case gives him a chance to publically reveal anything he learns in front of the whole server, and if they hurt him, he gets to be a martyr for the Order. He believes that revealing it to stream this way stops the Federation from learning about it (he believes that maybe the Federation can watch streams) and it seems to have worked! The update accounts, who canonically are part of the QSMP census bureau, have made no comment on his plan :) 

 Forever meets up with Baghera and Bad individually. Baghera doesn't trust Cellbit and stands by Forever's side 100% (my FAVORITE siblings on this server I stg) and Bad seems conflicted, still wanting to believe this is a plan, but stands by Forever 100% as well. When Richarlyson's "kidnapping' is brought up, Bad explains he saw them last night and kept an eye on where they went so could possibly get them close. 

Bad and Forever do manage to find Richarlyson, who explains he's not kidnapped and wants to be here. However, Quackity is cringefail as usual and didn't even make a good safehouse for Richarlyson. Forever tries to convince him to at least stay with the Tazercraft duo and Richarlyson talks to Pac and Mike offstream. It's thought that he's staying with them :) 

Finally, Bad and Dapper show off their sick new base that they're making from a huge old dungeon that they found. I'm convinced this man doesn't sleep. (Unironically Dapper seemed worried bc Bad was up basically until Dapper woke up after leaving the night before. These two...)

Forever has teased on Twitter that he found something big and will be talking about it today!
