“I won’t ask again, who’s tooth is THIS!” He snarled, discarding the fang into the mud like trash. Hundreds of small piercing yellow eyes were focused on the monarch. Some fearful, some angry, and some distraught. They all looked around amongst themselves, shrill voices resonating as the crowd called for the one responsible.

Surprisingly, Alexander would not have to wait for long, for as snide and conniving as these creatures seem to have appeared, they were cowards willing to sacrifice their own for causing such an unrest. The culprit was shoved out from the safety of the vast crowd, obviously guilty from the dried blood smeared across their jaw and the missing front canine. The creature shrieked as it tried to run back into the group, but was properly and savagely barred from entering back in; some of its own kind even attacking them before they was yanked away by a guard.

The hobgoblin was thrown at the draconian’s feet, and all things considered, it had the audacity to hiss at him. Alexander remained stoic, his crimson gaze burning into the miserable creature who stood up and dusted itself off, glaring back up at him.

“We came to Xandora to free ourselves of Humanity, and yet you lay with a human. I was doing you a favor.” They spat at the king’s feet.

“The only disappointing part is…your human pet did not taste all too good.”

Alexander snarled, it was as if this creature knew it was going to die; be torn apart, so it simply just said what it wanted. There was a chorus of angry shrieks and hollers and the clattering of metal as his guard fought for control and order of the crowd.

Alexander had had enough.

One of his paws seized the hobgoblin’s entire head, and without much effort the beast tore it clean off its shoulders. Its body collapsing to the ground. Silence. Alexander crushed its head like one crushes a grape and tossed it into a nearby fire that was still feasting on a tent.

“Let this be a warning, and a lesson.” He hissed dangerously, voice amplified so that all those where were remaining could hear.

“Anyone who sets foot into my forests will be disposed of without a moment’s hesitation. Any human I invite into my kingdom is to remain UNTOUCHED. If I have to come back here again I will come here and devour all of you, like a wolf among sheep, if not exile you from Xandora entirely. Find your dissenters and harness them, before I do.” He spat, taking his leave with his guard flanking him.

As much as he wanted to take out his anger further, he was satisfied with just the one. This was their last and final chance, next time, he would not hold back.
